Day15 - Day17: I had some difficulties to get the humidity right. It was either too high or fluctuating too much. I ended up getting a timer for the plug and running the humidifier 15mins every hour. To help with air flow, I have the main duct fan running 4 times a day for an hour. To ensure that there's airflow around the plant, I have a fan in the light as well as a smaller clip-on fan that runs during light hours. I'm not sure how the camera moved on day17... I only watered it mid-day. Day18: The timer on the humidifier and Duct Fan is now keeping the humidity in a good space. VPD now under control Day19: The Vivosun controller perfectly adapted the lighting schedule to an hour earlier, to ensure 6hrs of darkness. UInfortunately the RPi kept it's 04:00 schedule (makes sense). So I captured an hour of darkness. Adapted everything. Will have 18hrs again from Day20 onwards. Day20: In the next days I'll lift the camera higher for a better view of what's happening up top. My mesh-netting-dingsbums will arrive and I'll use this as a platform for the pi+camera. Day21: I'm not sure if I like this angle. I'll only keep it like this until she goes into veg-mode. It at least shows the new nodes growing from different perspective

An interesting week comes to an end. The Blue Dream has put down roots again, but continues to show healthy growth. Despite all this, it has produced flowers and continues to grow. Moby Dick, on the other hand, is developing extremely well without any defects and I am sure that both plants will eventually produce a usable harvest.

It's harvest time and it was a great run! Nice genetics by Barneys Farm as usual! I already smoked the Runtz Muffin and boy this stuff is powerful! Nice hybrid buzz with a sedating effect. My face felt numb after the first 5 puffs really great for pain relief! I was high as fuck but still abled to get stuff done but I would recommend for more experienced smokers! Really nice taste already even though I did not cure the sample at all. Sweet, fruity on the inhale and earthy dough-like flavour on the exhale. I'm gonna do a harvest conclusion soon.

Plants have once again almost doubled in size…almost. I cannot stop them from growing out of control and they are suppose to at least double once flower is initiated. So, this week I will completely defoliate all the big fan leaves and after 7 days healing switch to flower. I have never completely defoliated my plants, but I’m open to new things. Usually I defoliate and lollipop at the 3rd week of flower. Until then I leave them alone with little stress. All in all, I want a full net but also an easier time during harvest so I’m going to remove all the big fan leave’s multiple times this run. Lights are still on 40% and will gradually get to 75% by week one of flower. All my co2 tanks will be filled this week. Defoliation is a critical part of the flowering stage, and I typically wait until Day 21. However, this week, I tackled it earlier on Day 17 because: 1️⃣ The room was simply too full. 2️⃣ And most importantly—the Papaya Zoap had other plans! She’s a fighter—determined, defiant, and constantly reaching for the moon. Despite intense training like super cropping, she’s still pushing upward, nearly outpacing the LED lights. Challenges like this remind us of a simple truth: gardening mirrors life. It’s about resilience, adaptation, and unwavering determination. 💪 This week, I added a second SCROG layer. While this net will support the flowering colas, it’s also there to strategically manage the Papaya Zoap. Why? Because experience has taught me that if she grows out of the LED’s range, she won’t finish properly—and that could disrupt the balance for every other plant in the tent. The leaves are freaking huge, we have some curling down, might have put too much nutes. Defoliated a bit so the bottom could get some more light.

June 3: growing fast now. Still almost 3 weeks until the solstice so we’re in good shape timing wise. June 5: “we got ‘er goin’ now.” Nice fast growth happening. June 6: now past fifth node and will top first thing tomorrow morning. June 7: topped for manifolding (or mainlining), and watered with a simple compost tea (mature compost, water, molasses, vinegar for pH) left to steep overnight. The plants are looking really healthy, I've been defoliating here and there to get the light to penetrate to the lower leaves and branches. They have started to bush out from topping them last week. I started using Mammoth P Microbes halfway through last week. They seem to have grown a little quicker since adding them. The plants are still being fed 4 times a day at 1 minute each feeding. No signs yet of which is female and male, I am planning on pulling all the males once they show signs.

Should be ready for harvest, she actually smells like a fruity marker pen, coated with resin, even to touch slightly tales 10 minutes to half wash the smell of my fingers. Cant eait to have her down soon and curing!

I had a lot of fun growing pound cake it grew super fast and I had no issues. I would definitely grow it again and recommend it. One plant has a sugary lemon smell and the other reminds me of like brown sugar oatmeal if that makes sense lol so two completely different flavors. I ended up with 166 grams dry weight between the two plants so I'm pretty happy.
