It's week eight of flowering, and Purple Punch x Lemon Drizzle has developed really nicely. The buds are relatively thick and firm, and the sweet aroma got me looking forward to the first taste test. Unfortunately, Lemon Cherry Gelato has not developed as well. The buds are not as thick and firm as I would like yet, but the smell is truly breathtaking.

Week 3 well under way! This week started off with some LST on Day 13/14, and some "HST" sprinkled in for good measure (removed the node pointing down after training). i also removed one Fan leave that would overshadow the lower outwards-trained node on every plant. So far, they've been responding well, though i also must add im not really overdoing it with the LST, i'm mainly just looking to get 2 main branches instead of one. Still learning! Watered on 24/02 with 1L of PH 5.8 water, 2.5 ml/l grow, 4 ml/l rootjuice. seeing some minimal signs of what i would diagnose as nuteburn on some of the newer shoots on some plants. so ill keep the dosage right where it is, only fading out rootjuice over the next 1-2-3 waterings, depending on how i feel lol 01/03 Watered with 1 L, 5ml/L grow, 4 ml/L rootjuice, 1.6 EC, 5.9PH 02/03 Scrogged

Hi guys, At the end of the story, I am very happy with the whole cycle and finally the outcome, since I almost killed everything in there 😂 Fat Banana is a very nice fruity-kush strain ,with a genetic background tracing back to OG Kush x Chiquita Banana. It is a heritage with a lot of power behind it, this can be seen in the potency of Fat Banana’s bud, which can reach up to 25%+ THC in just 9 weeks! When grown with an expert hand (NOT MINE😅). The potential here is great! I did have problems throughout the cycle overfertilizing the plant. This is one of the strain that did notice more my mistake, can be clearly seen on the final product. Infact, a good part of the flowers, went for bubble hash, I kept a bit to try it out because the smell its amazing. I topped her and then, because of an accidents I mainlined her, first to try the Mainlining training and 2nd as it was the only one I had, I wanted to grow her. Probably If I wouldnt have messed up with the ferilizer I would have had a much better final product, this time, talking about quantity and quality. The whole plants were dried for 18 days after which they were finished in jars for another 6 weeks, if I dont fell sooner. Gonna grow this strain again 80% I would like to thank Grow Diaries for this amazingly-organized community they have created, where we all can learn a lot, and share something we really love. Thanks to everyone who stopped by and looked at the diary, squeezed the like button or comment the diary. 13/12 I'VE MADE MY FIRST RUN OF BUBBLE HASH! Very very happy with the end result, did not weight anything yet because is still wet big time, I lightly squeezed it a bit, before let it drying on parchment on a cardboard. The smell it's just absolutely crazy. I can smell strong citrus notes in the 120µm but the 90µm and 73µm explodes with crazy-sweet note. While the 25µm (did not use the 43µm) where I did collect most of the hash, smell like good and sweet hash, nothing crazy like the previous ones but a very buttery like consistency that makes me want to eat it like this...dont ask me why...even though I know you all probably felt this way too... Anyway, the paper sheet says it all about timing, washes and µm used for the extractions, but just in case I'll explain it down here. I have done 3 wash with different timing. 1º wash: 5 min only to get the most brittle trichome heads 2º wash: 10 min stardard 3º wash: 30 min to stock up a bit 😅 I could have done an extra wash for sure and get more out, but I was running out of time so...I will update with the dry weight, it was not the only wash I've done, that were just too many grades to weight up..so I chose to do it once all dry! Sadly I lost 2 plants this week. Something stressed the garden out. Lost 1 BGK and 1 Critical.

Change the water tds now 400ppm , had to adjust the ph as it shot up quite fast 24 hours after the water change . So far so good , dare I say nice healthy roots. Hopefully it will take off this week

11/17 started the flush until harvest. Plain tap well water, ph of well water is 7.3- 7.6 Pistols are orange and shrinking. Sugar leaves have a beautiful red on the edges and almost a red hue to the buds. It's a large yield plant for sure, large dense buds. Lives up to the name pound cake!

5/18: I did a little more LST on her today just to keep the canopy even. I drizzled some more wood glue into the mainstem split to ensure that it's sealed up and hardened off, but I'll still add some bamboo supports for both of those tops. 5/19: WTF?!? I was seeing a few pre-flower pistils here and there, but today it's looking like she's trying to flower along with every other plant in the outdoor garden! All I can figure is that being vegged under 24/0 for a month and then being put outside at just the wrong time under 14/10, they think it's becoming winter. I sure hope she notices the days getting longer and goes back to vegging.🙏 I wanted to beast her all the way out and finish up in late summer, and it's still only fuckin Spring! 5/20 - 5/24: She is really thriving. I did a little more LST on her before the rain started. It rained every day this week for at least a few hours, but I did manage to top-dress her pot with cavern culture and azomite between showers. I also did a foliar application with MicroLife Maximum Blooms that didn't get rainwashed off for about seven hours... That's it for week #7-

The plant took off this week. I am relatively new so was working through getting my PH measuring/balancing down. Now that I have established a better method the plant responded well. Put in a scrog to help even the canopy for the future. The other plant I have running is a bubblegum autoflower that is a few weeks older (right). Personally I really loved the look of the gold leaf at this point, it had a very nice spiral look to it almost like an xmas wreath.

This plant has been developing slower than FBT2203 and 2205. I think this is genetic differences and has a lot to do with cooler air and soil Temps at the front of the tent. Amazing how much 1 or 2 degrees can have on growth rates. FBT2207 has caught up to 2208 and growth rates have taken off since I made adjustments to keep soil Temps above 15C. The floor of this shed is not insulated and it shows. Pictures are day 46 from seed.

Really loved this. Nothing more to say for now lol, it's been my first grow and grew her with 2 wild dwarfs and loved both, would grow them again. Really excited to try it out.

Hi growmies, Somehow I must have missed to update this diary last, my apologies for that…. As the Afghan was dried, she could finally move into her forever home. I have made some modifications to the box, compared to the last run. The biggest change is of course that it’s housing now a 20l DWC system, build from two euro containers. I have further installed a little Computer fan below the canopy and will probably install another one above the canopy. Last but not least, I installed a ScrOG, build from an old Coca-Cola fridge, that someone disgarded somewhere. Lates see how it will go this time.
