SUNSET SHERBET 9/13-21 The transition to my new grow has been chaos. After reading the events of the last week you too will shake your head in disbelief, but honestly friends you can’t make this stuff up. After germination on 8/30 Sunset was transplanted to her final 3 gallon pot on 9/3 because her early true leaves were brown on the ends which I attribute to the ph of the seed medium. I also cleaned and disinfected the AC Infinity 4X4 for this new grow. The Frosted Guava that germinated on the same day did not make the transition. I started her replacement seed on 9/8 followed by germination on 9/12. The babies are starting in the 3x3. Meanwhile, new fans arrived from AC infinity to replace the fans that weren’t working correctly. One fan made clicks when it rotated and the other did not rotate at all. These new models needed a different splitter than what I was using. Ordered that, now wait for the splitter. A splitter from Amazon arrived quickly and I moved the new gals into the 4x4 tent. Since I’m using controller 69, I set the program to seedlings which has high VPD. The following morning, moisture vapor was seeping out of the tent through the zipper as well as the controller port. It was basically raining in the tent with about 1.5 gallons of was on the floor. Clean up on aisle 2. While I was mopping the tent, the lights were flickering on and off. I just knew the electronics were fried. I reported the situation to AC Infinity. Working through each step determined that the lights were not impaired by the moisture. With each step, areas that could have been the issue were eliminated. Aha..The vent motor was burned out. They are sending a replacement. (note: AC Infinity is very responsive and at no charge to me, replaces malfunctioning equipment). My babies are back in the 3x3 until the new vent arrives. But wait! There’s more! While all the issues with the 4x4 were going on Sunset Sherbet and Frosted Guava were in the 3X3. 9/13 The day after Frosted Guava germinated soil, I opened the tent only to find hundreds of bugs on the floor clustered in corners and in puddles (drippings from wet towel). I took the pots outside and flushed them with about 3 gallons of well water. Sprayed the tent with diluted vinegar water, wiped up the bugs then wiped the floors, and walls with alcohol and put the gals back in the 3x3 tent. It’s not over yet. 9/17 open the tent with more bugs on the floor. That did it. Another transplant for both gals into brand new Happy Frog soil without any amendments. I put the gals on crates and put a humidifier in the tent until I move them to the 4x4. Autoflower plants do not like transplanting so I hope they have not suffered. To help alleviate stress, I provided a light feed with Plant juice. 2 TBSP /gal plant Juice Ph to 6.62 PPM 470 Water temp 70 Pics taken 9/18, 9/20 & 9/21 Sunset Sherbet 200ml with extra poured around the rim of pot Frosted Guava 50ml with extra poured around the rim of pot It can only get better from here. Another week already... Well the girls are dialed in perfect, the room is really getting a wonderful smell, and buds are filling in everywhere. Its been 16 days since I switched the time and put the girls into Bloom, and they are filling in like crazy. Not much else to say but that everytime I grow any seeds from Original sensible seeds they grow big and wonderful. Cant wait to try these girls, Banana Sherbert. Flushing week, i have overwatteres her and let her drain to wash off the roots, fruit and mature week it seems like in another week she well be done ☺️

Plants are doing well, The 84" inch tent is a must if your not training or topping. I removed all the sacks that appeared last week and I haven't seen anymore show up so fingers cross, I check daily. Bigger tent also helps with heat control as the air has more room to rise. Hope you all like the pictures, I started to take videos as they provide more detail with less work.

Day 43 of flower - I start counting when I see pistils so for some people it would be day 50 of flower, maturing really fast they are just about done! This will be my last update until they are dried, trimmed, and out in the scale! Thank you all for following along! Last week I did still give them their fish shit and silica watering because I wasn’t expecting the trucks to turn so suddenly ! We also had some beautiful colorful fade and got some nice dark purple from the 2 permafrost ! Well that’s about it and I’ll be back in a couple weeks for the final post and conclusion of the grow!

Had a couple of the stems which were almost drooping on the ground due to the weight of the buds, so decided to harvest those two branches today. Also, this week I did a bit more research on when to harvest. I had been waiting for the trichomes to begin to turn amber, but after reading this article: https://www.growweedeasy.com/harvest, I decided to harvest when the trichomes were cloudy. Experts say that the amber trichomes give a more relaxing effect, but I was growing this plant for daytime use. Looked at it under my digital microscope and decided to pull the trigger on the whole plant. Plus, the neighbors were starting to notice the smell. Final height - 104" - 8 1/2 feet - 2.64 meters. Not good. Was concerned that someone would hop the fence and pilfer my plant. Harvested her at 35 weeks - 281 days. Grow diaries really needs to expand the weeks available for us outdoor growers. Started her indoors in Feb. Transplanted outside on April 7th.

Semana 11 - 03/01 al 10/01 *Cuarto Menguante 09/01* . 04/01: hoy desate todos los hilos y regué. Creo que ya es momento de dejar que la planta fluya. Las ramas ya están cubiertas de brotes. y la punta se ramificó lo suficiente. Influyó en la decisión de desatarla el hecho de que las ramas se estaban marcando en el nudo y me pareció bueno que descanse estas ultimas semanas vegetativas. Al ser mi primera vez no quiero arriesgar mucho. Me preocupa la parte climática. Esta armándose pequeñas tormentas con vientos muy fuertes. 05/01: hoy aplique 1L de agua con dos tapitas de jabón potásico de forma foliar. Aparte regué el suelo. Mucha vitalidad y buena salud. 06/01: hoy aplique Top Veg de Top Crop. 3ml x 1L de agua. Fueron 20L con los que regué. 09/01: hoy regué luego de 3 días sin regar. Le puse bastante agua. Luego de ver el crecimiento que esta teniendo, decidi ponerle malla. Esta semana tratare de comprar y colocarle. Quizá le ponga una malla ahora y otra a los 50cm para que contengan los cogollos.

Looking good so far, got a little bit of light burn at beginning of week but not to bad. Plants are really starting to shoot up now that the roots have hit the water. Topped all 4 at beginning of week 3 for LST prep. AC unit in tent is keeping it around 21 Celsius and water is keeping between 18-20 Celsius naturally so far. When the lights go up from 600w to 1000w though my tent will hit 25+ Celsius so I am currently testing a new water cooled thermoelectric peltier reservoir water cooler I built and I will be installing soon. So far testing it I can bring a 5gal bucket of water from 25 Celsius to 10 Celsius in about 6 hrs. So we will see what it can do with about 20gal of water in my set up once my lights get turned up. I will be posting pics/video once I get it all figured out. So far it’s way cheaper then a commercial water chiller and seems to work good.

All the late nights and hard work are starting to show signs of paying off. Got high hopes for this grow

Nature uses: Mass Flow (Barometric Pumping): This refers to the bulk movement of air through soil pores caused by pressure differences. Fluctuations in barometric pressure (high and low pressure fronts) and wind speed over the surface create these pressure differentials, which can force air in or out of the soil. This is how soil "breathes" so to speak. Barometric pressure fluctuations can cause day-to-day variations in gas emissions by a factor of 20 to 35 times, a dynamic response that highlights its importance in the overall carbon cycle. Indoor growers use: Negative pressure can replicate the effects of barometric pumping by creating pressure differentials that induce air to flow in and CO2 and nitrogen out in a controlled manner. Carbon dioxide is released by microorganisms when they eat sugars, when there is no mass flow in a cycle/system where microorganisms are releasing CO2 from eating sugars, the CO2 accumulates in the medium, leading to several significant effects: cut a long story short, the lack of mass flow prevents essential gas exchange, causing the waste product (CO2) to become a self-inhibiting factor that limits the microbial activity and can eventually kill the organisms. Increasing the amount of carbon in a soil increases its moisture retention, an often-overlooked detail that often ends up around the 4th week of flower, people wondering why hypoxia occurred. Around 40% of all the carbon captured is exuded into the soil to feed microorganisms and converted to chemical energy; CO2 accumulates. This is why it's required if you want to reuse the soil. CO2 is a very stable molecule, sitting at a "bottom of the potential energy well". A significant amount of energy is required to break its strong bonds and convert it into a higher-energy, more useful molecule (like a fuel). Converting CO2 back into fuels requires the same amount of energy released during its original combustion (due to the conservation of energy), which often makes the process energy-intensive and expensive. Therein lies the key, 90% of the air that enters the tent, enters through the rootzones, up and through the underside of plant canopy, air comes in but all the CO2 accumulates in bottom half of the tent due to its density. The exhaust linked to rh keeps a constant negative pressure that links to the rate of cellular respiration performed at night. Come morning the compensation point is upwards of 1500pmm by morning. 300 dollar grow light on its 15th grow. The real star of the show is the 14000btu Portable ac unit.

Hmmm. Was overall a very hard plant to grow for me. I hit a hard road on her & she's very difficult pheno to grow for me. I HST'ed her as her tops stretched really far away from the bulk of the foliage at the bottom. Was really weird. So, I had 4 top bud sites that were 20cm away from the bottom after her flip stretch before pre flower. So, HST'ed the tops and they gave back rock hard buds. At the end. That all finished really well.

Good day, friends!! ¯_( ͠° ͟ل͜ ͡°)_/¯ I am finishing the grow report. _( ͡☉ ͜ʖ ͡☉)_/¯ ( ͡♥️ ͜ʖ ͡♥️) This time I could not devote much time to the plant due to some problems. But my plant looks great. I can say that this is a very strong genetics and does not react to stress at all. _( ͡⟃ ͜ʖ ⟄)_/¯ Please check the video I made directly in my tent 乁( ⁰͡ Ĺ̯ ⁰͡ ) ㄏ ¯_( ͠° ͟ل͜ ͡°)_/¯ due to my absence, the plant lived outside for 6 days, when I returned, I did not notice any health problems. ( the weather was between 5- 14C ) The plant is not whimsical to fertilizers. There was a significant increase in flowers after the addition of PK and bloom boost added.
