First week of flowering on a 12/12 cycle with explosive growth. Defoliated lower 7-14 inches of plants and nipped future larf buds. Top dressed with 2tsp of kelp meal this week. Next week will be worm castings (top dressed) and the following week with bloom nutrients. Gave it a good soaking with calmagged water and Mammoth microbials. California Light work's Solar Extreme 250 around 10" above the canopy. All is well! 💚

Amending with bloom top dressing because flopping this one to flower. Over the transition, I will amend with some more bloom mix and some rock phosphate and Power Bloom from Gaia Green. Will also be doing a brand new banana tea recipe so stay tuned folks.

Day 24-31 (Day 25) The smell in here is absolutely ridiculous. My last grow didn’t smell even close to this bad in early flower. (Day 27) Stretch is finally all done. #6 in the back is very stout and barely stretched compared to everything else. I doubt it will yield much but I’m excited to see the nice tight colas on it. It seems to be still getting adequate light and raising it up is hard to do with a scrog net so I will just leave it. If it wasn’t getting enough light it would be stretching right? The early frost is really shocking to me. My last indoor round definitely wasn’t this caked and I’ve never had an outdoor plant on this level either. That’s also true in terms of smell too. (Day 29) I’m still debating whether I should feed anything in flower or just leave it. The only deficiency I’m seeing is purple stems from P def which could actually just be from light intensity rather than a lack of P. I’ve done some thinking and I’ve decided to only feed my small plant. What I’m most curious about is if a PK boost will actually make any kind of a difference in flower when it comes to bud size and smokability. So to test this theory I will be top dressing a teaspoon of 0-18-0 bat guano, a tablespoon of 1-4-2 Destiny launch and a half strength watering of 0-0-15 kelp extract. I’m trying to avoid N all together as I just toxed my guinea pig plants with another experimental flowering PK boost that had a very small amount of N in it. This plant in particular actually has very early signs of N def and probably will fade harder than the rest. (Day 31) Shit. Looks like #1 is starting to herm. It’s definitely not environment or light leaks so maybe it’s just genetic or the recent leaching stressed it out too much. Either way, it’s only a single lower branch and I’m prepared to cut her down if I start seeing anymore. I double checked every other budsite but couldn’t find anymore. In my experience true herms usually start pushing bananas out of the main tops and plants like mine can usually be salvaged with little to no seeded bud. But then again it’s day 31, when these things usually start to happen. I’m 50/50 on this one. I will be watching it everyday like a hawk if anymore show up. The breeder I’m using, ‘Jordan of the Island’s’ is notorious for having unstable genetics and this will be the last time I run any of his stuff. The quality is good, certainly better than most European and Dutch genetics I’ve run but I know I could do better where genetics are concerned. I can’t wait to start hunting my archive dosidos x gelato 41 and in house sugarcane.

This final week has been entirely dedicated to a strict water-only flush to allow the plants to consume their remaining stored nutrients, resulting in a beautiful, vibrant autumnal fade across the canopy. Tinfoil Hat: The trichomes are locking in exactly where they need to be—roughly 15–20% amber, with the rest completely milky. The sweet, sharp chem aromas are incredibly loud. Cherry Burger: The deep purple hues have completely taken over the sugar leaves. Trichomes are dense, heavy, and showing perfect maturity with a rich, savory, and funky cherry nose. Nutrients & Moisture Actions Inputs: Plain, pH-balanced water. 5.8ph Runoff/EC: Minimal to none; allowing the media to slowly dry out over the last 48 hours to trigger a final stress-induced resin swell.

Impressive how this plant managed to grow despite the few hours of light .. I guess what it could do with a better season than this year (there has been a lot of rains) and in a place where it grows with constant light.. anyway I am very happy with her, I would also say proud of how the growth went. In the last few weeks, as you can see, the plant has suffered an attack by caterpillars that have eaten some of its leaves in a short time, the plant has remained very strong anyway. I tried to remove them manually until they disappeared completely Before proceeding with the cut, I put the plant in the dark for 48 hours, further stressing it by shocking the roots with ice cubes. I've never used these two methods, but I've heard a lot about them. some say it is useless while others say that these methods work to increase the production of trichomes and terpenes. She is looking amazing and those bud sites are already starting to stack on some nice size. For only week 4, I'm really liking what I'm seeing from her. At this point we've completely moved away from Grow and she's now running on Athena Bloom. I'm going to give those flowers a little more time to thicken up before introducing Athena PK at a low dosage. After seeing what PK did for the last run, I'm definitely looking forward to seeing how this girl responds to it. So far everything is exactly where I want it. She's healthy, transitioning beautifully and there are no deficiencies or issues to report. Now we watch those buds start stacking 😏🔥. For 30th April: The aroma in the tent is ramping up. It is pure correlation, but it seemed to have increased as soon as the UV light was installed. The white widows all have a delicate perfumed lemon mango smell. The gorilla glue is spice and pine. Ph is good at 6-7 in all four pots. Still fighting the deficiencies in one of the widows. The brown spots didn’t seem to slow down my last widow grow. But it also has very pointy leaves, where the other two younger widows have fat dark leaves. She’s bigger, older and hungrier than the other two. She might just need more feed. I need to keep the calmag going. I have been sporadic with it but I’ll make it a regular feed addition from now on.

Day 12 of flower and she's looking great! Looking a little hungry so I just fed and water her with a healthy dose of Advanced Nutrients! We're on our way!

Whether it was slightly off VPD levels or this particular plant being more demanding, we decided to correct it by increasing the dose of RO Water Conditioner. Now, while this isn’t a direct substitute for Cal-Mag, it does contain trace amounts that can help stabilize the situation. 🔬 Understanding Cal-Mag Deficiency: Calcium and magnesium are essential secondary nutrients. Calcium strengthens cell walls, preventing issues like tip burn and weak stems, while magnesium plays a critical role in chlorophyll production, allowing plants to efficiently absorb light energy. 💡 Signs of Deficiency: • Yellowing between veins (Magnesium) • Rust spots on leaves (Calcium) • Slow growth and weak stems ⚡ How We Address It: • Slightly increasing RO Water Conditioner to see if trace minerals help • Keeping an eye on overall nutrient uptake to ensure no lockout • Monitoring VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) closely to optimize nutrient absorption Let’s see how she reacts next week! Branching Development – Pheno #2 Leading the Race All five phenos are thriving, but Pheno #2 is showing the most aggressive branching, pushing outward faster than her sisters. However, overall, we’re seeing very uniform growth, which speaks volumes about the stability of these genetics. 🌱 What is Branching & Why It Matters? Branching is the plant’s way of expanding its canopy, increasing surface area for photosynthesis, and maximizing potential bud sites. Well-structured branches allow better airflow, light penetration, and more even growth—key for a successful high-yield harvest. ⚖️ Topping vs. Leaf Bending – The Training Choice Instead of topping, I’ve decided to go with leaf bending for now. This method allows for gentle manipulation of the plant’s growth without causing major stress. Once we introduce the SCROG (Screen of Green) net, this training will help maximize the canopy spread. Day 78- She is ready with about 5-10% Amber Trichomes. I can’t tell you how Amazballs she smells. Super limey like a green sour patch kid. So frosty I couldn’t be happier with Xmas around the corner I am going to be blitzed off of this for the Holiday😎 . Going into 2 days of dark then the choppers. I will upload more pictures beofore I chop and hang her. I defanned her before the dark period so I can just chop and full plant hang for about 10 days. Then into jars for cure. Chopped Her and came out to 597 grams full plant. Can’t believe I got her on my scale but I did and was epic.

It's now the beginning of week 6, and the plant seems to have entered the ripening phase. I stopped using Big Bud halfway through last week and started Overdrive, which I’ll continue for the next 2–3 weeks. I’ll stick to this feeding schedule and plan to flush in about 3 to 4 weeks from now. The plant doesn't seem to be growing any taller, and the buds have likely stopped stretching, so I expect them to gain a bit more weight as they start to swell. Either way, the aroma and structure of the plant are really nice. I had quite a few issues with this plant during the vegetative stage that I had to deal with, like powdery mildew and cold stress. Thankfully, I managed to resolve them fairly quickly, but they did slow things down a bit. That’s why I’m actually quite satisfied with the results so far.

Hello, fin de semaine 4 de croissance. Le plantes semblent être en bonne santé. Elles ont bien grandies depuis la semaine dernière. Sur les 8, 3 sont vraiment beaucoup plus vigoureuses. Je les ai passées en floraison aujourd’hui, j’ai donc effectué une défoliation pour enlever toutes grandes feuilles. Et j’ai aussi fait un LST. Je les aient changées de box, je suis passé sur une box de 1.20x1.20x2 avec une lampe de 600w LED de chez OpticLed. J’espère avoir de bon résultats. N’hésitez pas à me donner votre avis sur l’avancement de la culture. A la semaine prochaine. Happy grow... 😎
