Hello growers and tokers! 👋 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾.🔥💨 There has been a couple changes this week!! First there was a big defoliation done, I cleaned the bottom of the plant. All the growth that wouldn't amount to anything because the light doesn't penetrate that low. Also took off the biggest fan leaves to give more light penetration. Then finally switched to 12/12.. Just 36 hours after the defoliation she looked fuller than before. Leaves pointing up and out. By how she's doing I'm sure she'll stretch a good bit these next few weeks. Great reaction to the defoliation. I'm still watering every other day, After the defoliation I watered with only Enzymes 2ml/L to clean the roots a bit then started with the nutrientes again. I dropped the amount of grow nutrients from 3ml/L to 1ml/L and started adding bloom nutrientes 2ml/L for now. I'll slowly be upping the bloom nutrientes and after week 2 I'll no longer add grow nutrients. That's it for this week. Stay tuned to see how she flowers. Stay safe!

Week 11 and the ducks look great. Especially at direkt sunlight, they smell wonderful. The flowers get bigger and more round every day and so far, none of the pistils get brown. I guess they will have another 3-4 weeks to get ready. The main colas are impressive (for me). Only a little damage occurred because of thirps and leaf miners but nothing serious. Harvest day!! Can't wait to try the smoke in a. Few weeks.... Wish I could have let them ride another 2 weeks but got to much rain in the future forecast starting today. All in all easy grow would have been easier if I used dry amended soil instead of bottle feeding. Strain is very restitant to light leak/stress and saw no issues with pm or rot. One plants the smaller one doesn't have a lot of nose to it just smells like weed. The other the bigger one smells like sour candy. Hope I didn't loose to much potency or weight harvesting early.Turned out great has a sour fruit dipped in diesel smell. On top of the flower I got 18.4 grams of dry sift from trim and 171.3 grams of trim that uses for making rso or infused oil/butter

Hi everyone 🤗. Today starts week two after the cutting of the cuttings. Everyone started to take root 👍. I will probably have this passage 4 again, but maybe 6 as well 😃. I'll decide spontaneously this week. Unfortunately, my water temperature is currently at 24 degrees, which is clearly too high for me. I wanted to get the grow cooler from Growtool yesterday, but since I have the small 0.8 growtoll system, the cooler doesn't fit under the grow table from the height :-(. I don't want to put it outside of the tent, for two reasons. Reason 1: The volume would be much louder if it was outside, the volume would theoretically not be bad, but after a while if I'm working on the other tents it would be annoying. Reason 2: It just looks damn unprofessional 😅. I will now look for other water coolers, otherwise I have no choice but to buy the original one and still place it outside of the tent. I will also spontaneously decide this week which training I will use eg topping etc. I only know that when I am sure how many plants remain 😋. I noticed that the whole right side of the tent had basically collapsed, so harvest was upon us. Using hedge clippers I cut away large chunks of the plant: THis thing is huge. Put some celophane over the cut ends and taped them, had to load them into the tent for drying at a couple of different levels so that it is stacked. Will update once I have dried and cured.

She's filling out nicely and is definitely due for a haircut...she has about 1 more week of stretch and in week 3 we like to do a heavy defoliation (and remove the ties). she's currently sharing the flower tent with (and is 10 days behind)our mystery strain... thanks for reading friends 🐱❤️

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. This week was fully focused on correcting salt buildup and preparing a clean, controlled finish, with quality and terpene preservation as the main priorities. 🔹 Key irrigations – Final Flush was applied with real 30–40% runoff, successfully reducing EC levels in the root zone. – Follow-up irrigation with plain water only (pH 6.2) confirmed a consistent EC drop across all pots. – Plants are now in controlled senescence, with no signs of active nutrient lockout. 🔹 Runoff data Runoff EC is now within safe ranges (≈1.5–3.0 mS depending on plant), confirming the flush worked and roots are in end-of-cycle mode rather than aggressive uptake. 🔹 Environment & light – PPFD adjusted (~700–780 µmol/m²/s) – Stable temperatures – Humidity tightly controlled to protect dense colas Everything dialed in to preserve resin and avoid unnecessary stress. 🔹 Plant status Flowers are fully formed, trichomes mostly cloudy with early amber showing, final structure locked in. At this stage we’re no longer chasing bulk, but ripeness and internal clean-up. 📌 Plan Final days with minimal intervention, observing real pot weight and plant response. Harvest window is very close and right on target. ➡️ Next post will be harvest day and the start of drying. La cosecha de ambas plantas ha sido un éxito, 2 semillas en 1 maceta de 11L y con riegos no regulares de fertilizantes. El proceso de secado fue de 14 días. Salvo 2 bajeros que se hicieron 1 semana más tarde debido a la penetración de la luz. El proceso de curado continua, salvo un bajero qué se ha probado para notar ese intenso sabor terroso y olores dulces y qué llenan al abrir el bote de cristal. The harvest of both plants was a success, with two seeds in an 11L pot and irregular watering with fertilizer. The drying process took 14 days. Except for 2 lower ones that were made 1 week later due to light penetration. The curing process continues, except for a sample that has been tasted to note that intense earthy flavor and sweet smells that fill when the glass jar is opened.

2.24.2024: Start of week 5 from seed. Started to flower last week. Nothing done today. Still no nutes given, still scared to defoliate. Plant is 15.5 inches tall and looks healthy. Light is 11 inches from the top and at 75% power, 112 watts. I'm clearly no expert and i'm sure there's something i should be doing(feeding) but she's chugging along. 2.25.2024: Day 37 from seed. Watered 64oz at 6.3ph. Bud development is slower then her tent mate. Perhaps thats due to her bushy stature and foliage. Still seeing solid upward growth each day. Hopefully she turns on the jets this week. Still no auxillary nutes given. Finally worked up the nerve to take off 8 fan leaves. Really opened the plant up. Hopefully i don't pay the price! 2.26.2024: Day 38. Small bit of upward growth. No negative affects from the defoliation yesterday. Will feed tomorrow for the first time at 1/4 strength nutes from the fox farm trio and maybe some calmag. 2.27.2024: Day 39 from seed. Finally fed the plant, albeit small amounts. Foxfam trio at 1/4 strength of the week 5 doses plus calmag. 64oz of the solution at 6.5ph. 2.28.2024: Day 40 from seed, 36 from sprout. Nothing doing today. Maybe a 1/4 inch of upward growth? Stuck around 19.5 inches in total height. Light at 75% power 11inches from the top. 2.29.2024: Day 41. 96oz of ph 6.5ph. Upward growth has stalled at 19.75 inches. Added a few handfuls of Ocean Forrest as i noticed the soil level has compacted a bit. Will add pics later today once she perks up a bit. 3.1.2024: End of week 6, day 42 from seed. Small bit of upward growth, now up to 21 inches. Besides some lite defoliation, i've let the plant do its thing. Since its my first time i figured the only goal is just to get to harvest. Lots of learnings thus far. FFOF probably isn't ideal but its working. Some burnt leaf tips, probably some nitrogen toxicity, but otherwise we're doing well. Will definately look to LST more and sooner next time around.
