This week I added a 4 inch duct on the lower left side right by the fan, so it pulls in fresh air from another room. Also, I made a bunch of 1 inch holes in my buckets, then lined them up with mold resisting drywall tape and finally I wrapped the buckets in shiny hvac tape, figured it would help with the light. I have 2 temperature and humidity probes, one by the canopy and the other one lower. I must say that I was pleased with the progress so far.

I am excited to try out this new gorilla cookies from fastbuds. I originally started this setup to compete in the solo cup challenge, but I needed something that will be minimal maintainence and doesn't require hand watering. So this is what I ended up with. I will not be entering since I know it will bring controversy, but I am going to follow the rules and treat this grow as if I am competing. I didn't want to use regular solo cups because last time I had a lot of algae growing in the root zone when I harvested. I opted to use a black light proof cup. These cups were 27 oz originally so I filled them with 16 oz of water, marked the level, then cut them down to 16 oz. I set the drain pipes about an inch from the bottom so they have a little reserve if I have pump or power issues. I know people will see the drains as a way for roots to grow out of the cup but in reality I have to keep the entire pipe free of roots or it will clog and overflow. So I am actually losing a little volume due to this. I filled the bottom inch or so of the cups with river gravel to stop the perlite from washing into the reservoir. I am running a 5 gallon reservoir with a small air pump and the plants will be getting irritated 24 hours a day from an aquarium power head pump. I set the system up to be totally self contained and easily portable. It was all built from things I had laying around other than 97垄 for the cups. I will be keeping the feed simple as always feeding maxigro and maxibloom with a couple flower boosters.

Everything鈥檚 going great, but winter has arrived, causing some temperature and humidity fluctuations. The plant doesn鈥檛 seem to mind, though. She鈥檚 forming flowers beautifully, and I鈥檓 super happy with how she鈥檚 developing!

Quick update on Fractal #2! Defoliated and bent some leaves to prevent moisture buildup. Fed with all three nutrients from the booster pack. Not expecting huge buds - most of this harvest will go towards bubble hash production, and she鈥檚 looking perfect for that purpose! Thanks to everyone for checking in! 馃檹 Appreciate you taking a look!

馃搯 Week 12, 7-12 July 2024 Harvest 8 July - Turned light power down to 25%. Changed nutrient solution to RO water to begin flush. 11 July - Harvest 12 July - Begin curing time. 馃搼 Harvest time! She is ripe, danky, sticky, full of resin, solid, and I am pleasently suprised at the yield. This is not your ordinary Auto Afghan variety. She produces heavy buds and a lot of them. This is also the first auto I have grown using DWC in 12 weeks without manipulation - 18 hours straight from start to finish. I pushed her to the limit. Now she will hang in the closet at 50-55% RH and 70 degrees F, for about 7-10 days curing. Then she will trimmed and put into one quart glass mason jars, with 62% Boveda TurpShield and burped until 62% RH is maintained. The full potency potential and terp profile will be reached in about 30-45 days. 馃搯 19 July 2024 The Smoq Report: After 7 days of hanging, she was ready to cut. I trim and shape each individual bud, removing unwanted leaf and stem. It鈥檚 a process but worth it if you smoke bud. Her potency is evident. It will take the experienced smoker to a satisfying high and keep you there for a good hour or more before you want another hit. The smell and taste is of a typical Afghan. I was expecting a heavier yield, but in the end I guess we all hope for a little more! Maybe next grow! 馃嵍 Nutrient solution changed to RO water 馃挧 Using reverse osmosis water with EC/TDS at 0 馃攩 Light power at 25%, DLI 20 canopy coverage at 18hrs 馃槫 Using PYPABL, Air Pump, 400GPH That is it for this grow. Thanks for following, reading and stopping by.

Qu茅 tal queridos jardineros?!!

Week 5, just took down the othwr side. Was experimenting with bleach for sterilization. Unfortunately it resulted in an extremely poor yield, from one of my big producers. Have switched over to a benificial bacteria mix, which includes some molasses, folic acid, Humic ac8s and sea kelp. Product is called Hydro Bio

Week 2 : Colorado Cookies in Biotabs Biotabs are drying much quicker than the other pots because they're closer to the fan, so i'll tune the air control in by having the fan pointing upwards instead. They got watered with micro from my very own specialized micro , one tablespoon per L, aloe gel from my kitchen plant, and (regretfully) a bit of lemon juice to pH it. didnt realise the organic would be no match for the aloe pH wise, so i'm spraying 1ml of my very own amino concentrate directly on the soil , not on the plant. i do one spray in the morning one spray at night, for 10 days to try to get the pH normalised to 6 , the night time is just enough to mix one spray can of 250 ml with 1/4 ml of amino concentrate, and have some left over. i added maybe 160 ppm of aloe to the watering. I sprayed the leaves once or twice max with 1ml/L spray and 120 cal mag on day 5. VPD went from week one 0.6 to 0.8 to pretty stable at 1.0. got my laser thermometer in the mail, so that really helps ! very even phenos across the colorado cookies so far, three nodes, very straight, very hungry. they seem to be enjoying having the roots a bit too cold more than the others. in soil ppm went from 340 in week one to 420 in week 2 馃殌

Still monsterous. Had to bend down more colas during this week!! Crazy plant. She will be so much better when I can spread her out, the amount of flowers on her are simply amazing. I honestly didn't know what fimming her side branches would do, but it looks like it's paid off in spades. A few more weeks to go yet, her trichomes have not developed yet. Anyway, apologies for poor pics this week, they're all getting too big to get in and out the tent without damage. Last week I snapped the main cola on the CBD 馃槶

Sour Jealousy Auto FastBuds 2025 Outside Grow Week 4 April 27-May 3 Veg Not much to say. Our weather is roller coaster. One day high of only 72 and low of 44 while most of the others in the mid-80s and low in the 50s. Most of the days were sunny and there was one day of thunderstorms. I can see with the erratic conditions; she has not grown as full and leafy as she should have by now. She only grew about an inch and now 6" tall. I fed kelp and TPS1 once this week. The last pic is a heron i saw in our ditch. Your likes and comments are appreciated. Thanks for stopping by. Growers love 馃挌馃尶 馃挮Natrona馃挮
