This Papaya Sherbet, according to FastBuds, is a hybrid with a 9-10 weeks flowering period. Sounds like an epic strain and I personally cannot wait for this lady to strut her stuff!😍 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod indoors as our weather is still a bit too chilly to put a newly sprouted seedling outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 40's℉). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes, and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. Let the fun begin!🤪💚 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 5/7- Here we go with the new addition to the FastBuds family, Papaya Sherbert fem photo. I placed one seed in a glass of lukewarm tap water (non-chlorinated well water). Within 24hrs there was a root beginning to show coming out of the seed. I then placed the seed between two moistened paper towels that I then put in a vented plastic container. I put the container in a dresser drawer where it would be warm and dark. 5/9- When I checked on the seed yesterday, there was a substantial root about 1/2" long coming from the seed. I then planted the seed, root first with just the seed head exposed, in a 2" starter pot filled with peat that I pre-moistened with 6.5ph well water. I placed the starter pot in the bottom of a Solo Cup that I had cut in half. I then placed a clear Solo Cup over it to act as a humidome and placed it under the lights in the grow room. Today the little Papaya Sherbert showed her pretty little self and so begins this journey together with her! 5/12- Two days ago the Papaya Sherbet sprouted her first true leaves and today she's really showing some vigor and some impressive growth! Today I went ahead and transplanted her for the first time into a 2qt pot filled with pre-amended coco/perlite. Before placing the Papaya Sherbet into her new home I coated the hole with Xtreme Gardening MYCOS, then placed the Papaya Sherbet and watered her in. 5/15- One week from breaking ground and the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet feminized photoperiod is looking fantastic and doing great with a second set of leaves now out! She's liking her bigger pot and is really beginning to take off now. I should be able to do her final transplant, which will move her outside, next week as our weather is rapidly improving... Esta semana se comienzan a formar las flores en la copa y brazos laterales por lo que se empiezan a aplicar los abonos de floración. La Orange 1 sigue recuperándose de la quebradura del tallo central, como consecuencia de esa herida comenzaron a crecer con fuerza los brazos laterales lo que es bueno pero creo que el stress producido va a afectar en demasía a la producción final. Orange 2 sigue creciendo de forma vigorosa al igual que la Northern 1, la Northern 2 crece lente pero se ve sana. Si bien se realiza un riego con abono y luego 2 riegos con enzimas se siguen presentando signos de sobre-fertilización en las puntas de las hojas. Se agregan 40 gramos de SuperGuano por planta.

This was another very good week for the plants, with the flowers beginning to swell up and take shape. Some of the lower leaves are starting to yellow, but this is expected. As the light doesn't penetrate as far, the plant will begin to 'consume' those leaves and drop them to redirect energy to the tops. The canopy is fairly even apart from 1 small spot, which does not have any colas at all. This is due to me bending away the GSC that was topped, with the intention of the lower branches stretching up. This happened with all the other plants I did it to, but not this one for some reason. I think it was due to airflow around the budsites so I added an extra fan last week to hopefully improve this. The strongest looking plants by far are still the ones that were Topped with LST, followed by the mainlined, with only LST in last place. I have found that the LST only ones do not have stems as thick as the others, so this may impact yield later. Not much done in the way of training apart from the odd leaf bending or stem tying. The next few weeks will most likely be fairly uneventful, as now we just need to wait for them to flower fully :D

10/14/19 - manim baked. Time to feed them. Going to start flushing this week! Enjoy a video :) UPDATE* Life happens and we make mistakes. Little too much to drink with a good smoke and a long day at work.... ended up not finishing putting my girls all back in the tent so they were out for a few but only interrupted with light for 3 hours.. Not a big deal since we are this far but live and learn.. Rule 1. Dont get shit faced while taking care of the girls 😂👌😅🤦‍♂️💁‍♂️ Anyways will take pictures tonight and then feed the girls. 10/15/19 - watered the girls tonight. No signs of slowing down! Buds fattening and ripening. 10/16/19- updated pictures. Checked the buds. No feeding tonight. Trichomes are mostly milky with a few clear and a tiny amount of amber. Should be around next week when we hit 8 weeks of flowering, we will then determine harvest week. Shooting for 2nd week of November. Girls should be around 11 to 12 weeks in flowering. 10/17/19 - Watering time and updated pics. Milky and clear with a amber here and there. Shes close but needs I'd say 2 weeks more then a flush. Harvest is close. Her buds are getting fat 👌 10/18/19 - Updated pics Day 50. I'd say 2 weeks from now I'll begin flushing. So by mid November these guys will be dried and jarred 💨 10/19/19 - no watering needed. Buds are looking good. Hoping for 3 oz between the 3 bf phantoms. 👌 seeing more cloudy, amber here and there. I believe by 8 weeks we will begin flushing for 1 to 2 weeks. Then 48 hours of darkness before their chops. Will start setting up my tent for drying once it gets closer. Want to keep the rh at 50 to 52 while keeping the air at 70 to 68. I want them to slow dry and depending in how we run the tent, i will trim either on day 3 or 7. I want to give them 10 days of drying for a good fluffy cure. Top shelf bud is the goal for my first phenos. 10/20/19 - Fed the girls. I think this may be the last week and a half of nutrients then flush.

The Overdose is a compact indica looking dwarf but the bud sites are packing out a punch 👊🤣 Day 54 23/08/24 Friday Watering only today using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6, I'm watering in 350ml no run off. 400ml I'm seeing tiny run off. This week went really great! Plants are looking super healthy today at day 22 from seed!! Today they got a dose of just pure water phd at 6.5 ! Temperature an humidity has been staying pretty stable everyday, staying around 70-75 degrees and 58-61 % humidity!! Can’t wait to see what these girls do this week !
