This Papaya Sherbet, according to FastBuds, is a hybrid with a 9-10 weeks flowering period. Sounds like an epic strain and I personally cannot wait for this lady to strut her stuff!😍 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod indoors as our weather is still a bit too chilly to put a newly sprouted seedling outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 40's℉). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. Our weather has finally cooled down and the daylight has dropped to just over 13 hours now. 8/21- My daily watering campaign continues with me giving the Papaya Sherbet 5-8 gallons of well water from the garden hose. 8/23- Luckily, with it's wide node spacing, there's not a lot to do with the Papaya Sherbet at this point except to keep her watered! She has not required any thinning out and has had only a few lower leaves turn yellow, which I promptly remove. Overall, this lady is a dream to grow, requiring little to no effort or maintenance! 8/25- There's the second week of flower on the books for the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photoperiod and I have great expectations for how this fine looking lady is going to turn out, as she has exceeded all my expectations so far! Well damn thats a big bush lol. The one next to it looks so tiny but is at par with were my plants usually are at this stage with the type of training I've done lol. If it wasn't for its mass I'd probably still go one more week but because of king Kong over there I'm switching to 12/12 tomorrow lol. Today is the last day of veg and the first day of flower is to come. If it goes a full 8 to 9 weeks I'll be looking at a March harvest. If that's the case I might be able to squeeze in a quick auto flower grow before the family summer vacation lol. The temperature has been getting warmer outside and the night time temperature hasn't been to bad. The humidity has been stay around 50% all week and thats were id like to keep it but we're expecting a lot of rain over the next few weeks so we'll see how well that works. I picked up 2 more temperature hydrometer meters with probes for the room. And with all the fans the air movement in the room has been great. Humidity and temperature is the same in every corner of the 8x9 room. I switched the lights from 24/0 to 18/6 this last week to get them ready for the approaching 12/12 light schedule. And because that is tomorrow I lowered the lights down so that tomorrow I just have to turn the lights up. I also emptied my tank and refilled it with the nutrients for flower so that the treys can empty a bit before I add all the new nutrients. I filled all the trays before I turned it all off so they would have enough for the night. Well that's all for now, happy growing and happy new years!!! Keep it growing!!!

Day 106, Flower Day 50. Looked at Trichomes this morning. GSC still showing some glassy/milky look. Bubba is pretty milky colored. Still needs at least a week. Went on vacation last week. Had somebody else water. They closed the door, so not as good air circulation. Bubba showed powdery mildew. Not yet severe, so I took the plant outside, trimmed off some fan leaves that showed mildew. Then I sprayed the entire plant with a 25% milk solution (whole milk) and let it dry. Back in the tent. Cranked up the inline fans and added a small fan to the Bubba tent. Just need a couple more weeks.

The flora has started, and I increased the amount of MKP while reducing calcium nitrate. PPM is slightly above 1000, nearing 1200. The pH remains between 5.8-6. They are in that phase of substantial daily growth, hoping for a bountiful harvest. I'm still defoliating and tying them.
