Week 1 Day 1 - 8/12/2023 1st Water change Day! Such a special time it is when you remove the little bit of Nutes that you gave them as an appetizer and you give them their first real meal. Added 39 Gallons of Water to my system SILICA= .5mil/Gal = 19.5 = 20mil Root Drip = 1mil/Gal = 39mil Cal Mag= .25mil/Gal = 9.75 = 10mil FLoraMicro= 3.0mil/Gal = 114mil FloraGro = 2.0mil/Gal = 78mil FloraBloom = 2.0mil/Gal =78mil ORCA= .5mil/Gal = 19.5 = 20mil Week 1 Day 2 - 8/13/2023 Everything is looking good the roots are making thier way to the water and the new grow is looking nice and green. Week 1 Day 3- 8/14/2023 Everything is right on track, they are looking beautiful and in the praying postition all leaves happily lifting towards the light. Week 1 Day 4- 8/15/2023 Looking beautiful today and looked like she could use her first haircut.. gave her a TOP off. Roots are laying in the water everything is looking right on track.. Week 1 Day 5- 8/16/2023 walked in and the humidity was under 60.... ohh noooooo.. So I added 2 humidifiers to the tent and attached them to my InkBird controller which is set to 62. She had roots nicely in the water.. this grow is on!!! Week 1 Day 6- 8/17/2023 Humidity was a little low this morning, so I refilled the humidifiers. Other than that, the temp looks great, the PH looks great, the PPM looks good the plant is in the praying position and all damage from the little drowning seems to have been fixed. Happy Happy. Week 1 Day 7- 8/18/2023 Yay.. week 1 in the books, roots in the water growth has started first hair cut given and both side nodes are growing. Everything is looking good and on track.. A lot better than week one of the last grow when I had them drowning week 1. Really excited on how this grow is going to come out.

Had an unexpected 50 mph thunderstorm strike last Tuesday. It broke one Sour Strawberry plant in half. The RuntzLayerCake was bent over thirty degrees. Many limbs broken and bent on the plants. I had to duct tape several main stems as you’ll see in the video. The four caged plants proved stability for the others. Second grow. Lesson learned. All the plants are now trussed with string and are very healthy. Thanks for looking in this week, and let me know your thoughts.

*********************************************************************************************************** START OF WEEK The Hawaiian Lion (right) and Tricho Jordan (left) are the two plants that dominate the face-on tent photos, and for good reason. Each of those plants is twice the mass of either Chimera. The HL is superior in bud sites, resin, and terp intensity, but the Tricho and the good Chimera #3 are both not too far off in resin production and aroma profiles. The weird runt is frosting up too, so we're looking at getting something unique and quality from each. That is, if I don't muck this up. I fed last night, and as part of that process, I mix my nutrients in a four gallon batch at a double(ish) strength. I then add that to my reservoir, which is shut off at that time. This allows me to work in the res, to both get the ppms right and the ph within range. I just use plain water to level off the ppms and then I adjust for ph. What I didn't do last night is TURN back on the flow of water from the reservoir. However, you wouldn't have guessed it from how the plants woke up today (see first image). I normally check the bases of each plant daily, and in doing so today, I noticed that one felt slight dry. All tanks were empty, but all plant bases were somewhere between wet to moist. This is how I spot check, and it's worked in the past. This isn't the first time these tanks have had a catastrophic issue leading to an unexpected no flow sitch. There's a filter that sits between the reservoir tank and the primary feed line. That has unexpectedly clogged on me in the past, but with no deleterious effect to the grow. That was caught within a day as well by testing the plant bases. I don't blame autopot for either event. Obviously, last night I was a baked potato and just forgot a step. The clog is because I use yucca in my mix, which is an organic material that over time in the reservoir leads to build up. I'm afraid to introduce hydrogen peroxide into the set-up, so I'm just maintaining my reservoir by cleaning it fully every other week for now. I don't want to kill off the bacteria in the environment. I'm also using some fungus, too, so I'd rather promote coexistence of a microbiome than serialize it, especially considering the plants seem to be on pace. **************************************************************************************************************************************************************** END OF WEEK Shit! I've got a herm. I've found four nanner clusters this week, all on the lower third-ish of the Hawaiian Lion. Someone, thankfully, spotted it in the purple flower pics. Turns out, while super fun to look at, those sweet violet flowers turned into harbingers of mother fucking doooooommm. I've never seen this before. I guess I've been fortunate, but I've also never had a camera this capable before either. I had no idea how small these pee pee's were. I guess I was expecting girth, but shame on me for not knowing. I rapidly learned as much as I could over the last two days, and I've come to the conclusion that I may or may not be screwed. The consensus on my situation ranges from either burn my tent down to thank ja for the blessings of feminized seeds. We're riding this baby out. I think I have fifteen to twenty days left and I think these little nanners might have been in action for ten days, hopefully less. I don't know what kind of damage will be done in that time, but honestly, I'm not too worried. While disappointing, my use case is a personal supply of bubble hash and flower rosin. If it's seedy, I'll wash most of it. I don't know what caused it, but I'm thinking a light leak or genetics. The environment is dialed and that plant hasn't shown one sign of anything less than vigor throughout. The spots that developed the purple flowers (lower bottom half to bottom quarter) are all in the vicinity of where I found the herms (four locations) and these locations are close to the edge of the tent along the zipper. I'm vigilant about keeping my tent and grow space in order, but a light leak can't be ruled out. I'll have to test that after the harvest. The herm flowers are minuscule and I'm surprised I found them. The camera was a great tool in this case. I sprayed the areas that I removed the nanners and then dried it, but for what it's worth, I think the damage was already done. That water bit felt more like ritual, but I'm still feeling optimistic that I'm not totally hosed.

Very progressive week in. I am not changing the journal itself yet to flower since the flowers are only just forming like today or yesterday ish. From next week, I will change journal to reflect that as well. Helps me with ranging the PK week accurately. As I mentioned before, Mammoth P was received with no seal however seller adamant that product is all good. To be honest, I immediately started seeing difference in girls (in a good way 😊). They are much more stacked (very short inter nodal distance on new growth) and this started to happen soon as I started giving Mammoth P. Still no way to tell for sure what exactly is working, therefore, I am sticking to "it IS genuine product in its genuine form". Just to be on safe side, I ordered some Recharge as well LOL 😅 This shit is Sealed as fuck so I have ZERO doubt. I will be adding that once a week from here on too... just in time. Important update is that after the cycle was changed to 12 hours light, I saw leaf tip burn on one of the girls (nothing major) beginning of the week, I narrowed it to Light stress so moved em back a bit and lowered the nutes too just in case (sativas do tend to be more moody or is it just me)...Anyway, She is spot on once again so all good. I found Canazym really helps with keeping girls happy, especially after a defoliation or a stress. Haven't yet defoliated heavily just one odd leave picked from down below as I plan to lollypop her bit later, (Lollypoping is way to go with these flat lights , COBs are another story). So they are being prepped for the hair cut, I expect week later. She only grew 8cm this week. Slowing down the stretch now She's doing well. Nothing else to the report as I'm just letting her do her own thing. Some of her very lower leaves were quite spotty and discoloured. I pulled maybe 12 off her through the week. Not sure if it's a deficiency. New growth looks nice and healthy though, flowering is going well, trichomes are enlarging this week, she's getting quite frosty already! Started flowering today, hope for some good stretch :)

So we started feeding them. just some organic growth by BAC and some Calmag. Mostly around the sides of the pots to encourage the roots and start the Microlife overall. We have used nice lukewarm water and added some sugar sirop to activate all the wee beasties. The growth last week was phenomenal although one is going faster than the other. For this reason I changed them around, should climate on that spot have anything to do with that. Now we are looking at other XL runts diaries, to learn from the best performers and copycat their methods to maximize yields with this setup. We will decide if we will just LST them or give them a top... Have to be quick tho, these ladies will flower soon... Things are starting to really pick up speed! New growth errrday about 1" on each branch! Still no PH issues, but man is that 1L drinking a lot! I've been having to feed 10L every 3 days between both 1Ls, so about 1.5L a day it's drinking. The 1L is also MUCH farther along than the 64L, although the 64L is about 6 days younger, so perhaps it'll catch up soon. I also snapped a couple branches on the 1L dude but patched them up and they're healing well.

Ow damn these ladies are almost done and we can not be more exited about these the smell is absolutely awesome and the buds look gorgeous. We started flushing yesterday so all the nutrients are gone and we now only give water with the awesome flawless finish from advanced nutrients and we will flush for little over a week and then we are going to harvest this is the first time we did a scrog and we must say that is was a good experience and we probably going to do it again really soon Talk next week Cheers, Nibameca
