[DAY 36] - 6/7/2022 - 29°/30° and 60% RH average; - TS 1000 set at 75% = 112 watts and 45cm away - After bending the plant has returned to about 38cm in height; - EC 0.9 / 1 - PH remains fixed at 6.4, no matter how much PH down I put in the solution, it will always return to 6.4 after few hours; ------------------------------------ SCROG TIME AND DEFOLIATION IN SEVERAL TIMES ------------------------------------ - 8 PM - Lights on and scrog net mounted. The scrog net is about 25 cm (10 inches) from the clay and I have tried (at my best) to space the individual branches in the various outer squares of the net. In the next few days I will try to better fill the free squares to try to fill the scrog net completely. - 6 HOURS LATER - I was very rude due my inexperience. Despite that, plant seems already recovered, it is drinking and the branches are already bending to seek the light. [DAY 37] - 7/7/2022 - Just removed some leaves under the canopy who won't get light. I did defoliation in different times due I wanted no stress the plant too much, I hope it was a good idea. [DAY 38] - 8/7/2022 - More defoliation - Bent branches through the net; - Added peppermint oil on the lid to prevent insects from getting into the tent; - Today temperature is cooler, which is why I decided to keep the light off for only an hour. I took the opportunity to give the plant more light after the stress of the last three days to allow it to recover faster. It will go to sleep directly tomorrow at 5 pm until 9 pm, as usual. [DAY 39] - 9/7/2022 - Mounted the carbon filter; - Tried to fix the scrog but I broke a branch; [DAY 40] - 10/7/2022 - Today I tried to lower the net but it is harder than I thought. By now the branches are stuck in the net and I was able to do very little. - I probably made it worse, Before the branches seemed to me better spaced and now I'm afraid of forcing my hand too much, I risk getting even worse. For a couple of days I leave the plant alone, it's not growing so much; - EC 1.1; PH 6.2-6.4; Still drinking about 2 l/day; - TS 1000 set at 75% = 112 watts and 45cm away from the center of the net. The branches on the sides are going up and slowly approaching the lamp, but I don't move it higher because I want a strong light to arrive in the center to allow the lower branches to rise and reach the others. We hope well - I am worried that I've stressed the plant too much, there are numerous branches (even recent ones) with a color tending to red / purple. I hope she recovers well and will try to stress her to a minimum in the next few days. For the first time I had to take care of the plant directly, handling the branches and defoliating. Surely someone more experienced would have done a much better job than mine. Get back soon HULK [DAY 41] - 11/07/2022 - EC 1.3; PH 6.4 - Temp. 28° / RH: 50%; - Today I started raising the EC from 1.1 to 1.3 and the plant reacted well. I used the solution prepared 2 days ago with: demineralized water EC 0 / 0.4 g/L SILICATE / CAL-MAG up to 0.35 / A + B + HYDRO BOOSTER + 1/2 dose of BLOOM STIMULATOR for a total of = EC 1.3. Having to add 2 liters to the DWC, I raised the EC of the made solution from 1.3 to 1.7 with the only addition of CAL-MAG => TOTAL EC IN DWC = 1.3. The plant seems to react well, after 6 hours the water level has dropped and the EC dropped from 1.3 to 1.2. The plant shows to be hungry, especially for CAL-MAG. Over the next few days, I will keep EC levels well monitored and act accordingly. - TS 1000 set at 75% = 112 watts and 45cm away from the center of the net. The branches on the sides still are going up and slowly approaching the lamp. I start to see very few leaves with yellow tips, if it continues like this, I move the lamp 5 centimeters away from the center; - For the moment I stop with the defoliation for 10/15 days, on the advice of @SwissKush [DAY 42] - 12/07/2022 No update. I'm fine, don't worry.

SUNDAY 4/28: I plucked off some dead leaves and did some leaf-tucking. She's fattening 👍 Daytime temps are still hovering around 87-90f, but I've got her sitting in 70-72f temps for 6 hours of darkness now.😁 I did a little video today and I'll take a few "glamour shots" tomorrow. MONDAY: I watered her with about 1/2 gallon of ph'd water including calimagic, bud candy, terpinator, boomerang, and her last dose of beastie bloomz. She'll get cha ching from now on- TUESDAY: I only had enough time to clean the room a little, change out carbon filters and clean the evap cooler tanks. WEDNESDAY: I took some photos today. I'm liking what I'm seeing(and smelling)..👌 I have some sort of contagion in the big tent..leaves suddenly getting brown and crispy overnight on a few plants...she's still not been affected...fingers crossed...🙏 THURSDAY: The 'contagion' seems to be spreading through the garden...but she's still okay.. I'm thinking maybe I completely PHuktup the ph when I added silica last time and didn't correct it??😮 FRIDAY: I plucked some dead leaves and misted everybody with perfectly PH adjusted spring water and increased airflow in the tent. Also decreased the dehumidifier to 45% RH. SATURDAY: I fed her and did a trichrome check...this was her last feeding for sure. She's about 70% cloudy now.👍

*If anyone read through my GDP diary, this is going to be mostly the same stuff. So, sad day friends. I got spider mites and had to throw all my plants out. This is what I think happened: About 2-3 weeks ago I noticed some freckling on the lower leaves. I looked at it and thought it might be a cal/mag issue so I added cal/mag that week and went about my business. I saw it about a week later and it wasn't getting any better so I added more cal/mag. This continued for about 2-3 weeks until I finally took off a leaf and examined it under my microscope. I saw little bugs crawling everywhere and my stomach just dropped. My fiance did some quick research while I was panic ripping leaves off (see pictures) and she correctly diagnosed it as spider mites. I debated with myself and my close friend and ultimately I decided to throw all the plants in my tent away. I know that there are a lot of people who will say that there are things I could have done to make it to harvest but what it came down to is the people I take care of and personal pride. I consider myself a caregiver and I give away product for free that I am not going to use to my family and close friends. I thought to myself "Would you smoke this?" and when my answer was "ehhh, I don't know", I thought about how it would feel giving it away and immediately made the decision to destroy them. I take an immense amount of pride in my product and this hobby and if I am not going to stand behind it I would rather just start over. I grow from my heart (shout out to the Grow From Your Heart Podcast!) to help people and make sure my family is not getting unsafe product from sketchy people. To spray pesticides in flower that may hurt people and have little bug carcasses in there just goes against that in every way and is just wrong in my opinion if you are giving it away to others. If you are the only one smoking it then it is one thing to take that risk but not with your patients. I want my medicine to help people, not create or exacerbate health issues. It is also important to note that the mites had moved from my flower tent into my veg space and took over my auto berry as well. Damn things are crafty and fast. So that is why I made the decision to destroy them all after 3+ months of res changes, pruning, and manifolding on a slow vegging strain. Feel free to chime in with your opinion but I do not regret my decision. I threw out my new clones, mother plant, and auto berry I had on my veg side as well. Shout out to all the other growers out there that do the right thing by their patients. Caregivers > Cash croppers. For anyone curious, I removed everything from my tent and scrubbed it all with a 20% bleach/water solution. All equipment has been wiped down and stored in the garage away from any organic materials. I will give them until tomorrow (2 days) to air out and dry and then I will wipe it down again with bleach and wait another 2 days. Hopefully that will make sure everything is dead and will not come back next grow. That next grow should start in about a week. It sucks but sometimes it happens and you gotta be ready for it. Lesson learned. Never bring outdoor plants into your indoor garden even if it is after just a day or two. A bunch of people on here and Reddit warned me and I did not listen. Now I have learned the hard way and it feels like when your parents "told you so" haha. Thanks to everyone who stopped by along the way. Stay tuned for a new grow coming soon. What a week, the Amnesia Haze from Divine Seeds continues to pack on flower and is honestly worth the wait for weight if you know what i mean 😉 she is currently going through her flush period and will luckily make it for atleast a week of drying and two weeks of curing before competition time, wish she had more time but unfortunately the glory of holding one of the first East Coast Canna Cup Trophies is the goal at hand and we get the feeling that she is without a doubt a cup winner. 29th April is D Day, wish us luck till then everyone
