8/7 Plants were still heavy this morning. Temperatures have been much milder. 70's is much better than 90's. I had to water twice a day for a while. I defoliated ahind found some heat stress ob the gmo canary on the end with some twisted leaves. Some leaves are turning purple on an event horizon and gmo. Night Temps are much cooler plus its probably a pheno thing. I defoliated everything dead yesterday. Found lacewind eggs. Saw an adult green lace wing this morning in the garden along with a couple more lady bugs. There were also some lady bug larvae so I hope the go right to town. It's getting cooler so if I'm going to poorly I need to do it. Sherb pie plant seems to he the pillars favorite. I've killed a few of them. He said they're more full and healthier looking. I looked at my diary last year and I had plants over the top of the cage. The weren't as bushy but I'm not complaining. These are far more indica dominant than last year so that's probably part of it. Leaves on the event horizons are starting to turn purple. I'll update what I do. Day 56-63 (Day 5F-12F) (Day 6) Water retention is still a big issue in this soil, even with the reduced amendments, loose compaction and added perlite. Pots just aren’t drying out fast enough and I still need to water in enough to reach the bottom. I wish I had some flood trays for this exact reason so I could bottom water instead. (Day 9) I’m going to try running 2 liters of water through each pot until I see a good amount of runoff on each plant. Maybe the nutrient content of the soil is just too high. If this doesn’t work, I got nothing. Plants are drooping like crazy but that’s not surprising as I just flooded them. I’m going to turn on the carbon filter to clear out the humidity a lot faster. Over the next few days I’m going to let the filter suck the life out of this tent until it’s bone dry. If I start seeing deficiencies arise from my minor flush, I will foliar feed some 1-1-1 kelp and some 3-0-0 calmag. I highly doubt I will see any deficiencies but it doesn’t hurt to plan ahead. (Day 11) Ladies responded well to that heavy watering which is a little surprising honestly. The pots are still soaked and super heavy but they seem to be happy. (Day 12) I’m really not seeing any well defined bud sites which is not a good sign at this point. I have never grown under HPS and have never flowered a true 10 week strain so it could just take a little longer in early flower. So far I’m unimpressed

Light is set to 80% from now on. Starting this week Haifa Grow Clean is added as a helper, it contains Polyphosphates which are supposed to make nutrient that have fallen out of the solution available again and clean tubes/sprinklers. This is my second growth in a suitcase, I got 30 grams of dry flowers from the first growth, but this growth together with FastBuds is obviously much better than the first one :) although the girl's leaves burn from the light, which is only 10-15 cm from the flowers, but the girl copes with it perfectly :) good luck to everyone.

week three flower everything looks fine so far :D eight days after defoliation I water them with 1.5l every 48h the light I use was set to 80% and it hangs 80cm away from the tops gelato 1 threw some balls, but I removed them as soon as I saw them, I'll keep watching it!

April 18: Thank you MSNL seeds for the package i germinated as soon they got here 😄 So i start with 2 strains in my small tent, then when the 4x4 is free i will pump it full too with all of these for a few crops, cheers April 23: they both above ground now April 20: the seeds have roots and are now planted in 2 liter pots

This strain was easy to grow right from seed. I think it will be one of my favourite strains this grow. Time to dry and cure. I will report the weight when dry. 💚✌️🏼

start of week 2 veg, i put an aquarium heater in my res to keep the temp 21 celcius also added an extra airpump in the res with the waterpump roots are already in the water i used CFL so far i might hang my led above them now

Transplanted into final 5 gal. fabric pits. with LOTS of good root growth. Bottom half of pots are homebrew super soil, with the top half being mix of HPCC promix and worm castings. More to come!

Day 52-64 (Day 54) I’m going to thoroughly inspect each plant and remove bananas if found. So far it’s only been the one on #7 but I don’t want to take a chance. I’m also going to give a watering with some runoff. (Day 55) Can’t find anymore bananas but that one. I will probably find a few bag seeds but who knows. It’s way too late for pollen to really have effect anyway. These 5 plants finish nice and early compared to my other tent flipped on the same day. I would never take this strain 65+ days like last time. I would do 56-60 days next time I flower this strain (Day 58) Holy shit this tent is fading like crazy now. They are starting to show some beautiful autumn colors. #1 #5 and #7 are definitely done. #3 and #6 could use a little more time so I’ve decided to take them down on the 24th. I haven’t seen anymore bananas and the one that popped out on #7 has shriveled up and receded. (Day 63) I’m seeing what look like seed pods starting to form in some of the main colas on my picture perfect pheno. #7 is showing 3 or 4 little bananas too. All of the top buds are definitely done so I’m going to harvest as soon as the lights come on tomorrow. I’m going to give one last watering right now and then harvest. I’ve noticed that harvesting a watered plant will extend the dry time by a few days and that’s exactly what I’m looking for. A nice slow dry. Plants are being full plant hung + dry trimmed and tent is being kept at 60-65 degrees and 60-65% RH. Cutting everything down was a pain in the ass. I had to individually cut each square the scrog net so it wouldn’t contract and squish all the buds. I chopped down my other tent as well so I have no other plants in flower right now.

The Critical Mass CBD is lookimg good, tric's are clouding up. Keeping flushing with straight tap water. I am not ph'n the water, I figure this is the end and nute lockout should not matter. Would like to know everyone's thoughts on that. I am still waiting for some amber tric's before harvest, looks like it may be another week yet to harvest. Surprised by how well the water is wicked to the medium from the water bottle, it took a long time, but wick works as intended. I was unsure how much if any nutrient would be transferred via wick but the high salt content altered pH at certain parts. Right before the symptoms arose I decided to supercrop the stem top to bottom on one plant, shortly thereafter the burning happened from the same plant from running 8.0 pH, and nutrient uptake ground to a halt on the plant that was dealing with stress. She doesn't seem happy. Remedied with aluminum sulfate, things seem to be coming back to normal. I need to be more careful with salts. I need MOAR knowledge. How many weeks shall we veg? Going to take a while to fill that canopy with just two plants, should probably start topping now but I'll wait until pH problem Is remedied first, a couple more days hopefully 🙏. I defoliated maybe 6 bigger leaves that had burned yellow on one plant, as it comes back to optimal range, this will be a good opportunity to observe the subtle differences that early defoliation can make. Added a pound of tourmaline powder and biochar, both increase soil urease and invertase activities. *2025 Didn't charge the biochar skewing my ph drastically. Urease is an enzyme that catalyzes the hydrolysis of urea into CO2 and NH3 and is a key component in the nitrogen cycle in soils. Invertase (d-fructofuranosidfructohydrolase, EC 3.2.1.26) is the enzyme that capable both break down α-1,4-glycosidic linkage between d-glucose and d-fructose of sucrose and transferring αβ-D-O-fructofuranoside residue to an acceptor substrate (Toledo et al., 2019).
