This is the before picture of when i went on vacation for a week to what I came back to. Needless to say I was ecstatic! My very first buds grown all by myself! I am germinating a 4th plant be this week as I had an 0/3 on germinating Gorilla Cookies from Herbies. I'm starting to grow 1 more Amnesia Haze in the tent this week as well.

Heavy defoliation taking place this week as I am trying to expose the bud sites to more lights. I am taking out most major fan leaves and leaves that are blocking bug sights. I also somewhat lilipopped these plants to remove the larfy bud sites that we being produced at the bottom of the plant to focus more top bud site growth.

Day 29 - she grows very well a. the shape of the plant has been formed b. our environment is a bit hot, but the lady is growing very well after defoliation, trying to control the humidity, at night it goes down to 50%. c. added 2L of nutrient solution mixed at double strength to get the PH up to 6.5, and the ppm to 600, was liberal with the Mineral Magic. d. growth of the main has slowed just a bit as expected, the outer branches though are rising outward Day 30 - growth explosion a. she is growing well, leaving ventilation opened all the way up, humidity at 50%, heat is a bit high 29c, our region is very hot right now, I added more yeast to the CO2 generator, instantly started bubbling up again. Will keep the CO2 in there directed toward the plant. b. ill be increasing the Mineral Magic as I go, adding Silica to any plant allows for them to withstand heat better c. it seems my plant likes the 6.2 PH the best, the breeder recommends 6.5, but with DWC, it needs to be a little lower, 6 would probably be best. Day 31 - growing well a. there is growth all over the plant, she is very compact, but very vigorous b. temperatures are around 28, humidity hanging aroung 55 with all vents opened up to lower temps Day 32 - another growth explosion a. she is taking off big time b. environment is stable at 27 degrees and 55% humidity c. removed the 2 largest fan leaves to allow light to now evenly hit the entire plant Day 33 - growth observed all over a. all is well, added 1L of double strength nutrients to the DWC Day 34 - explosion occured a. she has exploded her 4 branches out the sides, its still so young... b. the DWC is running well, letting the PH hang right at 6 Day 35 - wow a. the plant is doing very well b. removed 2 main stem leaves to open coverage for branch growth c. added 2L of plain mineral water to the DWC, ppm 600

Thc bomb started a flush and fade yesterday. Working its way to a finish. Smell is very pleasant and I am looking forward to the harvest in 2 weeks. Rainy week, no need to fertilize or to water the plants. The are growing fast and very tall, despite it should be small one, the tallest ones are from seeds I found in my Baby Boom last year that could be a good explanation. I give a bit more of fertilizer and I started with the Boost + for the flowers.

Start of week 8 and the lady developed nicely. Buds are getting more compact. Leaves are already frosty. First leaves getting light green, yellow. I will feed the lady with BioBizz nutrients to see, how she will develop. Harvest getting closer and the first pistils get brown. I think 3-4 weeks left. Keep in touch ! Cheers, HighZenBerg

Great week again...work effort was like 3h whole week...only had to refill NS (+-20L every 2 days) Buds getting fatter every day...no brown pistrills yet so budgrowth is still in full effect PH was very stable again, 6.1-6.2 all week EC fell slighty before refilling NS I think EC 1.3 could be a bit too much for them...leaves are quite darkgreen and they start to get nuteburn on tips...but i'll leave it at 1.3 for the rest of the grow I decided that i won't exchange NS completely anymore...will leave it be till i replace it with pure water in 2 weeks (will be a 3 week cycle then) Roots look great + i put in 15g of TNT Bactorr, water temp is at 20-21° so no need to worry about rot till the end of the grow i think

Overall I’m happy with how the Blue Dream from Crop Kings came out, despite losing one plant to some odd characteristics likely brought on by being a new grower, but upon receiving input from others, the genetics of that particular plant may have been a little off. I picked a small bud 1 week prior to harvest, and let it dry for 5 days, the wife and I smoked it while camping and thoroughly enjoyed the high it produced. Obviously the on the scale weight is way off at 1338 G, lots of moisture and tons of stem weight. Will update with a total next week when drying is complete. After drying for a week I have now jarred and weighed the final result, and the final tally is 140.77 g or 4.969oz. A very energetic and long lasting high.

WEEK 1 - 23/7/2021 - 30/7/2021 My 6th grow! I've managed to finally build a reliable RDWC system. It has been put on hold for nearly a year now. My primary concern is flooding when I'm not around. Another if there is any blackout affecting the water/air pump.  I've had the system on test run for a week now and it has been fantastic. No leak whatsoever! I'm so glad I decided to go with all PVC pipes and bulkheads rather than using vinyl tubing for the waterfall outlet. So far so good! Can't wait to transplant into the system. :) 20/7/2021 - 2 packs  of Harlequin seeds from Weedseedexpress (5 + 1), 12 seeds soaked in 10ml/L of Nitrozyme for the next 24 hours. 21/7/2021 - All 12 seeds transferred to paper towel and soaked with Nitrozyme and placed in humidity dome. 23/7/2021 - Only 5 out of 12 seeds germinated. But all 12 transplanted to small rockwool cubes, soaked with Nitrozyme mix water then placed in humidity dome. I accidentally cut one of the cotyledon while removing the shell. 27/7/2021 - 1L of water mixed with the following: Rapid start - 1ml/gal - 0.3ml Hydroguard - 2ml/gal - 0.5ml 30/7/2021 - It has been a slow start and the seedlings have been showing signs of nutrient burn. Out of 12 seeds only 4 properly germinated and even that is showing issues. I don't have a good feeling about these seed genetics. I'll give another week to see the growth response.

WEEK 2 - 31/7/2021 - 6/8/2021 1/8/2021 - 1L of water mixed with the following: Cal Mag - 2.5ml/gal - 0.7ml Micro - 2.25ml/gal - 0.6ml Gro - 2.25ml/gal - 0.6ml Bloom - 0.6ml/gal - 0.2ml Rapid start - 1ml/gal - 0.3ml pH - 6.07 EC - 1.03 mS.cm T - 26 The 4 seedlings are still showing signs of growth but the leaves are droopy and has malnutrition issue. I really hope they get back on track with the new nutrient regime. 2/8/2021 - 4 seedlings transplanted to larger 3 x 3 inch rockwool cubes to allow the seedlings to establish its roots first before transplanting to the RDWC system. 6/8/2021 - 2 plants are relatively normal looking but the other 2 looks deformed. I'm quite unhappy with the seed performance thus far. Poor germination rate, inconsistent genetics and weird phenotype. I wonder where Weedseedexpress sourced the Harlequin seeds from.

They had 48 hrs of darkness, and the time has come to say goodbye to my friends. I thanked them again, spend some time with them, and under the sound of Amazonian shaman's harvest and healing songs (will post link), asked for their gifts, and apologized for taking their lives. I do this while in contact with the plants, touching, smelling them, observing every detail, no thoughts, just in the present moment. I feel emotional as I do this and remember how they were a companion, a source of distraction in a time of worry, sadness, and loss. How they already comforted me and kept me company in a time of painful insights about honesty, commitment, and staying true to myself. I thank them again for their wisdom and gifts, viva Santa Maria, viva Planta Maestra, may the mother of all beings give us healing and protection. And I proceed with the harvest as I visualize my intentions with every cut. Branch by bud laden branch is tenderly untangled from the scrog net, taken with a clean-cut and immediately hung upside down in the grow tent, which will now double as a curing and drying room. A couple more weeks and we will have the final cured and dried weight. More photos and movies will follow, this is where we are so far!! Big hug, lots of love and take care! ***UPDATE*** The final weigh-in is ready. I hadn't seen them in a week, because of my vacation. The humidifier I set up, had failed. So the grow had dried in 7 days, what I wanted to be 14 at least. Thankfully, its Sativa ancestry shines through, the smoke isn't harsh, the buds a sticky and smelly, no hay smell at all. We ended up at 246 grams, excluding a shitload of larf and popcorn bud, totaling at 310 grams all in, a first at a gram per watt for me, but for the Zambeza seed competition, I stated we would only weigh the quality bud. Overall I'm very happy!! Guessed weights in the competition: - @hashy : 0 grams - @MrHyde : 198 grams - @JamMAKEcan : 224 grams - @TrickOrTrip : 260 grams - @Greeneysgrow: 312.5 grams - @Ohey_fu_kyu: 350 grams - @Puffs4Pipes: 385 grams - @Hempkid : 605 grams - @DoDrugs420 : 621 grams TrickorTrip was closest!! I smoke for medical reasons and it's used for ritual and healing purposes, never to be sold, as it loses its magical properties. Should I have to buy Gelato of this quality at the dispensary that I frequent, it would cost me at least € 15,-- per gram. 246 x 15 = 3690 euros. also, 49 car rides of 25 miles there and back, 250 euros in gas saved.
