Second week of flower and I defoliated again. There are small bud sites starting to form at the end of week two flower. The apple fritter has fascination which is making the stems grow interestingly with lots of bud sites.

New week, new growth.. Will hopefully start the LST and Topping in a few days. They are really starting to grow. Fan leaves looking healthy and big. Girls coming with vigorous growth now, everything dialled in and happy. Just adjusting the EC/pH as needed when the girls show me the relevant signs/deficiencies if any. D31/D35- Decided they were in a good enough place to start topping the girls, all 6 topped and just some defoliation of the bigger fan leaves that are shading the growth shoots some HST was also done. We were also due a water change, so I cleaned the whole system just to keep things extra cleanly, very important in a RDWC system. I also switched over to a sterile system instead of using beneficial bacteria so I will experiment and see how this goes. Time to let the girls ecover before the next training session. Cruise control for now.

Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. And hello to you who read my diary, I just want to say that I am pleased that you have chosen to check in with me and in my diary. I do this for myself and for a steady flow of my medicine. Everything you read and see in my diary is 100% honest and I will never distort or beautify anything here. I document my crops so that I can learn from my mistakes and also to look back at those different crops. I try to update with pictures every day and with text if something special has happened in the garden. This is my strainhunt for the best medicine and the beginning of my journey with cannabis and the cultivation of it. This is my second feminised cultivation ever. First, I'm just going to say something about my grow room. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps for bloom. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. Solid week of growth and development. Temperature, humidity were solid and dialed all week. Both plants were defoliated and trained towards the beginning of the week. They bounced back quickly and started to pack on weight which led me to look into trellis. I don’t like that you can’t move the plants once the trellis is set and that it’s stupid pieces of plastic. We’ll see how many times I can re-use the trellis before it’s trashed 🙄. That said, I can already see the benefits. It really helped me even out the canopy and lower a few stubborn colas as well as open the lower levels to more light. Nice. I’ll be investing in some biodegradable trellis in the future if I like the results. I started using Fish Shit! between feedings to condition the soil. So far, so good. As for the clones, I used hardware store rooting hormone instead of a high quality gel or powder rooting hormone. You get what you pay for . . . I also think I’ve kept my growing medium too moist. I’ve had one clone root and transferred. I’ve been trying to dry the medium out a touch. Hopefully I get at least two more rooted within the next few days. This upcoming week I’ll continue the nutrient regiment and begin the pk boost for weeks 4, 5, and 6.

Stopped feeding this week. I'm pretty sure they should be ready to chop in a week or 2. I hate looking at them with my microscope so I've gotten pretty good a judging when they are finished. I love ILGM. They always come thru with solid genetics!!
