She’s flourishing great!! One of the quickest plants I’ve ever flowered no doubt! From the minute she was induced she took off like a rocket buds are dense and frosty n should be finishing up any week now! Very pungent almost citrus like odor from the plant but you smell the blueberries as well almost like a ripening one it’s very distinct, but smells delicious among the other aromas.

All right so here we are and again I am shocked by how much abuse this girl has taken not only by me but by the medium it originated in which killed another plant so this girl at a young age had to be tough and that willingness to live and resilience has gotten us to where we are today.. WEEDSEEDSEXPRESS big thank you to you as this grow has been 24 years in the making.. since an amateur grower in Bridgeport Connecticut very close to where I was born handed this clone over to someone who has kept it alive for all these years and not only am I able to smoke it but I'm able to grow it how awesome is that... Back in 2000 I was 14 at the time and I had a subscription to high times that my mom got me and my room walls were covered with bud shots and posters one of them being a centerfold of strawberry cough and it has been something since that day I have yearn for.. as you guys can see she's coming along great and I couldn't be happier... I think in the future I'm not going to train so much because it just takes so much time for the plant to recoup and I'd much rather have a 3-month grow than a 5 month.. but because of what it is I will make an exception this time I don't care if it took 7 months this has been like I said a long time coming... final weeks flowering

Week 8 +-, She got another cleanup, removing lower leaves and branches. I always keep the lower third of my plants clean, especially with hydro plants it helps with ariation. Feeding is still the same as before, no changes, its just a case of refill the res every 3 days +- and change and clean res every 7 days roughly. This rythm will continue till we hit a later stage of flower where we will add Green Sensation.

High GD growers, Shes still looking good in terms of colours. Very small bud at the top starting. Lets see if she can get true winter and Reveg in spring. 🙏🌿🌿🌿🙏

I treated the plant with a long series of fertilizers and various boosters, I will list them all in the last week, now I have been running water for 12 hours a day for about 10 days .. I think a final wash does not exist better than this.

This week I worked on hardening the clones. I got them used to 40% RH pretty quickly. My grow set up is subject to some pretty crazy swings from the weather. Outside, it went from 16% to 45% and back to 24% in one week. Going easy with the light for another week at about 180-200 µmol/m2/s. I'm not going to push any parameters until I get them through the transplant. So far so good. When I saw the first roots I jumped up and down and did a bunch of spastic air fist pumps. 😂

So here we are Growmies, we arrived at the long-awaited flowering period. Basically this week wasn’t as busy as the previous ones. I stopped tucking branches at the end of the week so she can just focus on the stretch from now. At the beginning of the week we changed the solution as the DWC was almost empty, this means she drunk almost 10 litres last week.💦👨‍🌾🏻 It seems the leaf discolouration is totally gone so thanks to everyone for the tips. 👊🏻 That's why I love this community, I can always count on you growmies if I need help.🙏🌞 I could already see some pre flowering signs 7 days after the switch so that’s super fast imo. Running the TSW2000 at 45% around 30cm above the canopy. Wasn’t at home for a few days and only made a few shots this week. Hope everyone is having a great week. Y creo que viene buena producción Recomiendo 100% los fertilizantes hesi buenísimos. 5 cultivos con ellos y 0 problemas. El sustrato Biobizz light mix excelente Las semillas de barneys farm uff pura crema. Eva seeds recomendables y las sweed seeds buenisimas semillas para seguir cultivando. Los Led yxo para ser de un perfil bajo qué no a toda la gente les gusta cumplen la. Función 480w de pura potencia en un espacio de 120x120 los recomiendo para gente que tenga un presupuesto bajo. Ahora voy por unos sobre 600w aunque los reforzaría estos con unos led de 100w . Bueno feliz con los resultados. Esta semana mostraré los resultados de las plantas cortadas. Note: At time of writing the Runtz has had 2 weeks cure, will update the review and rate it after 2+ months cure. Hermied a bit, has very few seeds so not too bad. Growth review: - vigorous grower during veg - solid stretch - medium internode distance - small sized buds - lower buds not too airy - very easy/not fussy - medium amount of smell - 80+ days flower (12/12) in hydro DWC under full spectrum led - responded well to various lst techniques Ease of growth rating: 9/10 General note: --> For me personally this strain NEEDS a good cure and is not worth smoking yet... It has a bit of a citrus grassy (not hay) taste, with some 'special' fruity smells to it that remind a bit of grapes/cassis. When grinding/opening the curing pots there is a pretty dank heavy weed smell so I think the quality will come out after a few months of cure... In its current state not worth smoking for the taste or effect after 14 days cure. --> Currently the effect is not very strong, easy to handle and I need a lot to feel a bit. The effect lasts for short compared to the average strains I smoke. Should develop more character with a longer cure. Hash making notes: - water extraction of the trim yielded 16g of hash (45mc-220mc) - rosin has a bit too much of a weird spicy grassy taste which make it a bit unpleasant, waiting till the buds improve with cure to try again - rosin color at 80c is yellow/white/beige creamy waxy, with hard consistency - rosin color at 95c is golden with hard consistency
