Hello, fin de semaine 4 de croissance. Toujours une grosse différence entre les 5 plantes. Ce qui m’encourage à travailler la bouture pour les prochaines fois, pour ne plus avoir une telle différence 😞 J’ai donc réalisé un topping sur 3 plantes, les plus grandes. Et aussi une défoliation pour laisser la lumière atteindre les parties basses qui demande à grandir. Ce qui semble plutôt bien fonctionné pour l’instant. Pour le moment il n’y a plus rien à faire, juste les laisser récupérer et se développer. J’avais poussé mon ec jusque 1.7, mais j’ai l’impression que c’est trop fort compte tenu de leur stade, je suis donc repassé à 1.5/1.6. Nous verrons si elles réagisse bien. J’ai aussi changé la lampe. Je suis passé sur la slim600h à 50%, soit 300w à 100cm. Elles semblent apprécier. Voilà c’est tout pour cette semaine... Happy grow...😎

Day 56 New Rez change, partial drain and RO fill up. 125 Liters. 200PPM, ph 5.9 First day flush. Will flush again in 3 days to get to 80ppm. Day 59 Drained res, added florakleen and RO... PPM sub 100. Day 61 Drained the reservoir, added 100L new RO water, no florakleen. Pure RO at 20 PPM. Should be the last drink they get. I was going to harvest tomorrow on day 62, but trichrome inspection is only showing about 5% amber. I wanted to try and get a little more ambers this run. (Note for next run, keep nutrients till day 63, then start flush). Seems to be slower to ripen with this phenotype, hopefully not too much longer. Will chop Monday likely, possibly Tuesday... who knows!? Also, dropped lights on to like 10.5 hours and lowered the light wattage to the minimum.

I provided you with a close up video of each plant and one video where i go through tent and try to focus some nice buds individually.. Dont have anything important to share here but that i started flushing 5 days ago with a mild solution of 400 ppm - terpinator and mammoth. She has very nice hash smell, she will produce a very nice smoke and hash as i ordered those bubblebags.. All girls are coated with resin and so damn sticky, her branches started to fall down so i had to tie them to hold each other. Waiting for them trichomes to turn amber as i want her true indica experience.

The weather in my country suddenly got warmer unexpectedly. That's why I'm having problems with the temperature. Still, it seems to be going well for now. I watered on the 51st day. I will do it again today and with full fertilizer.

How did you create/breed Freakshow? A. Methodical selection, line breeding, and culling is the short answer. Read our About page for more details. Q. Is it an indoor or outdoor type? A. Everything I've ever worked has been outdoors, including of course Freakshow. It has been our experience that outdoor (or sun grown, as it's recently being referred to) cultivars seem to perform extremely well under artificial conditions. The exact heritage of any cultivar today is impossible to determine accurately. Also, considering the amount of continuous shameless hybridization that has occurred in the last 40 yrs., any modern kind could easily contain over 40 kinds. In the case of Freakshow, it's much more limited because the ancestry is largely older "Sativas" that didn't go through as much outcrossing. In the 70s in Santa Cruz, Haze was a favorite among surfers for the pure energy and I still have (greatly improved) stock of it around, simply because even when I made hybrids with it I always kept the original in pure form for obvious reasons. Q. What is the psychoactive effect like? A. Like the flavors, many people have commented that the "buzz" is somewhat different than other mainstream types out there. It's not entirely out of the scope of imagination that given that this strain has new alleles in so many other respects, that it could also contain new, unique cannabinoids, as well as new and unique terpenoids, some of which may not even be among the standard 16 or so that the average lab is testing for. Aside from the up, cerebral, energetic boost, some report a mild time/space warp effect. Creativity and idea induction should be mentioned, for sure. Freakshow has the pure energy effect and greatly alters perception to the positive side, so definitely destroys depression. Appetite suppression is a side effect, but the enjoyment of food is enhanced. I personally will attest to all of the above. We all have different receptor profiles, so these are just generalizations. And if anyone can attest to the extreme level of resistance it seems to have we'd love to hear about that as well. Q. Does it contain web-leaf genetics? A. I thought I better clarify this because there are a few people thinking that because of an article "Growing Marijuana that Doesn't look like Marijuana" that mentions that I had worked web-leaf types years ago and had eventually turned that into Freakshow. This is incorrect and I'm needing to get ahold of the writer to have him change it. When I read the piece and saw the mistake I figured it didn't matter that much, that the actual method of breeding could just remain a "trade secret". Recently, I noticed online that a posting, "Freakshow only exists because of duckfoot" by Curious Cannabis Connoisseur, where he explains how I developed Freakshow using Duckfoot. Let me explain, about 20 yrs. ago a friend gave me a jar of seeds labeled "BC Bigbud" and I sprouted flats of hundreds to look for oddities and had found one web-leaf pheno which we named Webster. It was a female so I bred it to a normal leaf male and began selecting and stabilizing a line of Webster. About 5 or 6 generations later I had nailed it to 100% webs and had also stabilized it for a deep purple color and a nice "gingerbread" terp profile. I was busy working other lines at that point so I put Webster in the library. Also, I was having a hell of a time getting a pheno of it that flowered to my satisfaction. (it seemed to finish with a limited number of calyxes). I knew I would have to outcross it to something with a big tasty bud and restabilize it for web-leaf, and I no longer had the original BC Bigbud. I still have the Webster seeds, and trust me the thought has crossed my mind to make the cross with Freakshow, but why? Why mess around crossing things just to create something even weirder? I have heard that the "Duckfoot" also doesn't bud up well so maybe there's a correlation there. Anyway, people can do what they want to and I will too, but crossing Freakshow with some low-THC crap like ABC is in my opinion idiotic. I worked extremely hard stabilizing and perfecting a beautiful new subspecies and I believe it should be kept pure. I won't go on a rant here about the rampant crossing and the lack of line-breeding in the cannabis world in the last several decades, or where this will eventually lead us, but I will say that it's not in a good direction. Bottom line....Freakshow has no web-leaf genes, it was made using top-grade tropical narrow-leaf drug (NLD) cultivars. Q.Why is Freakshow patented? A. Although I and most others (including all the folks at HSC) believe in and subscribe to the concept of "open sourcing" because sharing in cannabis genetics was always the cultural norm, it was decided that Freakshow should be protected (1) because it is a novel and unique, not a preexisting strain (or even subspecies), (2) To keep the greedy corporate big boys from exploiting it, (3) To maintain control of the genetic refinement of it in all future generations. Smell of the plant is amazing. Smells like red Berries. Buds got huge and medium dense. I only harvested the 3 main buds as they are developed the most. The rest of the plant can stay for one more week. I Also removed some dead leaves.

Ph controlado, temperatura y humedad dentro de los parámetros correctos, 1 de los 2 ejemplares que quedan recibirá un lavado de raíces pronto, la otra seguiremos abonándola una o 2 semanas más. La próxima semana nos vemos familia.

Most aphids went away, seen just few here and there, give another pesticides spray today, that should kill rest of them. Feed the girls with compost tea + liquid sea weed + alga grow and sprinkle gypsum powder top dress.

First off I believe the strain name is wrong. It should be just FF03 but I’ll need to check with fastbuds. These are photo period test genetics from fastbuds and the FF stands for fast flower. They are supposed to be done in 50-60 days of flowering. I’m going to let them do their thing for a minimum of 40 days just to be sure they don’t have ruderalis. This is a brand new setup I built with floraflex 6” pot pro using coco and I’ll be testing their nutrients out as well. That being said they are about 10 days old but I’ve been so busy I haven’t had time to get the diary going. Thanks for looking :)

Zur Ernte selbst: Yep, alles in Ordnung. Überraschend war sie gar nicht crispy. Na klar ein paar Blätter, aber der Rest und vor allem die Knospen waren aber schön saftig. Harzig nicht sehr klebend, denn diese Trichome sind so hart, das sie abbrechen. Ob das gut ist? Ja. Begründung: da ist weniger Wasser, mehr Harz dein. Nur frisches Harz klebt. Schaut euch nen Baum an. Altes Harz kann Mann heraus schlagen, fast so hart wie Glas. Bei frischen kleben die Finger. Macht's trotzdem, das riecht super. Aber nicht an den Klamotten abwischen. Die sind sonst ruiniert. Zum Geruch: Äh überraschenderweise ziemlich zurückhaltend, aber ich habe auch keine der Knospen geöffnet. Wahrscheinlich wird der Geruch von diesen Trichomen, die sehr eng beieinander sitzen eingeschlossen. Meine Tendenz liegt ohne Rauchbericht bei 9 Punkten. Pflanze gut, Buds gut, Jetzt noch Geschmack... 12.01. Oh, das hatte ich vergessen zu erwähnen. Dieser Grow lief unter verschärften Bedingungen. Stealth mit wenig Frischluft. Sie hat eine Invasion von Spinnmilben abgewehrt, durch ne andere Pflanze übertragen. Later: ich habe ne Knospe geknackt. Erst dran gerieben. Es roch nach Heu. Ungläubig und etwas Enttäuscht knackte ich ne Knospe. Puff, wie in einer Wolke aus Duft. Oh, das Riecht aber stark, und gut. Das habe ich nicht erwartet nach dem äußeren Geruch. Definitiv keine Geruchs Stealth Sorte. Eher HALLO NACHBARN MEIN NAME IST CANDY RAIN. OH😳 So heftig? Ja. Der Geruch ist schwerlich zu beschreiben. Ungefähr so: erdig mentholig mit keine Ahnung gelato Haschisch Aromen? Nicht unangenehm aber überraschend stark und ausgeprägt. Das habe ich so nicht erwartet. Aber wer lesen kann, es folgt ein original Auszug Wenn Du Cannabis mit köstlich fruchtigen Düften und Aromen sowie einem ordentlichen THC-Kick magst, hast Du mit Candy Rain einen neuen Favoriten gefunden.
