bananomet Hello firends.
Finally 6 months after semi-legalization in my country, I can freely start posting here on Growdiaries. This will be my third grow in new - bigger tent and under stronger grow lights.
Seeds took their sweet time cracking. They´ve been dropped into a cup with dechlorinated tap water on saturday 23. 05. 2026. Finally cracked open on tuesday 26. 05. (I was a little bit worried by then) and planted into the final pot with pre-moisten soil (80ml dechlorinated tap water + a little bit of root juice) on wednesday 27. 05.
Photos are from today - friday 29. 05. and I already love these little cute babies.
Interestingly, the seed planted in the left pot was a little bit bigger, darker, it cracked before the other one and is growing a smidge faster.
I´ve been struggling with keeping temperatures in my appartment under 30C. The moment I open the windows, humidity comes crashing down into 30-40 % range. Today I´ve finally managed to get RH up to 50 % by blasting humidifier at 100 % power for the last 3 days and temperature fluctuates between 27-29C.
The humidity domes have been removed and I´ll post an update next week.
Update:
Setup photos uploaded.
Air is humidified in the small 60x60 tent and goes via pipe into the main tent. I was able to keep better RH this way and saved some space in the small tent and money thanks to the shared circuit as well. Air moves from all the way bottom left of the room to the vent unit, which hangs all the way to the right of the room and exhausts trough the ceiling hole.
I would like to highly recommend the Gardena pressure watering can. It works from any angle and is suitable up until the end of vegetation. Doesn´t require electricity. Just give it a few pumps with your hand and that´s it. It spreads water evenly and precisely without oversaturation of the soil. I got it for 500CZK which is about 20EUR. Money well spent.

bananomet Development looks healthy. Both got 200ml of water with a little bit more root juice on monday. They'll recieve another 200ml, when the substrate dries up a bit more (tomorrow morning).
Still struggling with humidity, but managed to stabilize it around 50 %. The VPD is not ideal, but it's the best my careful ventilation schedule and the 12 year old humidifier running at 100 % power could do. 😂
No worries, I plan on buying the AC Infinity CLOUDFORGE T5 along with AC Infinity CONTROLLER 69 PRO in 14 days after paycheck day.👍
Lights are kept at 25 % of power @45cm height. These lights sadly don't have gradual power selector. Only on/off / 25 / 50 / 75 / 100%.
However the difference between P600 and XS2000 is already noticeable. I've grown BigBang AUTO and Amnesia Haze AUTO prior under P600 light and was wondering why my early vegetation leaves curl and twist axially. I have Milky Way F1 in the neighboring tent under P600 and it already show signs of the same leaf curl. It's clearly caused by the light. Different light spectrum composure I guess?
Light schedule 17/7. My plants wake up and go to sleep with me. I don't trust the cheap automation outlets and quality ones are almost non-existent on domestic market. Rather keep 17/7 entire grow, than let my appartment burn down.
Update 05. 06.↓
Uploaded new set of photos.
Rain arrived during the night and I guess my little babies heard it and grew some new leaves.
Lower stems are a bit thin. I added a bit of silica today along with 200ml of water.
Photos updated.
Gotta say, the only overwhelming smell right now is the basil plant, which started blooming? 😭 I guess it's time to make pesto. The new lights are crazy man...
Update 07. 06.↓
Uploaded new set of photos.
They look better in person, gotta get a newer phone with a better camera. 😊
I gave each one 700ml of water this week. The pot was dry every other day.
Managed to finally get RH up to 70 % with maximum effort on my part.

bananomet Now entering veg week number 2, so far so good I´d say. Some slight leaf discoloration from rapid growth. I´ll ramp up the watering tomorrow morning to about 400ml per plant and keep the adding root juice and silica until the end of this week.
Root juice IMO is the best bottle out of the entire BioBizz line. This stuff really works. Unlike the BioGrow, which I don´t have good things to say about at all. I will be substituting it with FishMix for this grow. It´s too early to add N, thanks to the allmix bottom layer nutrient buffer.
Instead of AC Infinity T5 humidifier and the 69 Pro controller, I decided to invest in a 14k BTU AC mobile unit from the wonderful German company Klarstein. Should arrive either at the end of the week or early next week. Hoping to stabilize daytime room temps to 26C and with that stabilize the fluctuating VPD as well. Not to mention the QOL improvement to myself. But you know, I am doing it mainly for the plants. 😊
Update follows in a few days.
Update 10. 06.
Time flies, it´s already wednesday and the growth is steady. Watered with 400ml of water, since the soil was almost completely dry.
New photos uploaded.
I´ve discovered "professional" photo mode on my phone, so I should be able to give you better - non AI processed - quality photos.
Update 13. 06.
Height of the plants doubled since wednesday. Their trunk is getting pretty thick considering it´s only end of the 2nd veg week. I´ll start with LST tonight, before they go to sleep. Watered with 800ml of water, but it still looks like they could have taken more than that. Let´s be conservative for now though.
Lights bumped up to 50 % of power and sit 55cm above the canopy.
New photos uploaded.
AC unit arrived yesterday and I´ll set it up today. Starting tomorrow, plants should recieve stable 26°C climate for the rest of their lives. 👍
Edit 14. 06.
I went to turn off the lights last night and realized, that the light above the right plant has been accidentally running at 75 % of power. As a result, the pots dried up quickly. Woke up today to bone dry pots and had to water again. This time each got 1 liter of water. I also added a little bit of activera to help them recover from stress. Right plant took it nicely and grew 1cm more than the plant on the left.
Prepared them for LST in the morning with stakes. Cut off 2 fan leaves from each plant that were touching the mois soil as a result.
Switched the stakes for the adjustable bendies I got from Kaufland store (sort of functions like Amazon) in the afternoon. Trying them out for the first time and I like them more than ropes and wires with clips. Now I will let them recover for a few days from all the stress.
AC wasn´t needed today, because temps outside are like 15°C with rain. Got a nice 21°C temp today in the lung room and 25°C in the tent.
New photos and a video uploaded.

bananomet I would like to warn everyone about the bendies. The edges are very sharp. I'll have to sand them down. Unfortunately, the plants were superficially cut as they grew. I readjusted with bigger ones.
It appears as though they got a bit stressed from all that. Water consumption slowed down and the pots are still quite heavy. Mainly on the bottom of the pot where allmix is. I haven't watered them since sunday. Growth is also slow. Gonna have to let them recover for now.
Apical dominance has not been fully broken, but I don't want to stress the plants even more. Think I'll go with the classic wire/clip method next time. Worked well in my last 2 grows.
Edit 17. 06.
Alright. Looks like they recovered since sunday. I have not watered them yet though. The soil on the bottom is still a bit moist. They´ll recieve some water tomorrow. Have to be more gentle with them right now.
New photos uploaded.
Edit 18. 06.
They woke up vigorously today. Apical dominance broken.
Watered with 800ml of plain water as the pots were already light and the top soil was turning into dust.
Klarstein AC is putting some work. From 31C in the room to 26C within an hour. Best investment I´ve made NGL.
Readjusted the bendies on the main branch. Gonna hold on with LST on other branches for now.
Took off a few lowest fan leaves, because they were dipping into the soil.
New photos uploaded.
Detailed photo of damage on the main branch the bendie has made.
Update 20. 06.
Soil was bone dry. Watered with 1L of plain water this afternoon.
Readjusted and added more LST clips.
Height before LST was 29cm. Not bad for week 3 of veg.
Think they are about to start flowering. What do you think?
New pair of photos uploaded.
I´ll see you next week.✋

bananomet Trimmed their bush to allow better airflow and light penetration. Basically stripped them of all foliage 10-15cm above the soil and a few higher fan leaves were removed as well.
They are definetly in pre-flower, but not in flower quite yet. Hence the close up photo to show, that the bright strings are not pistils, but tiny leaf growth.
Adjusted some LST clips and added new ones to level out the cannopy.
1200ml of plain water today. May or may not start adding some BB FishMix later this week. We´ll see. But I guess the bottom BB AllMix soil layer is doing all the fertilization for me for now.
32cm after LST in veg week 4 is not bad IMO and the cut damage is turning into a hefty knuckle.

Update 24. 06.
Hello, it is I, Doofus the 3rd! 👺 I've been cleaning all my water containers of residue with citric acid 2 days ago and forgot to finish and refill with plain water and let it stabilize overnight. Came home from work to bone dry pots without any water prepared. But they needed to drink. So I filled a bucket with cold water, added 1ml/Liter of BB ActiVera for stress relief and BB CalMag as a preventative measure to heat stress. Let the bucket water stabilize itself in the tent over the course of 3 hours. Final EC = 0,35ms at 26C. No biggie. Each got 2000ml of water.
Defoliated them some more in the meanwhile and added new LST clips. The left one seems more vigorous than the right one. More maleable, leaves and branches are bigger. But you know, I always cheered for the underdog. I am sure neither of them will dissapoint me.
I am still unsure if they are in flower. All the bright strings on the tops keep turning into leaves. There are pair of preflowers on each of the branches, which have been there for the last 10 days, but I don't think that constitutes as full flower. Therefore keeping this week still marked as "veg".

Quick update 25. 06.
They both started full flower today.
Diary week changed to - flowering.
---
Update 27. 06.
Topped the pot with more light mix because it has compacted too much.
2L of water with 1ml/l of BB FishMix.
Heavier defoliation today before the stretch.
New photos uploaded and I see you next week.

bananomet Not much is happening other than the current heat wave.
Had to install carbon filter since they started smell a bit.
Noticed the roots growing trough the bottom of the pot. Maybe I left the runoff collection plate too wet for too long.
I´ll water tomorrow or the day after tomorrow

Update 04. 07.
Foliage growth slowed down. I haven´t touched them all week.
Will water each with 2L of water today again.
+ 1ml/l FishMix
+ 1ml/l BioBloom
+ 2ml/l ActiVera
+ 2ml/l Silica
For reference my tap water comes out at 7.0pH and about 0,15-0,20mS/cm. BioBizz naturally lowers the pH on its own. I don´t have to fiddle with pH at all. And yes, the pH meter is always properly calibrated and the probe stored in KCL solution.
Lowest fan leaves are yellowing out. The rest looks OK.
Cold front has arrived. Had to bring out the humidifier again as the RH dropped all the way down to 33 % today. 😔

Last update this week (05. 07.
Adjusted LST clips to even out the cannopy which sits now at 40cm. The stems are rather rigid, had to take my sweet time with it. Pondering if I should keep the clips or deploy my net. Can´t decide. Maybe it´s too late for the net.
Bumped up the lights to 75 %, so I can spread out the light more by rising them up to 50cm above cannopy as the plants are now pretty wide.
Defficiency developing on lower leaves. It´s either Cal or K defficiency. I´ll 2x BioBloom next week and see what happens.

bananomet Accidentally supercropped one of the branches on the left Break-up cake while taking out my oregano pot to make some pesto... Nothing serious though. She´s holding. I decided against the net. It would make cleaning the collection plates a nightmare.
Height seems to have stopped at exactly 40cm, keeping even cannopy. They would have grown more if it wasn´t for LST, but yield 👈 height IMO.
Watered with 2L of water + nutes today. Lower leaf defficiency has stopped it seems. At least for now. Raised biobloom to 2ml/l and lowered fishmix to 0,5ml/l. Some leaves were clawing down with dark green tips. Too much N is my guess.
Trichomes started developing.
Had to deploy humidifier again to keep RH around 50 %. At least it isn´t as hot as last week. Lights alone (at 75 % power) raise the tent temps by 6°C! With the humidifier running, it´s like I am sticking my head into a greenhouse lol.

bananomet Yo, I didn't have time to care much for my plants last few days. Very bussy. No new pictures yet, so enjoy the temporary pic of my last grow - Amnesia Haze AUTO. She drank 7 liters of water every 2 days during peak flower. Yielded 100g of dry buds on the dot. Smelled like pine forest. The effects are - paranoid schizophrenia, extremely dry eyes, the hunger of 10 American boomers combined and random 20-30 year old memories I have put on a shelf at the back of my mind. Wouldn't really recommend, unless you want to dissociate and randomly "phase" into your 14 year old self for 10 seconds at a time. Growing it was fun though. Good result, considering I didn't really know what I was doing and she spent 3/4 of her life in a 60x60 box under 100W light until my new tent finally arrived 2 weeks before harvest.
---I'll delete these 2 photos later today and upload current pics of Break-up Cakes---
Anyway, pH experiment is over. They didn't like it at all.
Gave them 2L of plain water with 6.1 pH and 0.22mS/cm. Plenty of which ended up in the collection plate as runoff, since I was rushing to work (still arrived 15 minutes late to the office 😭)
Yesterday peak temps in tent were as high as 33C. Not ideal, not ideal at all.
ViparSpectra XS2000 lights have poorly thought out cooling. Most of the heat is concentrated in the drivers which transfer only a fraction of it into the passive cooling fins. They get so hot, you can't touch them.
I'll have to cash in on my experience building computers and make a DIY GPU-style cooling for the lights when I have a spare day or two.
@nomad_farmz, I appreciate the input. The clawing is why I lowered the dose of N by half and kept going with 0,5ml/l CalMag in yesterday´s watering.
I´ve measured the runoff (75ml) EC yesterday right after watering and it was 1,37 mS/cm. So about double the EC of the input. Though people say runoff EC is misleading while using organic fertilizers, so IDK what to make of it.
@nomad_farmz, They are looking fine today and plants need N even in flower.
Think the issue was solely caused by the fact that I let the soil get too dry too often. Which inreased osmotic pressure and that resulted in defficiency in lower leaves and excess in upper leaves.
I'll water more often from now on.
Big thanks for putting two of our Break-Up Cake Auto 🍰🇺🇸 seeds in the spotlight of your grow diary! ✨
We’re rooting for them to thrive and for you to hit some top-tier results 🚀. Sending you a massive wave of orange vibes from Kannabia to make that happen! 🧡
Enjoy every chapter of this green adventure! 📖🌿
