Flowering is obvious on both plants. for this week I´m going to switch to Flowering HPS bulb. Keeping the day room temperature around 22-23°C while night temperatures are around 18-19°C. Plants looks happy, however I´ll have to add net to support branches in near future. Also, I will start to use some potassium fertilizer to keep incoming buds big and juicy. I did a little bit of defoliation too to keep the bottom of the plant clean so air can flow easily there. You can see on the video two fans which are working 24/7.

The statistics on Frostbanger indicate 50-day flower. Pics show mostly clear and milky. There are a few with amber trichs and many orange pistils indicating maturation. At least 3 more weeks for maturity on these gals. I continue manual control of the environment and using 3 circulating fans and the 4” exhaust vent from my 3x3. I have the AC pushing air in and the exhaust pulling air out. This creates a neutral pressure tent environment-neither positive nor negative. It looks like growth has stopped and plant height has been reached. Now is the time for buds to fatten and frost up. All 6 of them are short remaining less than 3 ft. They range from 15 to 31 inches. #4, 5 &6 are showing some fade, particularly #4. Upon opening the tent, a melon smell comes off the buds if I get close, and more stickiness was observed during the process of defoliation. They are living up to the new strain’s name. #5 is the frostiest followed by #2. Wow week 3 of flower and that much frost already. (Update: 4/20/19) Please stand by while they dry. (Update Everything is going great though! The smell is very strong now; no more cut grass smell. From looking at all three today, I believe that some of the smaller branches will be done drying and ready for trimming and weighing in a day or two. I have one guess for dry weight of Big Lemon, any other guesses?? Remember, the picture of Big Lemon hang drying looks like its two plants, but its all Big Lemon; I had to cut it off to be able to hang it. The amputated branch left of the main plant is bigger than my other two plants alone! (Update 5/2/19) Woah...Okay. So after drying the whole for about nine days, and trimming for four days, Big Lemon's dry weight SO FAR is about 430ish grams of super dense and sticky nugs. Its amazing that I got more big bud than I got popcorn nugs from such a big plant. I have one more 1/2 gal Mason Jar of untrimmed tops to finish, then I'll post pics or a vid of the weigh up and glamour shots etc.. Oh, almost forgot, Little Lemon produced about 40 grams of very nice bud. This surpassed expectations because, although it was planted on the same day as Big Lemon, it was the runt of the bunch because it got pushed out of the main tent that had all the lights and Co2 environment and everything. It spent much of late veg under a very weak light. I remember how limp it was when I gambled on it and chose to switch her over to 12/12. But it was totally worth it in the end! Alight back to work for me. Check back later today for pics, vids! (Final Update: 5219 @11:09pm PT) Its done. Its finally done! I had to trim both plants with my own two hands! So Exhausting, yet so rewarding. So above are several videos of the weighing. Grand total for Big Lemon is 14oz of prime top shelf nugs, and about 3oz of nice popcorn/LARF (they are separated as shown above in a video. Forgive me for not throwing it all together to weigh it, I spent a long, long, very long time trimming and sorting and canning the buds according to their respective grade/quality. I may add one more update to show their respective weights. Oh and little lemon produced about an 1 1/2 oz of prime nuggets and quite a bit of popcorn/LARF, which I haven't gotten around to weighing yet. So, Grand Grand total of Both Lemon OG Candy (amazing job with this beast of a strain, Philosopher seeds) is about 18.5oz, or 1lb 2.5oz for two plants; 15.6oz of which is entirely made up of top-shelf buds 😎 Damn I love SoCal, I didnt even need to run carbon filters because no one be trippin about a lil stink weed. (Update: smoke review after a week or two of cure) This Lemon OG Candy had an extended veg period, about 4 months maybe a little longer, and I harvested her on day 56 of flower (recommended harvest 60-70 days) because of the size/distance to light and her root-bound problems. The results so far, a very uplifting and stimulating quality.

Should probably start my 2 week flush at the end of this week but I want to harvest this plant and my other one(which is 2.5 weeks behind) at the same time so I'm probably going to try and push the feeding another 2 weeks until I start the final flush, trying to have this stay in flower for 10 weeks, the breeder says flowering period takes 8-10 weeks so I think I'll still be just fine. This week went well, the plants are slowly starting to fade and colors are starting to come out. Gonna follow through with my original plan and continue feeding lightly for the next week or two until I start the final flush. I also raised the lights a bit this week mainly to help and give more light to my second plant that stretched so much its main cola is hitting the grow light, and also to help prevent any foxtailing from occurring.

These girls are doing great. Running out of room to move my light so hopefully they're done growing up lol. Small nugs are starting to form and the smell its starting to get strong smells very nice. Got a bigger dehumidifier to help with humidity was staying between 50-70 the last couple weeks finally getting down to 40. They're appetite is really ramping up now and they're drinking about a gallon a day between the three of em.

Getting pretty concerned about this little lady. Though this spotting issue could be a number of things but so far iv had no luck correcting it. I had my twnt fan break down leaving me with only my exhaust inline fan and passive intake. Thought maybe this cause condensation leading to light burn, but have since gotten a new fan and new spots apear. Thought maybe calcium or magnesium exess as i was using quiet a bit if Cal Mend to correct an earlier deficiency. So I fed only Micro Gro and Bloom with so UC roots and still spots are apearing. Im going to try readjusting my nutes and lowering the concentration to do a flush and fingers crossed because IDK how much worse this can get before we git the point of no return. March 12, Did a flush today. 5 gallons water + 95ml of Clear by Dutch Nutrients throughout the hydroton. Did this 3 times. Then did a reservoir change with adjusted dosage of Nutes.

Heute wurde ich das erste Mal getoppt. Der Schnitt ist gut verlaufen, und ich bin gespannt, wie ich mich dadurch weiter verzweigen werde. Zusätzlich habe ich meine erste Portion Dünger bekommen - Green Power 5in1 - und dazu 2 Liter Wasser, natürlich wieder schön abgestimmt. Ich fühle mich gestärkt und bereit für die nächste Phase meines Abenteuers!

The gorilla cookies is looking good but the purple lemonade is doing much better but i think the gorilla cookies is putting out alot of roots through the seven gallon fabric pot thats why it isnt as big as the purple lemonade

Fried day the 13th🏮

ok so everything has gone fantastic , no nutrient burns at all , and have been slowly creeping up the base nutrients , i have stopped the cal mag and now adding house and gardens bud XL at full strength these girls are now in full swing of flower and i bought a new ph stick this week , i have found when PHing the feed bucket that its best too have air stones in the bucket , add all nuts and then ph but do not use the feed that day as if you check the next day the ph is off again so i left it 24 hours after i add more ph down , and it seems too make the measurements alot easier and stable , i have bent down the main stems " without damaging them onto my netting too A keep the canopy all the same high so my lighting is covering all plants at the same distance and also it allowed the side stems too reach up too , i also was sponsored another new led light by kingbo this week so have added another 600watt led too the grow , so now have two 600's and one 900watt , and temps are still fine sitting at 24c lights on and 19-20 off , so am pleased with that , this lady is by far the bushyist plant with the most branches she also didn't stretch much and is packed with bud sites ,

Let’s see , humidity is an issue . It’s higher than I’d like it to be . I added drip pans & two different miniature forms of dehumidifiers one electronic and the other passive . I need recommendations on affordable dehumidifiers before I run into mold issues . After breaking the apical dominance there was one or two issues but it gave me all the more admiration for the genetics to take a beating and still remain unbothered & WHOLE . A main top was bound too tightly & broke in half trying to pull itself back up . It remained broken and unnoticed for atleast 3 days before I saw the damage and taped it . She is now almost fully scarred over & healed . Vertical growth was decent this week I wouldn’t describe it as fast or explosive. Still watering to activate the dry amendments I can tell they haven’t began taking it up quite yet. Holy shit do they stink when not premixed into the soil before planting ! Just monitoring & trying to get as much dense continuous resin packed bud stacked up in there .

Día 18. Estoy en la 3ra semana de crecimiento. Apliqué HST en las dos ramas altas para poder igualar la altura con las otras dos. Por el momento viene todo en marcha. Solamente hubo un poco de stress con hojas un poco arrugadas por exceso de nutrientes. Así que hoy rebajé la solución con un poco de agua. En 3 o 4 semanas debería estar en condiciones de cortar los esquejes que voy a necesitar para el sistema completo. Inicialmente voy a usar un módulo que ya tenía armado que hice con un cajón plástico. Ese es para 4 esquejes y la madre. Pero es muy chico para el espacio que tengo. Así que inicialmente usaré este y luego armaré uno para 9 o 7 plantas. Veremos cuan cómodo queda con 5 plantas por ahora, porque quizá prefiero hacer 7 plantas cómodas y no meter 9 y después no poder manejar el espacio. La idea es que la madre vaya al medio y los esquejes alrededor. Día 21. Rocíe la planta con tierra de diatomeas como preventivo. Sigo aplicando HST para lograr que las ramas bajas tomen protagonismo,y ya que van a ser los esquejes que use. De todos modos estoy viendo en el crecimiento que la genetica no está bien estabilizada. Los bancos de semillas argentinos, hasta ahora han sido decepción en cada siembra que hice, por lo cual no me sorprendería que esta también lo sea. Estoy analizando la idea de pasar a floración la planta así cómo está en el indoor grande y arrancar con una genética europea que tengo guardada para la próxima. Porque correr riesgos innecesarios me costaría mucho tiempo. Por el momento mantengo la solución, ya que en crecimiento la suelo hacer durar 10 o 15 días. Principalmente cuando la planta tiene menos de 4 semanas. Esta semana que arranca voy a definir que hago con esta genética. De paso subo un video con la configuración casi terminada del indoor. Pero cuando esté funcionando se va a entender mejor.

Day 51 - Deficiencies have gotten a bit out of hand the previous few days. Looking at the leaves I was thinking maybe calcium and magnesium deficiency, but it doesn't really make sense to me because I had: 1. Given a decent feeding with the Aptus cal-mag solution. 2. Calcium was already in the soil (pre-fertilized) 3. There is more often too much calcium in soil than too little. 4. There is a not insignificant amount of calcium in the water I use (causes limescale in a lot of things) So my guess is instead of calcium deficiency, I'm seeing next to some magnesium deficiency, a deficiency of phosphorus. So a couple of days ago I gave the plant FloraBloom which has both phosphorus and magnesium but no nitrogen or calcium. Today (two days later), the leaves are now feeling a lot less dry / crunchy, which was a supposed symptom of phosphorus deficiency. I expect to need to wait about two more weeks before harvesting. Maybe around 10 days. The trichomes are still fairly glassy although there's some cloudiness. Pistils are still mainly white though, so I'm expecting some fattening to happen. I don't really like feeding the plants at this point (short before harvest), but the deficiencies were severe enough to me that I'll keep giving FloraBloom this week. Next week I might stop depending on where the trichomes are at. Smell is excellent, I definitely now understand where the 'mandarin' name comes from. Very similar to a mandarin smell now. Other than the phosphorus / magnesium issue, the plants seems to be doing well.
