End of week 10 - Day 70 / 35 of flower Another good week at the parlour. A lot of hours spent in the tent yoyo-ing the biggest colas. Half way through the week nearly all of them had fallen over so I had a full evening trying to make some space and hanging them up. I messed up a feed at the beginning of the week and over fertilised them with PK which can be seen on some leaves. For the last 3 feeds they've been on only 0.5ml per litre to try and reverse a bit of the damage. After today they come off PK completely and onto the BioGreen X-Blast. Obviously with this being my first grow I have nothing to properly compare too just other diaries. Only 1 or 2 of my friends grow their own medicine but regardless I've never seen weed like this (in person) in my life. The frostiness is next level. Even with the lights on you can see just how many Trichomes these have produced. It's looking like they will only need another 3 weeks. Plan is to carry on following the feed chart for for another 2 weeks and if I see any signs of cloudy Trichs I'll start to flush them untill they are 50/50 cloudy and amber. I really hope these keep going strong. I just cant wait untill I can pack a bong and take a rip of my very own home grown weed!

Switched to 12/12. No Problems with any of the strains so far. Upped the wattage to 400 all plants but the LSD liked it. LSD showed little sunburn but got used to it quickly. Feeding every once in a while and adding some Bloom Nutrients early.

***DIVINE SEEDS ** AUTO OPIUM ***** Auto Opium week 7 & 8 7/28 - 8/4-10 I am late for my outside ladies diaries updates. Life has been getting the best of me lately. I’ve been packing my daughter’s room and moving her things to her new home. For those that have followed my since my beginning here, Cancer left me with neuropathy and arthritis in my hands. I can no longer do my glass fusing or flame work. To close this chapter of my life, I’ve been inventorying glass, tools, equipment, molds and supplies to sell. The most stressful has been appealing Medicare claims and receiving the second denials on the same claims. They are the last payer of record so good luck getting any reimbursement you are entitled to. My apologies to all of you for being so brief on your diaries and not providing many comments. Photos are from 7/28- 8/9 for both weeks. For my outside ladies, Opium, Auto Opium, Fractal, and Lemon Cake not much changed. They continue to live in sweltering conditions. Temps are in the upper 80-90s with humidity over 105. In addition to the heat, Hurricane Debby started up the coast but was downgraded to a tropical storm by the time it got to us. Expecting our normal thunderstorms, I waited til morning to bring yhe ladies inside. Overnight, we had wind gusts of 25mph. Yeah, then I brought all gals into the house. The photo gals are strong and with thick stalks were able to withstand the winds. Both Opium’s got blown over Auto Opium is thin and spindly and before I could save her from the winds and rain, she got whipped side to side. The top 2 feet bent hard one way and the top 6 inches bent the other direction. The pics show my attempt to bandage the damage 😟 to her top cola with chopsticks and electrical tape. I top dressed all ladies with Bloom Soil for organic fertilizer. Buds are fattening up, trichomes are minimal at this time but some fragrance is starting to be noticed. This week has been excellent for my Black Cherry! Five days ago, it received its first pruning. It was defoliated a bit and the top was pinched. I want to see how the genetics react to stress and how it copes with it. The side shoots have been tied back as best I could. A beautiful bushy growth is slowly forming!

Today two of the plants going to stay one week without water. I cut them all leaves and we waiting for harvest. This is my first grow and now when i see those flowers i'm really dissapointed that auto they are so small. Xd Anyway better then nothing. The smell is really strong,can't wait to taste them

Commencing Week 7: day 43 on January 12th Today I left the dirty girls (I call them that because they are in soil 😋) out of the tent for their first time in their lives to hang out with some new girlfriends (my photoperiod s). They seem very happy to be hanging out with them 👍👍 The other day I took one of my personal photoperiod Crosses and pollinated one of the bottom flowers of the bloody skunk, hopefully seeds will be coming soon :-) Today I started thinking about how much longer they have left and it seems the bloody skunk is nearing the finish Line already. In the beginning of this diary I wanted to achieve the goal of getting some autoflower seeds by taking one of the syrup strains and cross breeding it but none of my syrups strains made it from seed for some reason. So now I'm thinking about taking the top bud off of bloody skunk in the next week or two and letting the rest of the plant go through rodelization so I may still achieve that goal. We shall see. Aug 3: this is a very promising looking plant. She’s quite big and flowering quite quickly which is a great combo. She was the exact same size as my other photoperiod until the start of flowering two weeks ago, and now she’s bigger and flowering faster. Humidity is quite low during the day so I’m continuing to mist the leaves a few times during the day. Did a foliar spray of Extreme Blend and potassium silicate this morning. Aug4: did a major defoliation to remove small lower buds and stuff that was growing in toward the centre. This improves light penetration and air flow which are super important but also forces the plant to direct the energy where you want at the main colas, and not wasted down below. Aug 5: lots of buds forming quickly on lots of decently uniform colas. Should be good. Big rain last night but plants were in dark garage. Watered this morning with 27 C water that had blackstrap molasses, soluble seaweed extract, Monster Maxx and Cal-Mag. Did all four on the weak side of the standard concentrations listed and just 1L used on the plant. Much cooler today so she won’t need as much water. Aug 6: added UV lights from AC Infinity. Very well deigned and manufactured like all of their gear. These are indoor lights so fair weather use only. This far north (53 N) we run out of strong sunlight before it gets too cold in the fall. Idea is to use UV lights for a couple hours each day centred at peak sun (currently 1:39 pm). UV light is the main environmental limit on THC and this will make the light in Edmonton in September more like California in July. Should have a big impact this far north. At other end of light spectrum, I use Forever Green Indoors (FGI) 730 nm far red light as a bloom booster. A few seconds at dusk is all it takes for the far red light. This is the third season using the far red light and it definitely works. #seedsman420growoff #seedsmanseeds

7/7: Transplanted plant to final pot! Roots showed out of tray. Accidentally pulled a root off during transplant 😢. After transplant I top feed/watered medium with a half gallon of treated water. I mixed 2ml of Rapid Start in 1 gallon water hub. Poured half in half gallon jug then poured half gallon over medium. Added 2 gallons of water into reservoir (1st white line) to promote root growth to bottom and to begin capillary reaction. 7/8: Bumped light intensity dimmer to 30%. 7/9: Left for Vacation.... Praying for my baby!🙏🏿 Going to be gone for 4 days. 😅 ***** For this Grow****** “Day Air Temperature” will be the max temp of tent for the week. “Substrate Temperature” will be the average temp of tent for the week. “Night Air Temperature” will be the lowest temp of the tent for the week.

Pianta forte, con rami allungati ma robusti, cime toste e appiccicose al profumo di skunk, formaggio ed erbe aromatiche Ottima varietà questa Gushlava, ottima banca semi Nasha Genetics, spero che presto si possa far conoscere anche qua su Growdiaries.

Was out of town all week and came back to find the CBD Star in my space bucket not looking good. It looks like a phosphorus deficiency but not entirely sure. Yellow leaves with brown/black spots and dark red/purple stems. I flushed it with 2 gallons 6.5 pH water, re-fertilized, put it out in the sun and defoliated. I defoliated pretty heavily since many of the fan leaves were yellowed and blocking light from the lower bud sites. The center was also getting pretty dense so I carefully removed some of the leaves to help with airflow. Despite the stress, It seems to have bounced back reasonably well. There’s probably irreparable damage given the level of yellowing but the buds continue to grow and thicken. Cheese has absolutely exploded and looks great. It probably doubled in height last week with many bud sites on the 5 main stalks. Excited to see how it turns out.

Once again these girls don’t really need much just watering when dry but other than that we are on cruise mode. I have been checking trichomes for about a week now and man is she almost there I should be giving them lights out with in another week or two can’t wait

I am increasingly convinced that I will have to cut GG3 first (probably at the end of this week, given the darkening of all those trichomes) and in at least a week (if not more) GG2 come on girls!

Thanks again Short Stuff Tha Shiznit this one should get real nice. For sure. Tha Shiznit is an Auto strain of the highest possible quality. The Urban Dictionary describes the phrase, ‘Tha Shiznit’ as ‘The greatest, the best ever, simply the shit…’ and this autoflowering strain matches up to that description. Tha Shiznit is a complex hybrid of Amnesia kush, Diesel, Master Kush and Jack Herer so you have some serious genetic quality in the mix.  Shiznit produces medium to large, plants which can easily surpass 1m indoor. She has larger internodal spacing with chunky buds forming at each internode. She will generally have a thick central stem and a dominant main cola, large fan leaves and thick clustered buds. This plant is extremely resinous as you would expect for a strain with so much Kush heritage and in a percentage of plants you can expect to see some pink and purple coloration.  Tha Shiznit gives off a classic old school skunky flavour/fruity and some phenotypes express a unique strawberry smell. When smoked you get an intensely strong flavour on the inhale with the fruity aromas coming through on the exhale.  This strain was tested at Spannabis 2014 and recorded THC levels of 20.6% which for an autoflower strain is quite incredible. These high levels of THC mean Tha Shiznit is one of our most potent straisn and produces a powerful cerebral high that keeps you chatty and motivated.  Tha Shiznit is a very straight forward strain which can handle plenty of nutrients and requires little attention. If grown with some care she can easily produce 60g+ per plant.

This was the last week for the Cookies Gelato. They've turned purple. Weather is not that great anymore, and I want to avoid more budrot, so I had to chop them down 😛

7th of May Day 59 day 11 of 12/12 4 plants are looking healthy the stretch has started and and the canopy is starting to get a bit dense I may rom I’ve some large fan leaves on day 14 of 12/12 to give better airflow and allow for the lower growth to get more light, I can picture the colas already 😁🍁 ppm still going in at 650 ph 6.5, i top dressed each plant with fish blood and bone mean 3 table spoons to each 3gal pot on day 1 of flower
