🌸 Week 3 Flower – The Jungle Takes Over The girls are now towering at 1.20 m, turning our tent into a proper green jungle. Both phenotypes are thriving with thick stalks, lush foliage, and a dense network of branches promising a spectacular flower set. This week was all about control and balance. ✂️ Defoliation & Growth Management Although these plants have been allowed to grow naturally so far, their explosive stretch meant I had to step in. I performed a strategic defoliation, not because the plants were weak, but to: • Improve airflow through the canopy. • Ensure light reaches lower bud sites. • Slow vertical growth and help prevent them from outgrowing the tent. Even with a high ceiling, there’s still a risk of running out of headroom during the last stretch. Defoliating at this stage also redirects energy to bud formation instead of excessive leaf production. Note: During this process, a few branches were accidentally broken while moving them out for photos. I left this in the report and photos as a learning moment, large plants can be tricky to handle. All the plants are beautiful but some are beautiful. This is the case of Red Hot Cookies, a young lady who stands out, stands out among the others and despite the 6.5 pot she is also growing and swelling well. But her strength is beauty for real, look at these flowers to believe. They are an intense red that goes towards purple which contrasts greatly with the truly wonderful white hairs. Also wonderful are the leaves that are tinged with the classic RHC color near the flower

And we have arrived at the end, the last lady branded Zamnesia F1 Hybrid has been harvested, she is probably the most beautiful and largest of all and her name is Pineapple Express F1 Hybrid Auto. I talked about the harvest of the smallest plant last week if you want to go and see the second one go to week 8. As for this one it is definitely the tallest plant, I still have to weigh the dry buds, but it certainly seems to be the most productive plant, there is really a lot of weed in the dry room. Lots of weed in a short time guys don't overlook this factor, I know especially new growers love autoflowering plants like crazy and have also specialized in growing them: you can certainly see the advantage of finishing in 8-9 weeks instead of 12. 2 more harvests per year do the math guys that's a lot of more weed. Lovers of topping on autoflowering plants, an experimental practice for me on these plants and only recommended on strains that respond well and quickly, will be able to finish the plants in reasonable times without stretching out as if they had grown photoperiodic plants. Guys, if you have to do topping on autoflowering plants, either grow very fast F1 Hybrids or switch to photoperiodic plants, we have excellent strains. It makes no sense to harvest autoflowering plants at week 16, with F1 Hybrids even if you do topping you get to 12. Of course, if you need speed and want to do topping, the advice is to choose those that the breeder indicates as the fastest. Our Pineapple Express is burning with resin and very productive, see for yourself, James Franco and Seth Rogen would be proud of us. The main cola has a wonderful shark fin formation that drives me crazy, I photographed it from different angles but when I see the shark fin I become a schoolgirl. The level of ripeness is medium, halfway through the harvest window we have some amber trichomes, many milky ones but also something transparent still, I could have kept it a little longer but as I said several times: I don't like super ripe plants, the pistils were super ripe so for me it's a symptom of mold lurking, in the growbox now there are 40 degrees.... The heat is not a friend of the quality of the buds and resin. So speed also helps us escape the arrival of the most hostile climates. week intel: its time for second pruning they grew up too fast and need second pruning as below : first i remove big fan leaves and only leaves then let them rest for 1 day then the second part of pruning will get done that is removing branches based on these conditions: 1-if the branch is very low and never can make it to the top , 2- if branch is in shade even after pruning fan leaves , 3- if there are too many branches at the small space then non of them will get resources so if there is no space for branch then , they must get remove. everything is perfect! stresses : pruning big fan leaves and lower branches + a little E.C stress around 1.7 once a week feeding: i feed them 3 times this week with this order : day 1 : i feed them heavy with silicate +base nutrients(calcium & micros + Bloom) about 884 ppm - 1.7 e.c to cause a little stress. day 3 : i feed them low dose of Feeding Booster + Karbo Boost around 325 ppm - 0.6 e.c to let them recover a little but not fully recover still a little stress will caused. day 5 : i feed them with low dose of Top-Max + B-52 around 213 ppm - 0.4 e.c to let them recover the stresses to get ready for another stress next week. guide of the week : no more stresses from now on till the end and from next week i'll reduce the amount of nitrogen and calcium to below half to the end.

This was my first outdoor autoflower experience. Very happy with the results. Buds could have had a better taste in my opinion but that is just preference.

Woche sieht es doch schon sehr nach Herbst aus. 👌 Habe die ganze Woche keinen Dünger zugeführt und jeden zweiten Tag 6 Liter Wasser auf 6,5 ph‘ed gegeben. Die Farben die sich hier entwickelt haben flashen mich immernoch jedes mal wenn ich das Zelt aufmache. Der Geruch ist wirklich intensiv und hat was fruchtig erdiges mit leichter Gas Note. Mehr dazu natürlich erst nach dem trocknen und cure. Schätze mal das wir so in 14 Tagen am Ziel sind, bleibt also spannend was da noch passiert. Bis dahin euch allen eine gute Woche!💚

Another good week! I fed them once on Monday. A final shot to boost them for finishing up. I am pretty certain they will finish within 2 weeks.I also watered them on Thursday and today (Sunday). I defoliated both plants earlier this week as well. For one, I needed to open the canopy up to help keep the humidity down but, there were a lot of leaves yellowing and turning brown. I was not feeding them correctly... in the sense that I wasn't watering enough in between feeds. There were excess nutrients built up in the soil and I believe that led to the nutrient burn. Also, this was my first and only feed without the Grow Big due to flushing for week 9. I followed the Fox Farm feed schedule... but, I think I needed to understand my plants better! I also believe I stunted these girls! One is about 24" tall and the other is 21" tall. Both on the very low end of the growth chart. Overall, I am very happy!! So much to experience and learn in such a short window of time! I've thoroughly enjoyed this grow! I look forward to the harvest and experiencing all that is to come! One last thing... Anyone use GrowBuddy and any word on what is going on with the current download? I've followed the drama around taking so long and all that (the new hardware soon to be for sale for 2.0)... but, the website now says the software is available for free and working on Macs and Windows.... So, I downloaded it last night and I cannot activate an account. Everything has a greyed over kind of look... So, I assume they took some part of their servers offline... Anyone know if this is accurate and has anyone else activated a new account recently? Thanks for any insight!! Peace!

A sad week, I found bud rot and had to take my plants out and do a big check and remove all dense underdeveloped growth. It will be a pretty big hit on the yield I guess but the most important thing is learning and that I did. The bud rot could spread due to my RH being 65/70 at nights and it used to be +80 before, + bad airflow. I got new fans in the tent and my dehumidifier was ordered already but its not in yet. On the other side, the plants are looking pretty damn good, they smell amazing and 3 of the 4 plants is getting a very dense nug structure.

This week the buds have fatten up some more and the production of thc was clearly visible in the trichomes. On the last day of this week I did a check and I saw a lot of them where turning cloudy, half cloudy with a few amber ones. I guess another 2 weeks at max and I'll be harvesting. The fungus gnats where a real pest during this run. So I've placed a drosera capensis(carnivorious plant) in the growroom and she hasn't eaten this much since I got here a year ago. Should have done this weeks ago... This weeks menu for the Pineapples: Day 1 → Each 1250 ml (0.33 gallon) tapwater with Plagron nutrients (see above for which and how much) Day 2 → Dry Day 3 → Each 1250 ml (0.33 gallon) ph adjusted tapwater (ec 0.48– ph 6.6) Day 4 → Dry Day 5 → Each 1250 ml (0.33 gallon) tapwater with Plagron nutrients. 16 ml Terra Bloom, 4 ml Sugar Royal, 4ml Power Buds and 4 ml Green Sensation was added to 5 liter (1.32 gallon) of tapwater (ec 1.77 – ph 6.6) Day 6 → Dry Day 7 → Each 1250 ml (0.33 gallon) ph adjusted tapwater (ec 0.46– ph 6.5) The cobs are now at 45 cm (17.7 inch) with 320 watt → DLI 43/PPFD 995 This will be the maximum power for this run. Temperatures fluctuated between 20.3 – 29.8 °C (68.5 – 85.6 °F) and humidity levels between 43 – 69% Till next week!
