This is my Northern Lights i got in a freebie pack quite a while ago. I planted it in my veg room for kicks as i have never been interested in growing an auto. Im lucky enough to have two tents so I use my Veg room for experiments and cloning as well. As you can see even though I germed it a week after my Blue Dream (check my diary :)) it quickly turned into this monster. SO For your pleasure I present my first Auto, lets see how she does!

Here we are day 55 for our Wurlz F1 Hybrid. I would immediately like to say, do you notice anything by any chance? I said day 55 and we're pretty much ready. The leaves are turning yellow regularly, I have removed the fertilizers, the pistils are ripe, the resin is out, there are all the signs for a harvest which should take place towards the end of next week. The plants were born on April 6th, I repeat on April 6th for those who cannot grasp the concept. Most certainly Watermelon Candy and Wurlz will be harvested around June 6th, guys...8 weeks...not even 9 or at most nine weeks. If you're good at math, you do it otherwise I'll lend you some fingers. For topping lovers it means that if you want to do topping on autoflowering plants they won't finish in biblical times, according to my calculations even doing topping shouldn't go beyond three months, like an autoflowering from the previous generation. Why am I talking about the previous generation? Because these have certainly moved forward with speed, I have seen them grow and above all swell the flowers like I have never seen them do. As for the rest of the resin and pistils, everything is really in place. I want to do a terpene inspection soon and evaluate the ripeness for the harvest. The Wurlz also ends a little earlier than the others and is truly lightning. There should be no issue achieving perfect coverage, corner to corner with this light. Its been years since we've flowered under LED ( and never one of this quality), we're a little bias towards HID/CMH, especially my hubby but I think this might just be the LED that changes our mind! We'll be growing Gelat OG Auto by Seedsman (we've heard amazing things) for our first grow under the SP-3000, all plants in 5gl fabric pots, Promix-B (25% perlite) on a 20/4hr cycle. We're starting with 4 plants but if they become unmanageable, we'll move one or 2 of the plants to another tent. We use a glass of water and a paper towel as our germination method. We soak seeds roughly 24hrs and then in a wet paper towel for another 12-24hrs, we average roughly a 90% success rate doing it this way... No aggressive interventions, no forcing. This grow is based on observation, leaf positioning, and letting the plant express herself naturally. Amnesia Skunk has shown: • Strong vertical intent • Beautiful internodal spacing • A structure that responds extremely well to simple leaf bending She is clearly in flower mode now and transitioning smoothly. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment Update (and Why It Matters) • Day temperature: ~28°C • Humidity: ~65% Outside temperatures are still on the cooler side, but inside the room things have shifted naturally. As plant mass increased, lighting intensity was raised, and under-canopy lighting was introduced, the room itself became a stable heat source. This allowed us to raise temperatures without adding external heating or forcing conditions. This balance is important because it keeps plant metabolism active but relaxed, especially during early flower. VPD Perspective At ~28°C and ~65% RH, we are sitting in a comfortable early-flower VPD range, supporting: • Active transpiration • Nutrient mobility • Strong gas exchange Nothing extreme, nothing restrictive. ⸻ 💡 Lighting & Atmosphere (Why These Numbers Work) • PPFD: ~600–850 (depending on plant size and position) • CO₂: ~900 ppm The PPFD range allows: • Smaller or lower sites to stay productive • Taller tops to push without stress This avoids the classic mistake of lighting only for the tops and forgetting the rest of the plant. CO₂ at ~900 ppm is intentionally moderate, not excessive. Terra Grow is nitrogen-forward, designed to push vegetative mass. At this stage, excess veg-driven nitrogen can: • Delay flower focus • Encourage unnecessary leaf production • Blur the plant’s hormonal transition Why introduce Terra Bloom now? Terra Bloom supports: • Flower site development • Structural energy needs • Balanced nutrition without over-pushing foliage This is not a shock change. Hoping by the end of this week to see a decent bit of vegative growth. I also had a boost in growth after sprouting but has slowed down decently. Plants leaves started drooping down and one edge of leaf turned a lighter green, leaves also look wrinkled, but don’t feel dry. I was advised it was nothing to be concerned of but I want other opinions. Also started a little LST today 2/15/24

We are at the beginning of the 9th week of flowering. The trichomes are slowly beginning to change color. I'm now going on vacation for 9 days, I couldn't have planned it any shittier. But anyway, I've decided to keep them growing and then probably harvest them straight after my vacation.

Water, water every where and all the boards did shrink. 2 gallons on each 5 gallon fabric pot of 5.9 PH rain water is all they have had for the last 5 days. I think they is lots of food left in the Coco and from what I have been told about Autos they are not heavy feeders. I am a little baffled by the Think Different, why is it not branching out? It looks like one big cola and it has not got any taller. I defoliated the bottom 1/4 of the 4 that are growing just to get some of the bottom leaves out of the wet coco. Also to improved air flow Temps and RH have been with in range 78F-88F RH 40%-70% even with the rain and cold. The Blue dream I'm gonna give another 4 weeks if I don't see any improvement I will pull the plug. gonna give one more flowering feeding in a few days as soon as the pots dry out. that should last them till harvest time and Ill flush 2 weeks out from harvest with Green Buzz Clean Fruits. So far these girls are beginning their push towards early stages of flowering! Each node is slowly developing pistils, new growth & reaching for the light! They've widened quite a bit seeing as both plants are slowly making their way outside the edge of their 6.6 gallon autopots. I'm noticing the increase in water consumption with no signs of new deficiencies at the 1.7EC 5.8ph. I will be increasing the the EC to 2.0 after flowering begins to progress.

Very progressive week in. I am not changing the journal itself yet to flower since the flowers are only just forming like today or yesterday ish. From next week, I will change journal to reflect that as well. Helps me with ranging the PK week accurately. As I mentioned before, Mammoth P was received with no seal however seller adamant that product is all good. To be honest, I immediately started seeing difference in girls (in a good way 😊). They are much more stacked (very short inter nodal distance on new growth) and this started to happen soon as I started giving Mammoth P. Still no way to tell for sure what exactly is working, therefore, I am sticking to "it IS genuine product in its genuine form". Just to be on safe side, I ordered some Recharge as well LOL 😅 This shit is Sealed as fuck so I have ZERO doubt. I will be adding that once a week from here on too... just in time. Important update is that after the cycle was changed to 12 hours light, I saw leaf tip burn on one of the girls (nothing major) beginning of the week, I narrowed it to Light stress so moved em back a bit and lowered the nutes too just in case (sativas do tend to be more moody or is it just me)...Anyway, She is spot on once again so all good. I found Canazym really helps with keeping girls happy, especially after a defoliation or a stress. Haven't yet defoliated heavily just one odd leave picked from down below as I plan to lollypop her bit later, (Lollypoping is way to go with these flat lights , COBs are another story). So they are being prepped for the hair cut, I expect week later. Avevo staccato due cime per pianta delle kmintz. Mantengono quello che sentivo mentre le toccavo. La prima pianta sa di caramelle zkittlez con un fumo che nell aria non è il classico odore di erba ma qualcosa di incensato e mi fa impazzire.La seconda è decisamente più complessa. Zkittlez/frutti di bosco/nocciola/gas. Ho scritto oggi a Ripper Seeds facendo vedere un po di foto e mi hanno detto di tagliarle pure anche se manca qualche giorno rispetto ai 63 dichiarati dalla casa.Ho già ricomprato 5 semi perché le rifarò sicuramente se non il prossimo ciclo quello dopo. Le due Watermelon Zkittlez proseguono la fioritura. A settimana prossima coltivatori 💪🤞
