Welcome to week 5 of flower! Things are moving along and where gaining mass on the flowers daily! With some of the plants starting to fade into a nice purple in their leaves I can only imagine at the end in 4-5 weeks! Cleaned up the bottoms of the plants abit more as well as took away some leaves blocking light to flower sites. Recap: Things went well this week the ladies are pumping trichomes and weight won't be long till we see some real thick flowers. Over all really pleased with this run so far!

All looking good, was looking like there was gonna be a few mutants but they seem to have sorted themselves out. Topped most of them now at day 22, will start spreading them out a bit this week and start training them up

it's working.. trying to get some more green to the thing, nutrients slowly,will give it a whiel; I've b3en hacking at it recently. just treating it like an experiment atm... I need a little usb fan too....

So from this point I had lost hope. the plants weren't looking to good. But with some help we went to town on the plants and did some LST'ing and hoped this would help the plants.

Week 4 continues with recharge and TPS1. I added Fox Cal mag increasing ppm to 685 - 805. 5/1 That was a fun feeding week. I got heavy handed with the TPS1 which put the ppm to 1600= so I had to dilute with more water which changed the ph. So I carefully added the smallest amount oh PHdown..then the PH was 5.08 so then added ph up. Oops too high, let’s try again. Ok finally within range with 6.02. Am I the only one?? Hopefully next week I have better control on the nutes. With my AC controller in charge of the humidifier, I must add 3-4 gallons of water a day. (Getting my lifting exercises in regularly). Girls are fed 2 liters of water every other day. Nutrients: TPS1 7ml per gal Recharge 5 ml/gal Fox Cal-mag 5 ml/gal Took pics /51 and 5/3 which show the vigorous leaf growth after only 2 days following defoliation and training. To achieve this, I am aggressively pinning down each branch coming off the main stalk while defoliating regularly to keep the top open. Today 5/4, she is only 9inches tall but has a beautiful, mounded canopy showing multiple bud sites. Until the plants are big enough to go outside, I will be using my AC Infinity tent and equipment. Put a lot of love into this grow. She grew for 4 months from seeds to harvest. About 5 weeks and 56 days of flower. Overall great strain to grow and great site @growdiaries for giving the platform and help from other growers. I’ve learned so much about growing and especially about this strain.

The harvest of the first medusa F1 hybrid at day 93 after germination. The trichomes were starting to turn amber. I probably could have let her ripen for a bit longer. I am amazed how fat she has gotten, the weight of the flower is too heavy for the branches. Way to go RQS for breeding such a fast growing autoflower. She is already in the drying tent for 5 days now at a temperature of 19 °C with a humidity of around 55-60%. I want a nice and slow drying process to preserve the terpenes and cannabinoïds. This will take about 2 weeks in my opinion, when the branches start to give a clean snapping sound when bending. I will make a harvest blog once the flowers are dried and I have weighed the buds for the yield. This lady only received some LST and a little defoliation throughout the entire grow. I also dont flush the plant at the end since this myth was debunked by a scientific article. A flush is only needed if you overfed the plant. Dr bruce bugbee also confirmed this. The dry tent smells of hay/grass, which is logical because the plant still has a lot of chlorophyll inside. Untill the harvest blog! Check my other Medusa F1's for the progress of the experiment. Flush time for divine storm and mandarin dreams. These ladies are frosty and sticky AF! Just insane how sticky they are and the frost is like light snow, my camera just doesn't do it justice.
