Let sit is a wet paper towel the next day due to time limitations to setup my pots and soil. Once ready (36hrs) I popped them into 40g of Stonington blend soil, made a hole about 1in deep, and watered 4ml of water over the entire surface of the covered seed. Keeping them between 65-72 Stonington blend seems like it has more perlite this year. The old mix was pretty hygroscopic so I'm glad they made the change. Wish the price was cheaper because it also feel like it's less dense which to me means more peat and less heavy organic material. I'd be interested to soil test them against each other. .

*** RESULTS ARE IN *** Final results are in! Updated with pics of dry-trim and weigh-in :) Total yield was 228g of bud + 45g trim to be used for tincture. Total weight 273g / 9.75oz This was way beyond what I was expecting! Was hoping to get around 6oz from this grow, so the final result has absolutely blown my mind. But more importantly, it's a !!REALLY!! good smoke :) I've taken half oz off the top and put the rest into mason jars for curing, but even without a cure, the taste is good - sweet and creamy. The smell has come on LOTS through the drying process. When I chopped, the smell was fragrant, but not too strong. Now, you can smell it across the house and no mistake. It packs a punch too, very potent high - Can't wait to share with a few friends :) ********** Well, this has been an awesome experience for my first grow. Thankfully, these girls were super strong - they took a LOT of abuse in terms of high temps (up to 38C some days) and survived me being an idiot in the early days and not really knowing what I was doing. But here we are! Almost didn't want to chop them down..... but I got over that pretty quick. Total wet weight from both was 1339g (47.8 oz), of which about 150g is popcorn / larf. Super impressed with the yield :) My aim is to be self sufficient, in terms of yield being able to last long enough for another grow cycle to complete. With a rough estimate of 3 months per cycle, and based on my current usage of approx half oz a week, I would need this to result in about 6oz when dried, and I think this could be achievable. I will update the dry weight in due course. Can't speak to the quality yet. As tempting as it is to quick dry a test nug for a cheeky toke, I'll wait for it to dry properly, so I can really appreciate it. I've waited this long to harvest, another couple of weeks won't kill me. Also, I still have some of my current stash (hopefully the last weed I'll ever have to buy!). It's really difficult to be patient though, because DAMN it looks good. I'll give the buds a good manicure and dry trim when they're ready. It smells really good too! The smell is not overly powerful, it doesn't slap you in the face like some weed does, but it's delicious! Fresh, bursting oranges, with just an undertone of that unmistakable weed smell......It's like The Man from Del Monte is stood behind you in a queue, and he has an eighth of dank in his pocket that he doesn't think anyone else can smell. If I had to say I've learned anything along this journey, it's that it's better to be prepared. Research things that COULD happen and have necessary stuff on hand when you need it. Don't wait until that deficiency shows before ordering what you need and finding out it'll take 2 weeks to ship (fuck you, covid-19). OK guys I'm starting at the beginning of week 5 so this one is only a few days after my last addition the the diary. I noticed the very first pistils so now we are in week 1 of flower. Punch 2 has dark greeb, curled down edges, maybe a nitrogen toxicity? I don't think I'm over watering, they didn't have water for 6 days when I noticed these symptoms. Punch 1 doesn't have the dark green edged fan leaves or the curling down, but there are some pale white spots and smudges at the ends of the fan leaves. Any ideas guys? I'm new to this so not 100% what is going on or how to fix. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys🎄

Jan-9-2025 So I decided to harvest lemon cherry cookies,Ztrawberriez,and Cherry cola.The Papaya cookies,Strawberry pie,and Pound cake are still going strong as they need some more time maybe another week or two before they are ready.

So it has been a bit more than a week since update but the ladies seem to be thru the stretch and budding well now. I think in the next update I'll do pics of the defoliation at week three(upcoming Sunday) I added some drip rings to even out watering between different strains. The Orange blossom gets two water lines pumping it while KK gets one and is still a bit damp. The adjustable drip tips just weren't keeping their settings and Blossom gets thirsty fast right now. They are just part of the floraflex kit for rockwool cubes, but with Coco I find water absorbs/disperses just fine.(I usually use 1/2'' black holes drippers but stepped on 3 of em..) Ladies are pretty healthy but lacked some N after the stretch here and yellowed some bottom leaves. I gave them a bit of Grow food in this reservoir. Just at 1 part. Micro at 2 parts, and Bloom 3. I really under feed and adjust up if they look hungry usually. I stopped using the Piranha and Tarantula powders after week two so those are on the shelf until the next rotation. But since I see buds I started, I added in the Liquid Kool bloom at .5 ml/l, again thats like 1/8th strength but its plenty. Too much of the boosters and stuff burns quick. I did a decent job keeping them trained back from the vert bulb this time so haven't crisped up any leaves yet which is great. The plants are about at 24 inches tall after the stretch to keep them under the big double ended. Thats actual height for the Krishna, but the blossom is bent into a bunch of z's to keep it low. These are actually some big plants stuffed in there, so hoping they make some good sized buds. Got some pics of the bud starts for each plant. No frost yet but it'll start by next week I think. Maybe a week until I pull off any buds that are not the size of a grape yet, and leave the good starts to get extra juice. I'm over trimming under buds since my last overgrown scrog.

This plant is ready in 50/58days, taste and production is good She fruity and smells like grapefruits! You can smoke it during day because of her talkative effect. She’s easy to grow and don’t need a lot of nuts. I love her and I’m gonna cut another one in few days ! She has a beautiful dark color and purple inside ! Beautiful, strong and tasty ! Plants that are too far from an adequate light source will respond by accelerating stem growth in order to get closer to the lamp themselves. Especially when there are many other plants. A lack of lighting can easily cause overcrowding in a growing chamber, reducing the steady progression of your crop and the distance ratio between your bulbs and your plants. To address this problem, be sure to provide enough light to your plants to prevent stem growth. At the same time, you should not position your lights too close to your plants either since this would also result in an over-stretching of the stems and in some cases, the loss of your crop. In addition to the distance between the light source and the plant, the type of light you will use also affects the size of the stretching of your crop. The orange and red lights encourage stretching and result in thinner, larger stems. And conversely, blue light stimulates a growth of thicker stems and a smaller size. When a species is ready to enter the vegetative phase and undergo its most drastic stretching period, metal halide lamps can be used to deter far too long stems. Environmental stressors resulting from transplantation (when a plant passes from one pot to another) can cause the plant to return to shock. This will eventually trigger a reaction causing a stretch. Cannabis plants that are not grown in decent conditions or do not receive enough nutrients will respond in a variety of ways and this includes stretching. Crops that are not spaced far enough apart are likely to stretch to sting the light to other plants. Due to extreme proximity, the plants will fight among themselves to reach the light, forcing them to expand as much as possible throughout the crop. HOW TO CONTROL STRETCHING DURING FLOWERING Stretching during flowering, you guessed it, takes place when you move your plants from the vegetation stage to the flowering stage. This is a completely normal reaction, as your plants are preparing to bear the weight of their heads. Stretching of a plant at the beginning of flowering varies widely; some plants can double in height while others grow only a few centimetres. There are, however, two main variables that can give you at least an idea of how your plants are stretching during flowering, and how much. Basic ventilation is enough to help the cannabis stems strengthen and become thicker rather than too high. In this way, the plants continue to grow vigorously without reaching heights and at the same time, your tolerance ceiling. MANUAL INTERVENTION For growers who want to get their hands dirty, there are physical procedures that can be done to reduce stretching. Similar to the natural effect that the wind has on cannabis plants, manually bending the leaves and stems will cause tiny cracks in the plant's tissues that will cause the plant to focus on regenerating its wounds instead of its vertical growth. In most cases, an abnormal stretch of cannabis plants will not completely destroy your crop. In fact, stretching can indeed help increase your performance. For growers with a growing operation large enough to contain tall plants, stretching can increase the total yield of a species with more vertical space for head formation. She's coming along really well, I think she's almost done stretching, hopefully we will begin to see her bud structure fill out really well. The weather has been frigid outdoors, 11°F all week. My heater from AC Infinity is holding up incredibly against the temps. Can't wait to see this one through, I just know it'll be a good one.
