Woche 7 Ramona musste leider in ein größeres Zelt umziehen. Der vorherige gebastelte Schrank ist nur 120cm hoch, zwischen Pflanze (höchster Bud) und Lampe waren nur noch 24cm Platz. Viel zu wenig und die Lampe war schon auf die maximale Höhe eingestellt die möglich war. Nun hat sie wieder Platz :) Das Zelt ist 80x80x180cm :D Ramona hat auch ganz schön Durst. 3L Wasser schluckt nun weg. Week 7 Unfortunately, Ramona had to move to a larger tent. The selfmade cabinet before is only 120cm high, and there was only 24cm of space between the plant (tallest bud) and the lamp. Far too little and the lamp was already set to the maximum height that was possible. Now she has space again :) The tent is 80x80x180cm :D Ramona is also really thirsty. She swallows 3L water now.

Top dressed Asman and Asal with a tablespoon of Dr. Earth Bloom and 3 tbs of worm castings. Added terpinator, microbials and molasses to calmag'd water. Benesh got fed last week with the same load/mix and is doing great. No defoliation or much training early this week. Did some heavier defoliation on Sunday to give more of the bigger and higher buds space. Will make a TCHA tincture off of the defoliated buds, which I will add to later. Lovely mint and chocolate aromas on my fingers after the defoliation.

Not many changes this week buds starting to fatten and pistils are turning brown but trics are still clear/milky. Waiting on the first sight of amber to start the flush 👍🏼

Harvest Day 105

Dam these are making me happy! Took clones for future seeds!

While I was away in Mallorca, enjoying the sun and smoking some Sativa Landrace, the girls were given a more simple feed to make things easier for my friend whilst he was taking care of the garden. The feedings came to around 700ppm (Including 150-190ppm tap water). As you can see in the video I've been bending her down for a couple of days instead of tying a string to her. It's just a lazy LST that should basically do the same thing. This girl has really bounced back and shown great growth since increasing the feed strength. She's keeping a good structure and should make a nice bush. Every second feed from here on out will also contain Mammoth P for the first time in my garden! 🐺

Last week went well. She is still stretching some but stacking up bud now. Wonder how it's going to turn out. Didn't do much last week besides removed some fan leaves blocking buds and tucked some others. I adjusted some lst ties to open her up some and she is coming along. Started them in a glass of water then transferred to soil.

This strain is soo delicious and it is exactaly what they say about it. Strawberries and pears. It doesnt even smell like weed lol. The taste is like the smell except it has a slight kushy dank skunkiness on the exhale. Highly recommended strain. Smells like real fresh fruit. It's very potent weed but it doesn't make me feel burnt out later so I smoke it all day.

11/3 - Today was the first day of week 5 and also the first day I could see a visibly measurable decrease in her water level between check-ins (~12 hours apart). As a result of her drinking so much water in such a short time, the ppms shot up to almost 800. I used straight tap (7.5 pH, 170ppm) to adjust since her pH was also measuring 5.3. I adjusted her with this method until she registered 5.6pH and 670ppm (1.0ec + tap, 500ppm of nutrients). I would prefer for her pH to be a bit higher (5.8, ideally), but I will settle with this for now since the water is back to just touching the basket. Over the last couple days I've been adjusting her LST to help her bush up as much as possible. I can already see the heavy Sativa influence in her compared to her sister in the tent. I can't wait to see what she will throw at me. 11/4 - I wasn't even planning on doing an update today, but I want to note a few changes. Her root bundle is over a foot long and getting more wound up every day. I removed her LST ties in order to take advantage of the ScrOG screen apparatus (see notes below). After lights came back on, she measured 650ppm and had another notable drop in water level. Currently, I am preparing another nutrient solution that closely matches what she is feeding on now. I will be upgrading her to a 5 gallon bucket. I will be aiming for 1ec of nutrients/additives (500ppm + Tap on my meter, Hanna Primo .5 conversion). Tap measured 180ppm, so target ppm would be 680. Later that same day... So I finished upgrading her to a 5 gallon bucket before I actually got done writing the update. Added one photo showing new 5 gallon setup. Solo ScrOG test mk1 - In an attempt to do a ScrOG, but maintain control over each bucket, while still having relatively easy access to each reservoir, I decided to throw together this little contraption. I removed the lowest complete segment of a tomato cage, leaving a short "tail" beyond the lower ring to act as a peg to insert into corresponding holes in the lid. The lower ring is 10" in diameter and the upper is approximately 12" in diameter. Each ring is 11" apart. I would prefer to have a shorter segment, but I haven't worked out exactly how to do this yet. I would prefer to set the screen height at around 6" above the bucket instead of 11". This will have to suffice for the time being while I let my latent conscious work out a solution or one is provided by the community. Above each cage will sit a coated wire fence with grids measuring ~2"x3", as shown in the above picture. 11/5 - Uploaded short video showing Solo ScrOG Apparatus in place. Day 57 total (for plant 1) Day 8 of flower (for both) 2020-06-28 New week, changed the nutrients from 1000 to 800 ppm because I kept having to dilute with CaliMagic water last week. I tried jumping up the nutrients too quickly. No burn but the nutrient intake wasn't nearly as fast as the water intake. Pre-flowers are coming out all over :) 2020-06-28 Plant is still drinking far more than its taking in with nutrients. You really have to drop them a bit when you go into flowering because they start guzzling... Trying to keep them around EC=1.6 but I might have to go down to 1.4. Regardless, they are clearly happy and growing like crazy. Flowers are starting to emerge at the beginning of week 2 of flowering. I think that's a good sign. I continue to have to defoliate, especially plant 2! It's making these huge fan leaves every day. 2020-07-01 I typically have to top up Plant 01 every other day with water, so thirsty and growing so quickly, I wish it would stop.... I am posting an image of what I think is springtails. Gonna ask a grower question about it. 2020-07-04 Springtails don't seem to be hurting much. Tested and they seem to be fairly resistant to bleach AND hydrogen peroxide... They also seem to eat their dead very quickly and they congregate in clumps. They are bizarre to watch. Seem to have gotten a bit of nutrient burn on plant 2. I've kept the nutrients about 1650 but the ppm in the water keep going up because of the water usage. I keep diluting it down over the course of the week and it seems to be working.
