So I’ve pretty much done everything that I said I wasn’t going to do. Started the week out with a light defoliation and mid week I started the LST which she responded very well too. Twice a day I’m checking the pH and adjusting the straps. I’m now at full strength with her nutes and she has yet to show any deficiencies. Lastly she has shown some flowering signs 🙌🏼 this next month should be fun.

Lots of growth this week and working to solve the humidity issues. I think it's probably because of the size of my pots but these girls just won't stop growing! I think I'm going to have to consider some defoliation for her next week. I noticed some rust spots on some of the leaves this week, I'm fairly certain that it's down to the humidity. Where leaves were gathering condensation they seem to have discoloured, probably because of magnifying the light - I'm just a beginner though so I'm happy for other people's opinions. I've kept feeding her a little bloom every couple of days, there was a little bit of yellowing to the tips of some leaves which I though could be down to nute burn but I'm not too worried about it at the moment. I think this plant has overtaken the Jack Herer now, she seems to be flowering a lot more. She smells divine - really strong citrus notes, I think she's going to be tasty! To fix the humidity issues I diverted the extraction duct to another room which seems to have made a big difference, RH is now consistently under 57% and usually around 55% - still not ideal but I don't think I'll get it much lower. I've moved the fan so that there's plenty of air moving over the canopy - hopefully enough to keep away the mould as the grow progresses.

Super super frosty and sticky nugs, very dense and compact, big calyx, stinks, beautiful strain to grow the 2 plants of wedding cake Auto I have got the same aroma, this girl is being fed using nothing but a good soil prepared organically with complete organics by guanokalong and also seaweed powder, and also I added florians livings organics which is such an awesome organic super food for the plants that makes the strains performer better when when it comes the time to smoke you don't feel all that chemical stuff. Struggling to get good pictures for my diary at the min when the lights on my pictures are all blurred from the light and i dont like to go in there when its lights out time for them, i had to move the 3 mimosa and 3 tropicana from 1 tent to another and i think the light change stunted the growth for 5/6 although the 5 that got stunted have now bounced back nicely there just way behind in size to the 1 mimosa that took to the change of conditions fine, had a slight nutrient defeciency i developed inbetween weeks 2-3 and they looked worse for wear had me worried to be honest but everything looks nice and healthy now and all growing strong, PS the other 4 decent sized plants are liberty haze i need to edit the diary and add the strain in its also barneys farm, will try to get better pics and videos over the next couple of weeks as i approach switching to flower

This amnesia pro has peformed amazing, both phenos #1 and #2 have produced beautiful hard dense colas, full of citric lemony terps, ideal to use for daytime, very nice cerebral buzz. Hope you guys have enjoyed my work! Peace 💚💛❤️👨‍🌾

Week 5 for the Green Papaya from super sativa seeds club. Amazing plant, she has beautiful buds and a amazing sweet smell, ah and dont forget the high amount of trichomes she produces, and very very compact buds. this plant is great for a scrog, next time i will leave her with even more topping and lst and then fill a net, she has very potent, compact and nice buds perfect for this. Outdoor this plant shows pink pistils because of the slightly lower temperature at night. Adding also one picture for reference, that one if from a friend who has a clone of mine

Week 8 of flower is in the books and this show is quickly coming to an end. I said last week we had about 7-10 days and I was spot on at the 10 day mark. I was only wrong about the order. The cheese is ready to chop before the rest and the gorilla cookies, cherry Bomb and lemon haze will follow in due course. The cheese is a beast and it’ll take a little time to get it all run through the bowl trimmer. At least the big one goes first. Her tallest colas have foxtailed like mar, despite the late supercrop. You can tell where the sweet spot for the light is at about 10” distance from the canopy. Any closer than that and the tails begin to show prominently. It’s a good example of just how close you can get to these fixtures with a little bit of prior experience. It’s been noted for the next run😎👍😎. The res. is on an h2o2 only flush for the remainder until the rest are ready to come down. Not a moment too soon either - the pollen chucking project has stalled out waiting for these girls to finish and now that we’ll have a little extra room, we can start running our cuts in the aerocloner🤟. Not long at all now folks. Thanks for tagging along through all this. Learned a bunch about this system and we’re back to hardware mode to make some serious improvements for the next run🤙😎. I love hardware mode😉. Background/Repetitive Nonsense The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Let’s just hope that she’s not a dud like the last bean. The new digs for this run are courtesy MarsHydro👊. Their 2x4 single grow tent, paired with a shiny new 240w QB courtesy ViparSpectra. These folks were kind enough to discuss a collaboration and as a result, here we are to test out the gear with an inaugural run of autos. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. I was feeding a MKP (low nitrogen, hugh potassium and phosphorus... For the last week. Switching back to bloom nutes with calcium and magnesium. Then the final week will be straight water. Everything looks good, however i may have done a little more pruning then necessary, but they are really starting to beef up.

2024-07-20 I'm focusing solely on the Indoor Girl in this report. The Outdoor Girl will receive a separate update once she shows more signs of flowering. This week's photos showcase the Indoor Girl's journey from start to finish, and she's been an absolute joy to grow - truly an easy-going plant. I'm fascinated by her structure, which boasts a perfect ratio of leaves to buds. Remarkably, I never had to remove a single leaf to improve light exposure. I only topped her twice to open up the canopy. She grew vigorously and effortlessly, requiring just some nutrients and top dressing to keep her happy during the transition to flowering. Her daily water intake was consistently around 1 liter minimum, with only four feedings throughout the entire growth cycle. The result is a plant crusted with trichomes - glittery and gluey, perfect for extraction. Harvesting was a breeze due to the ideal leaf-to-bud ratio. I've kept her remains and continue to water and feed her in an attempt to revegetate. Meanwhile, her outdoor sister is thriving in a hot and sunny environment. I adore her aroma profile, which features only the most pleasant terpenes. The scent is reminiscent of various citrus fruits - pink grapefruit, orange, mandarin, and tangerine - with a creamy touch that's reminiscent of a delicious dessert. There are also floral notes of lavender. I'll continue documenting the Outdoor Girl's progress here. I'm certain I'll grow this strain again, as it has proven to be stable, well-composed, superbly structured, and delicious. Well done, Seedsman!

I’ll start by saying I’m NOT using both bud blood and bud ignitor in one solution, I am using bud blood on the rear tropicanna poison plant and bud ignitor on the front one to test the outcome of them individually to see the best results! I tied down and defoliated twice in the week and have switched to 12-12 yesterday so they’re transitioning now and should be in bloom by week 7! I made some extract them made some gummies successfully I might add and added the photos in the diary!

Hi all! Back at it!! Nice to see ya again! This time I changed a few things in the box. I'll be running one plants of two different strains instead of three plant of the same, so I raised the pot size to 15 liters / 4 gal airpots. And I'll give a try to a new nutrient solution! I'l be running the Bio Tabs line that I won a few month ago in the diary of the month contest (Thanks GD and Bio Tabs ;-) ). I have very high expectations so let's hope everything goes fine! I prepared the soil according to the Bio Tabs instructions. The rest is identical and I'll list the hardware here under. Also I'll try to be more regular and to update my diaries more often.
