This is the last week I gave veg nutrients, from next week my little girls will get flowering nutrients for the first time. These girls are growing much faster than I was expecting, It’s good to see how healthy are they. :) By the way these plants smell incredibly strong! Usually during vegetation they don’t smell too much, but this plant is an exception. They smell as they are already producing buds for a couple of weeks.

Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend. It was a good week for the Strawberry Banana Auto, she was pushing her 7th node on day 26 so I gently removed the top, and I also removed the lowermost 2 nodes so I will have nodes 3, 4, 5, and 6 to work with. She got a little sad immediately after topping, but when the lights came back on after 6 hours of dark she was perked right back up and I immediately started LST to try and develop an even canopy. She is still feeding 4 times per day on Silica, CalMag, and GH maxi gro veg nutes. This light is an absolute beast, I now have it cranked up to 50% in the V1 stage, and it continues to keep everything green and more importantly with tight internode spacing. I will continue to LST for a few more weeks and transition her to flower nutrients once her vertical grow stops on its own or if I need it to stop due to height constraints. Another steady week! Some serious development of the terps is in the air! 😝 Again some good growth both vertically and filling out the canopy. Bud sites are popping up here and there which pleases me as it’s turning out great for my first effort with scrog and LST! I swapped out the Bestiva LED for a 150watt HID Mh lamp. Really considering putting in a 600watt for the last few weeks, what’s your opinions!?? As always, tips and criticism all welcome guys and gals! Day 42 flowering: What a start to this update with the #3 Mango cream being ready for harvest NOW!!!. She has been maturing very quickly during the last few weeks and I have been concerned that she was somehow going towards a toxicity issue. Her buds began darkening really early in flower and I thought it looked very different to the others. As the last week has passed I have been looking at her trichrones with the microscope as they oustils had all gone majority brown too. They had mostly clouded and a couple of odd amber spheres were visible too. as the week went on I saw more begin to amber so took her out a day ago too have a dark period before trimmed for drying . She is the first I have ever had this quick in decades of growing !. The video shows her colours off well and her maturity to harvest too. @exoticseeds have a winner here. lol she smells amazing too with a really nice icky sticky feel . I will update her progress once trimmed. #1 is the smaller of the 3 remaining ladies now ansneven with the #4 beingna week behind her she is still the smallest in height. Her buds are nice and chunky and just as we hit the budswell period too , so shebshould finish with some nice sized colas. #2 Mango is a beast of a plant and by far the largest. Her main is a beast of a cola already with the side branching really picking up some size now too. A brilliant example of the strain I think. Her main is really tacky to touch and the nice smell it leaves all over my fingers is mouth-watering now. She should yield very well. #4Mango at day 35 looks very like the #3 plant for her bud appearance. slightly different pheno i think. More like a wedding cake strain but still very nice and colourful. She has been using pellets in the soil mix and just waterings but they are not good in my opinion and I have had to add megacrop to keepnher growing well now I waited as long as I dare to see if the pellets helped in flower but even using the second part of the feed has not helped. The megacrop has already begun to colour them back up to a more healthy green so i am hoping I can keep her happy until harvest now. She is pushing out a very nice fruity smell now too. I am looking forward to trying the photoperiod strains I have from exotic now and will be germinating Herz Og and Quick sherbet in a couple of weeks time for the summer run. Top genetics from a great breeder . Thank you Exotic. ###UPDATE###UPDATE###UPDATE### The Mango cream #3 has been in the dark for the past 48hrs and has now been trimmed and is hanging to dry. She will be dried low and slow now for approx 10-14 days at around 15-17°C in a large cardboard box with a steady air exchange. She has a surprising size and weight to her for such a short time from seed and is as finished as any plant i have harvested before . What an amazing little lady she has been to grow She looked a little stunted initially and soon filled the pot she was in. 20L was way too small for these genetics to flourish and at least a 30L would be my advice. Happy days , let's see what she yields dried while we wait for her sisters to join her. Be well Growmies

Week 16 Happy Easter week. 4/9-15/23 Flushing, nights in the dark with cold feet. This is week 2 of flushing before the harvest. Sunday I flushed each plant with 1 1/2 gal of filtered water after layering ice the top of the pots. After flushing they were just put in the room not in the tent. I had an ocsellating fan moving on a medium speed. Moved to the garage for the night. Tuesday flushed each plant with 1 1/2 gal of filtered water after layering ice the top of the pots. Harvest is moved to this weekend rather than next Tuesday as planned. Wednesday all three plants were put in the dark room put ice on top of the pot. No further flushing will be done. Thursday, Friday, Saturday. Lights remained off Temp 73. Rh 71% when I opened the dark room. The dark room has black out curtains, however there is l8ght exposure around the edge of the curtain. Saturday afternoon photos taken pre cut, tricomes photographed as best I could. Additional hands are Required as I must take 50 pictures only to get 5 acceptable ones. Cut from the base of her stem , weighed and hung in the tent in the dark with a small fan . The drying has begun. Wet harvest weight 253 grams 8.9oz. April 15-19 Hanging in dark room with temperatures ranging from 73-77f Rh 49-74. April 20 - 22 Hanging in dark room with temperatures ranging from 71-77f Rh 50-80. The higher humidity is a result of turning the home a/c off during the night. Since its drying time and not much to say. I decided to locate photos of the same plant at day 20 of flower when I did the last heavy defoliation and side by side comparison to the day of harvest. I don't know if this is a normal harvest or small yield for OG Kush. See last pic in week 16. She will be drying for 2 weeks or so. I have been checking the stem stiffness or bendiness since the humidity fluctuates. It does not snap yet.

Everything going well, not easy to keep the wanted shape, but i'm trying to. They look healthy, keep going on.

Starting off week 8 and the girls are looking great. Switched over to a 1-4-3-6 of the CaliMag and Gen Hydro Trio for feeding. The clones are looking better too. May have lost one but time will tell. Taking a trip out of town for a week so I’m hoping the girls won’t miss me too much. The dehumidifier has been doing good at keeping RH down when lights are off. Clones have officially been transplanted at the end of week 8. That will be the end of their discussion moving forward in this diary as I will be making a new diary for them.

Been a productive week for the runtz, had to do alot of defolition and she's still bushy asf, lots and lots of growth in hight around 5 inches this week 😀 hairs are coming along nicely too, let's see her get phat now 😀 happy growing and stay green ✌️ 💚 👌

Start of week 4, day 22. The girls grew tremendously during the last week, very nice branch growth, internodes and overall plant size. No trimming this feeding, just removed 2-3 dying leaves from the lowest branches. One of the girls is clearly shorter than the others, I think I will keep her in veg after this week and flip the other two to flower.
