Next week I will collect the last two gorillas (excluding the two plants with a photoperiod predominance) because they seem to need a little more time. March 13, Day 72: I wanted to make a video or a video to show you the defoliated plants ready to be cut, but when I removed them from the SOG they no longer had the support of the nearby plants and the branches could not support the weight of buds. I'm not complaining, in fact I didn't think I would get such a big harvest. For the same reason I only cut and put to dry two plants, I don't have enough space in my dryer that is only 50x50x120 Centimeters. However, I made a video with Harvest and a video with the new layout of the plants in my SOG. Now in my sea of buds there are three gorillas left, two cheese in advanced bloom and two photoperiodic gorillas and the margin there is a Cheese that has just started to bloom. I realized that I can make only one harvest page for each variety, I thought it was possible to create one for each plant, so I will edit the diary for the final harvest, when I will also collect the last three gorillas in my secret garden. Pheno hunt is rolling along smoothly. Gave the plants their first feeding. Top dressed with coast of Maine lobster compost cut with Stonington blend to give a little aeration. 3:1 ratio coast of Maine plant food 5:2:4. Roughly 1 tbsp per pot. Mixed in with compost and soil and scratched into top 4 inches Watered in with a blend of Neptune harvest liquid fertilizer in ratio 1:2:1 (npk) watered down to 1tsp/gal in this order: Fish: Crab: Kelp The ZB is definitely a shorter stockier plant with short internodal spacing. Originated from very tiny seeds which might explain the smaller plant form at the start. Once it puts in some biomass it might pick up the speed. HP seems to like to stretch a little more. Growing like crazy Rainbow belts looking like the model freak of nature that it is. Near perfect. 18hrs post feed/ top dress and the plants are recovering beautifully. Liquid fertilizer is not ideal as it's expensive and you're paying a lot for water. But for my grow it's very necessary to lower solution pH into something acceptable. Next week I'm hoping to harvest some young plants in a nearby forest to create a brown sugar fermented plant juice in order to get away from the high nutrition of emulsions. Update day 19 Seems that ZB HATES having it's roots dry. Really needs to be watered almost daily to keep it happy. Strange

Week 11, the third week of flowering, has been an absolute blast in our Tropical Tangie Ninja Run. Our Tangie decided to go all out with her growth spurt – she's stretching up like a true ninja reaching for the skies. She's growing so tall that I had to channel my inner MacGyver and grab some wire for an impromptu second support LED. Teamwork makes the dream work, right? Now, here comes the twist – she grew so rapidly that I just couldn't wait until day 21 for that defoliation dance. Nope, I decided to take action at day 19! In the scorching heat, after some serious defoliation action, I found solace in a picole ice-cream. Because hey, even ninja gardeners need a sweet break! And guess who were my accomplices? My trusty ninja buddies, of course. They know how to keep it cool. As if that wasn't adventurous enough, we applied a second layer of the scrog net. And let me tell you, by the end, my gloves were coated in that stickie, fragrant resin. Sticky fingers, sticky situation, totally worth it! They are 8 weeks old now, I repotted them into 16l fabric bags ready to flower. I took some cuttings incase it's worth growing again. Put some direct into a pot of coir and others in a cup of tap water (refreshed every couple of days) Let's see which if any roots first.

Temperatures for the most part have been good, with one overnight low in the greenhouse of 13C. Purple Romulan is doing well but is the furthest behind in reaching maturity of all specimens in garden. Flowers are of decent size, with adequate trichome production. Greenhouse is emitting very strong smells now, mostly a sweet skunk scent. Weather forecast appears as though it will be adequate and manageable temperature wise for the next week. DAY 155 Greenhouse 13C in the morning, with outdoor temperatures down around 3C (frost evident on rooftops in area). 500mL drip of plain rainwater to all specimens. DAY156 1L hand water BTI treated rainwater (no additives); Greenhouse held to 18C overnight, humidity a little high (51%) but dropped as sun rose; Overcast day. DAY 157 Beautiful sunny day, with warm temps; Greenhouse was 18C in the morning. DAY 158 -1C in the morning outside, 13C in the greenhouse, which is fine. Nice sunny day. DAY 159 Overnight low outside 5C, 17.5C in greenhouse, which is ideal. Humidity in check, at 41%. Cloudy, overcast day, with greenhouse heater working to maintain day-time temps of 21C (no solar energy to drive heating). DAY 160 Greenhouse 14C in the morning, 3C outside. Humidity at 41%; Clear morning, with some sun, turning cloudy with light rain in the afternoon, resulting in a humidity spike in greenhouse to 50%. DAY 161 Lots of rain overnight, causing spike in greenhouse humidity to over 60%; Will require monitoring; Temps in the morning 18C in the greenhouse, mild outdoors.
