Okay guys, now this has been an eventful week. unfortunately, I can now only visit my plants on the weekend as I am sutying in another city and the plants are at my parents house. That has translated to the little tiny brown leaf I found last week turning into 3 - 4 semi-rotten buds. So yes, catterpillars. Little pesky green catterpillars were the ones eating the leafs and the ones that have now caused some bud rot on my autoflowers. To wich I have decided to do an emergency early harvest as you can see in the pictures above. Trichomes were more or less 10 - 20 % cloudy depending on the bud and some buds also had quite a few amber so they cound't have been that far from harvest anyway. I cut off the buds with rot and the buds nearst to them. luckily it was only 1 or 2 big buds on 2 of the 3 autos I have. The remaining auto is the foxtailing one witch I have not yet harvested and am now debating if I should just do it to not risk getting rot over this week I am away or let her ripen more. The process was cutting off the bad parts, discarding and then cutting off the buds with the stem off the plant. I have never harvested before so I dont know if it is useally done this way but anyway. After the early harvest wich I am sure many would frown upon I did something even morecontroversial and washed the buds in water+backing soda, water+hidrogen peroxide, just water rince and hung them to dry with a fan in front of them for about 2.5hrs. Now I'm a newb so I dont know if this works, but I read and saw a few posts and videos of people doing and explaining this process, and also asked outdoor growers of reddit to see if this is actually a thing, and yes it seems a few if not many people wash their outdoor buds in some way or another. I washed hoping that if there are any caterpillars in the buds that would kill or at least debilitate them.. none floated off while i was washing though.. so now im scared there are still some in my buds and will rot while im drying :( i checked each bud individually trying not to break them up but didnt find any caterpiullar. i only found one while washing the leafs I had trimmed off the plant before harvesting the buds. Anyway, I have bought anti caterpillar and anti fungal spray for tthe photoperiod plants wich seem to be doing okay. A part from some white powdery stuff on the leafs, maybe powdery mildew? Anyone know what can be done for PM ? Anyway, as usual, thanks for your support and comments! sorry for the long post hehe Edit: Totally forgot to mention this.. I think the foxtailing auto has gone hermaphrodite and polinated the other plants (?) I found a little dark ball at the bottom of one of the buds I have harvested, I picked it off because I didnt knoe if it was rot.. A SEED CAME OUT! Yeah.. So now Im thinking my plants have been pollinated by the foxtailer? Does this make sense? xD

4/27 fed today. Shes growing good. Seems more focused on outward growth rather than vertical.

Bienvenidos cultivadores de marihuana clandestinos y también a los que tienen la fortuna de no serlo!🖐️👨‍🌾👍 Este diario es un relato semanal de técnicas, experiencias de cultivo y Bio preparados orgánicos caseros, los cuales llevo experimentando dos años en cultivos de marihuana interior. Esta semana LACTO FERMENTOS DE FRUTAS Y MINERALES... Esta práctica la realicé el 02 de Julio de 2020, preparé 10 litros, en dos fórmulas distintas, en una de ellas incidí en el nitrógeno (crecimiento vegetativo), en la otra en el fósforo y el potasio (Floración), esto lo hice, seleccionando para cada fórmula, frutas o componentes orgánicos con mayor concentración de los macronutrientes que quería para cada preparado, aún así, ambas fórmulas poseen todas las propiedades (Vitaminas, enzimas, minerales, nutrientes...) que se encuentran en cada una de las frutas que usé. Llevo aplicando estos preparados desde entonces, dan un resultado excelente en riegos, pero sobre todo en aplicaciones foliares, en realidad se comporta como un Bio estimulante de cultivos. Aunque en estas fórmulas usé otros ingredientes, como guanos, sangre seca, harina de pescado y minerales variados, cuando las repita usaré exclusivamente frutas, porque ya hago lacto fermentos especializados de guanos, harinas o minerales. De esta manera también favorezco la fermentación. Los lacto fermentos anaeróbicos, son los preparados más asequibles y fáciles de realizar, se basan en el poder que tienen el ácido láctico y las Bacterias ácido lácticas contenidas en el suero de leche, para disolver los nutrientes o el quelato de los minerales, son particularmente eficientes en la disolución del fósforo. INGREDIENTES: Agua pura 1000ml Suero de leche 1000ml (se puede usar más cantidad, he incluso sustituir el agua por suero.) Melaza: 125g Levadura fresca: 12g. FRUTAS Y HORTALIZAS (hasta el 20% del volumen de líquido) Paraguayo, Aguacate, Ajos, Albaricoque, Kiwi, Melocotón, Melón, Papaya, Piña, Plátano, Mango, Mandarina, Zanahoria, Calabaza, Cebolla, Naranja, Manzana. - Destacar el kiwi, la piña y la papaya por su contenido en enzimas (actinidina, papaina, bromelia), estas enzimas tienen el poder de romper la proteína y convertirla en aminoácidos, yo preparo una fórmula específica para hacer esta conversión mediante Hidrólisis Enzimática, de proteínas, otro día hablaré de esa técnica, una de las que más esfuerzo me ha costado, pero hoy, esos aminoácidos son fundamentales en mis cultivos. - Destacar también, el plátano y el aguacate por su alto contenido en Potasio. - La calabaza y la zanahoria aportan varios tipos de vitaminas ( C, E, B6, B3, B2, B1, A (betacaroteno), B9 y ácido fólico) - Y en todas las frutas hay diversas cantidades de otros macro y micro nutrientes (Ca, Mg, P, Fe, etc.) Además, el alto contenido en todas las frutas de azúcares naturales, hicieron que la fermentación del preparado fuera muy violenta y se extendió por más de 30 días. PROCEDIMIENTO: Se disuelve la melaza en el suero de leche. Trituro las frutas y hortalizas, para una mejor disolución. Añado levadura fresca a la mezcla se suero y melaza, caliento a 30° y espero media hora. Añado las frutas trituradas al barril, lo mezclo con el suero, añado agua hasta completar. Cierro el barril herméticamente con válvula de gases. Espero al menos 30 días antes de usarlo. Yo lo uso, del 1 al 3%, en riegos y aplicaciones foliares en la etapa de crecimiento vegetativo. Día 08 las plantas no están estirándose tanto cómo esperaba. La temperatura tampoco ayuda ya que hace mucho frío donde está el indoor. Pero tengo fé. Recién se empieza a notar el estiramiento.

This plant is very close to being done, I am going to be looking at the Trichomes in a couple of days,, They are starting to Cloud up now and should be done very soon. I am happy I got a couple of plants this cycle as the Central Illinois temps are unpredictable in Winter and spring.....

2/21: heat stress is starting to show again and noticed less leaves on the fan side. Turn the light down to 75% and going to start rotating to even out when exposure. Not tall enough for LST yet. My top if she starts to look healthy again. 2/25: started LST. Leaves still slightly stressed looking.

First day of week 7 Mimozz and Grandpa's Cookies are ready 😅 It's crazy how fast they developed. 😎 Two plants of Cherry Atomic Sledgehammer are getting there. Should be ready at end of week 8. Strawberry Cough will probably need 12 weeks to fully mature - but she'll be monster! Can't wait to see her later. 😈

Day 69 (March 6th) Just gave everyone their last watering. I’m going to harvest and wash everything tomorrow night on day 70. I‘m not going to do that whole 48 hours of darkness thing because I didn’t see a difference last time I did it. In fact, it made my plant under watered before drying which caused it to dry too fast. Slurricane and cheese will be washed with h2o2 and the rest will just be rinsed off in warm RO water and hung up. Before and after washing I’m going to go over each branch with a flashlight and make sure there is no dog hair or debris in or on the buds. I will be drying in my spare bathroom (that no one uses!) from hangers. Aiming to keep it around 60-62F and 50-60 RH. Hoping for that 10-12 day dry. I wanted to do a full plant hang but the tent got pretty dirty and I would feel more comfortable just cutting and rinsing everything off branch by branch. I’m going to try my best to keep the full plant intact. Got my humidifier hooked up and running RO water because with tap water it deposits calcium and lime all over the buds and walls. For air flow I’m just indirectly running a small usb fan. I’m not worried about air flow in the bathroom honestly. It stays nice and breezy down there anyway. Got the food grade peroxide and RO water to wash up the slurricane and cheese. Everything except for the cheese and garlic#1 is looking more than done. Trichomes all look pretty well done. Some of them have even burst open. Smells are all super ripe and mature too. Can’t wait to smell each individually in jars. Next week I will recap what went wrong and what I will do differently next time to keep it from happening again. (Day 70F) Just got everything chopped, washed and hanging. The vast majority of the PM was washed out but I can still see very small amounts. When they dry out I can shake the branches a bit to get the rest off. At very least it’s sterile now. There is no question I lost some potency while washing but the amount is negligible for a much cleaner product. I could see lots of dirt and other debris float to the surface of the water after being washed. And no those are not trichomes, those sink to the bottom. I could put that nasty water through a bubble bag and wouldn’t get all that much. Although it probably does remove a lot of the actual trichomes heads. I’ll have to check with the microscope. Everything is rigged up for a nice slow dry. Temp is sitting at 64 and RH is at a nice 60%.

Week 4 has started. Not much to do but wait and see how they turn out now. Everything seems nice and lush. Hoping for a spectacular finish.

my first coco grow...2 plants 1. northern light auto untopped in spider farmer tent 150x150 cm (5×5) with Aptus nutrients...this one goes out of control...let see if I can repeat this crazyness 2. northern light auto topped in spider farmer tent 70x70 cm and mainly TA nutrients Nutrients mentioned above are for NL topped (2.) in smaller tent (pictures follow) NL untopped (F-MILF) got this week the following: Aptus Topbooster 6 drops/l Aptus P-boost 12 drops/l Aptus K-boost 6 drops/l (this week added new) Aptus regulator 3 drops/l Aptus All in one 0.6 ml/l Aptus CaMg 0.6 ml/l TA Silicate 0.4g/l End of week 10 installed some self-watering (3 days off)...with coco problematic let see...final two weeks will be completely without any manual influence (2 weeks off)...hopefully staying alive

8/22 - There has been some explosive growth among my 4 purple Microdots. They are growing by leaps and bounds each day, 8/23 - So far everything is going smoothly. Just watering each day w/ RO water and organic black strap molasses. 8/24 - Brewing up some compost tea. This will be there first! As they start to get a little bigger I've made a prediction for sex. I think A238 & A239 are male and A240 & A241 are female. We'll see! 8/25- Fed the ladies with the compost tea and used it as a foliar spray as well. They responded very well and continue to have crazy, rapid, growth. 8/27 - They have gotten so big and bushy. I'm going to start a little LST on them today! 8/30 - They are starting to show sex! Still can't tell whether it's male or female...but it should be any day now!
