Welcome to the Smoking Tiki's hut! For this grow, I'm using some of the seeds I won at the Summer Buds contest from last year. I kept the seeds in my fridge door during one year. It worked very well because all the seeds successfully germinated after 48h! 😎 I used 3x3 seeds. I selected 2x3 seeds with the bigger root to put them in some pots. I will let them grow a bit and then select the 3 best plants to make it until the harvest. It's the first time I grow some Fast Buds under a light and in a controlled environement, I'm really curious to see how it turns out! Beautiful strain to grow, she ended up. With a smaller size compared to her sisters but she's a big quality lady very frosty and sweet, the aroma of this sticky flowers are super sweet and floral, just so wonderful, I love this strain and I'm glad I have black cherry punch in my garden the 5 of them with the same aroma 🔝 can't wait to croptober

She grew 16cm this week. Almost doubled her height. Next couple of weeks could be interesting 😁

This week nothing changed except for growth. This is the last week in Veg.

She grew really well and strong, I topped both plants, and maybe I shouldn't be. Cause height, I'm just not getting in my autos and me topping them is leading me to believe that they are flowering earlier than they would if I just left them. But I'm still happy with how these grew, instead of 1 main cola I got 10 smaller ones, so I'm happy, they grew strong and quick, gave no trouble but a bit of nutrient burn. Very easy to grow and very resistant some of the most I've grown so far, they bounced back very quickly with the very few issues I did have, she was really easy to turn around and if you found this to be your strain, then you'll get some decent harvests back from a few plants, hoping to see 130-160g from both plants. WOW. 1.5 day on the cure and already I'm getting the bang of ripe bananas. The berries smell has kinda dropped a little. Amazing at how fast this smell took over. Ripe banana + fruity and a deep fuel has taken over my cure press. And the bud is in jars, it still stinks.

She's looking very healthy and getting bigger every single day nonstop, she's growing very fast, love the beautiful green color she has, think I'm gonna enjoy working with her in this indoor run! Let's see what we can do! 💚 🌱 ✌️ 💎

I just added weeks 5 and 6 into one week because I didn't really have time to post last week. There seems to be a problem with my plants that I can't quite figure out. The only commonality that I changed with both plants since the last grow is the microbe Inoculant that I bought from NPK. The Black Afghan that I harvested back in November didn't have these microbes added to the soil and it grew into a monster. I am beginning to wonder if these microbes are stealing food from my plant. Even though these microbes are sold as "flowering" microbes. I'm beginning to think they are starving my plants. Also, I am technically 7 weeks from the flip to 12/12. So I may just be at the end of the flower period for these plants. I checked the Tricomes and they are mostly cloudy with about 5-10% amber. Normally at this point I would be cutting out the nutrients and letting her consume her leaves. However, she has already started to so that and now I don't know what to do. I just don't know. So... lesson learned. Stick to the basic nutes and stop trying to make this job harder than it needs to be. KISS

Week just starting off and the one baby has still not broken thru so I take matters into my own hands and attempt emergency surgery!!! I sanitized a Raw loader stick and gently pulled the sprout up. It laid over after and I'm going to give it a few hours before I try to put something to hold it up if it doesn't manage to orient properly. Any advice would be appreciated, This week just started so will edit it throughout the week.. 11/18 Transplanted into 1ga pots and gave first n00tz FF 3tsp/GA Big Bloom. 11/19 Ok so my humidy has been plumiting to 33-36% so I tried putting a rag over a fan, putting a rag in a bowl over the inlet and nothing helped so I went to amazon and bought this! https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08GQZDS9J It has a gallon or so tank and a humidity sensor so it cycles to maintain humidity. 11/20 Anyways humidifier shows up today and I kicked it up to 80% and its about 70% after 4 hours.. I'll drop it down once the babies get to growing a bit more. I'm actually worried I transplanted too soon. Shout out to my boy Jeff! And a smaller shout out to James! 11/22 So no real changes the last few days, the plants still aren't thirsty so holding off on that. I did rearrange grow tent to allow me to set up a camera to capture time lapse of the process and I had to get some power to it so it doesn't cut off when the lights go out hehe. I mean all is well I guess, I'm still concerned bout my little plants and the one with the crooked stem. Although I'm thinking the more I keep hands off right now the better chance they'll have! Wish me (and my babies) luck! 11/24 So everything looks smooth, today I uploaded a time lapse of the last couple days which if you speed thru it can see movement of the plants which is cool, but I'm stressing that my 3 way meter isn't correct. Its reading like 6-7 on moisture scale after about 7 days of being on the same water/feeding. I am anxious to water again but don't want to overwater...I mean I do feel some moistness if I press down on the soil. I'm quickly learning this is a great means to work on your patience!!! Oh and I'm rapidly losing hope for the bent girl, so sad.

6/9 I can't believe it but I had faith. The transplant yesterday LOOKED like it was fucked. I cleaned it up though and left it outside. This morning it was standing straight up. Both transplants were! I put tarps up to block the wind tunnel between buildings. It's still overcast and rainy. Sun isn't supposed to come out for a couple poke days. Chance of thubder storms tomorrow but I'm going to try to get everyone in their forever homes today. Or at least most of them. I plan to light dep a few right in the 3 gallon. I'm sure I'll be updating this after I get some work done. UPDATE: I WENT OVER AND GOT THREE MORE TRANSPLANTED. THAT MEANS FIVE ARE OUTSIDE IN THE CAGE. TWO 10TH PLANET, 2 BLUEBERRY CHEESE AND A LITTLE PURPLE PUNCH. THE 3 GALLON POTS WERE RELATIVELY HEAVY SO I PICKED THE LIGHTER ONES TO TRANSPLANT. I LEFT THE ORHER TWO 10TH'S IN THE GARAGE WITH THE DOOR OPEN WITH THE REMAINING PLANTS. I ALSO ADDED WIND BREAKS AND SUPPORTS TO EVERYTHING. I WANTED TO GET EVERUTHING DONE TODAY BUT THERE MAY BE A THUNDER STORM SO IF I DONT GET IT DONE ITS NOT A BIG DEAL AND ILL FINISH TOMORROW. TRANSPLANTS WENT SMOOTH. I THINK THEY'LL GO EVEN SMOOTHER IF THEY DRY OUT A BIT. STILL HAVE THE 50 AND 40'S TO FILL. Took a bunch of videos but the don't want to load. I'll have to try tomorrow or later tonight. UPDATE: I TOOK TONS OF PICTURES AND VIDEOS BUT THEY DONT WANT TO SEEM TO UPLOAD. IVE GOT SIX IN THERE FINAL HOMES OUTDOORS 20s and 30 gallon smart pots. Still have massive plants but I'm going to out those in the 50 and the 40. I'll finish this shit up tomorrow and get all the girls in their forever homes and if I don't have room for some I was planning on doing a light dep anyway so that will work out good. I learned a lot and transplanting went a lot smoother todsy than before. I feel really proud of myself. The last Transplant I did break a few leaves off that I didn't notice but whatever. I used tomato cages for suppirt on two and bamboo poles and string on the others. I'll add the vertical trellis as they grow. I'm proud of myself. 6/10 I got a lot done yesterday. Six are outside already. Two are in 20s in the garage. I'm planning on transplanting the rest today or tomorrow. I'll update later. Accidently uploaded lots of stuff on the wrong week. This new grow space gets about twice as much sun as my old spot. The tar stops the burrowing insects. I'm getting everything out today. I just need to decide if I'm going to light dep that MASSIVE blueberry cheese or bite the bullet and put it in the fifty. Maybe I'll try to get some help from my cousin. Plants withstood the thunderstorm like Champs. I'll update as the day goes on. I planned better this year so I SHOULDN'T have an unmanageable jungle. UPDATE: WATERED THE 3 PLANTS LEFT IN THE 3 GALLONS (1 10th PLANET WITH GREAT BRANCH STRUCTURE AND TWO PURPLE PUNCH THAT WERE THE SMALLER ONES. IM GOING TO LIGHT DEP THEM. EVERYTHING IS OUTSIDE NOW IN A MIX OF 1/3 FOX FARM OCEAN FOREST, HAPPY FROG AND ROOTS ORGANIC 707 IN EQUAL PARTS. TRANSPLANTED WITH MYKOS. EVERYTHING IS OUTSIDE NOW. FINALLY DECIDED TO GET The MONSTER BLUE CHEESE I FIMed INTO ITS FOREVER HOME A 50 FALLON POT. IT WAS TGE EASIEST BEST TRANSPLANT OF THEM ALL. JUST LIKE AETTING A POT IN THE WHOLE. I DONT EVEN THINK THE PLANT NOTICED. ONE OF THE PURPLE PUNCHES HAD ROOTS OB ONE OF ITS LEAVES WHEN I LOOKED BUTVIT WAS STILL STANDING UO STEAIGHT. I KNOW SOME OF THE PLANTS LOOK DROOPY BUT WEVE HAD SEVERAL DAYS OF RAIN AND A MASDIVE THUNDER STORM. I BROUGHT OUT THE EARLIER TRANSPLANTS AS WELL. THEY ARE OUT OF THE SHOCK. WIND IS PRETTY HIGH BUT I DONT WANT TO ADD MORE TARPS. I THINK THINGS ARE SECURED GOOD ENOUGH FOR NOW. IM SUPER STOKED THAT TRANSPLANT WENT SO GOOD! Went back at 7:30pm. Some plants have a little bit of transplant shock and a little bit of burn but it's negligible considering they've been through a thunderstorm with pouring rain and extremely high winds. That blueberry cheese in the 50 transplanted so easy and still looks like it didn't even know the difference. I'll start light dep once I get a plan. Plants are recovering nicely but should something happen to one I could replace it. I'm interested in the light dep though and I've got a pretty good idea how to start. 6/12 The plants that had a little transplant shock are coming out of it. We had a thunderstorm and pouring rain the day of some of the transplants. Wasn't forecasted. High winds moved the plants around a bunch bit they are tough as hell. Everything is out now. Suppisedcto have showers the next few days. I'm putting together a feeding schedule abd setting up a spit to start light dep on the three plants I decided to flower early. The cage now gets twice as much sun as before. This is going to be a good year. Went back over and plants are perking up and doing even better everytime I see them. I took a video but it might not upload until tomorrow. I may start a new diary for the light dep. I have a few places I'm thinking to use for light dep. I need to make a solid plan before I start so maybe a day or two. Trying to upload again but I doubt it. 6/13 Had a rushed morning but I watered the plants in the 3 gallons as they were dry. I had added more soil to a couple of the bags. The top soil is startingvtj dry out but the plants look good and we are supposed to get rain so I don't really want to water if it's going to be raining. I think I've found my light dep spot and schedule. I'll update after I do something. WENT BACK OVER AND SPRAYED A LITTLE BIT OF WATER ON THE EXTREMELY DRY TOPSOIL THAT I HAD TOPPED SOME OF THE PLANTS OFF WITH. I have the plants supported but I still worry. Definitely more than I should. Plants are still doing good and acclimating to there homes. I have not started the light dep with the 3 gallons but I think I've found my spot. Once I start it will just be staying consistent putt8ng them in and out. I need to train them anyway. – Eternity Grow Cup Zamnesia x Plagron - Semaine : Dernière semaine de floraison (F+9) Variété : Runtz (Zamnesia) Système : Hydro Ebb and Flow Nutrition : Plagron + Terra Aquatica (FinalPart + Green Sensation) Résumé de la semaine Cette dernière semaine de floraison a été dédiée à un rinçage optimisé pour finaliser le cycle de la Runtz de Zamnesia, une variété légendaire issue du croisement de Zkittlez et Gelato. Le système hydroponique Ebb and Flow s’est révélé ultra-efficace, permettant une absorption précise des nutriments et une gestion parfaite du climat, grâce à mon fidèle allié Trolmaster (clin d’œil à eux pour la gestion au poil du climat et des lumières !). Les cinq phénotypes cultivés ont montré une diversité incroyable en termes de structure, taille, couleurs et odeurs, rendant ce run visuellement et olfactivement spectaculaire. Voici les détails de cette semaine cruciale. Paramètres environnementaux Pour maintenir un VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) cible de 1,1 kPa, essentiel pour maximiser la production de trichomes tout en minimisant les risques de botrytis, j’ai ajusté les paramètres suivants : Température : 23-24 °C (jour) / 18-20 °C (nuit) Humidité relative : 45-50 % (optimale pour la fin de floraison, réduit les risques de moisissures tout en favorisant la résine) VPD : Maintenu à 1,1 kPa grâce à un contrôle précis via Trolmaster, qui a régulé l’humidificateur et l’extraction pour un équilibre parfait. Éclairage : PPFD (Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density) : 800-1000 µmol/m²/s, ajusté pour éviter le stress lumineux tout en maximisant la photosynthèse. DLI (Daily Light Integral) : 40-50 mol/m²/jour, atteint avec un cycle de 12h/12h sous LEDs full-spectrum, optimisé pour une fin de floraison explosive. Ces conditions ont été idéales pour pousser les plantes à produire des têtes denses et résineuses tout en gardant le botrytis à distance. Nutrition et Rinçage Pour cette dernière semaine, j’ai réduit l’EC de 2,45 mS/cm à 1,3 mS/cm pour amorcer un rinçage efficace, tout en évitant un choc trop violent pour les plantes. J’ai utilisé : Terra Aquatica FinalPart : Pour mobiliser les nutriments restants dans les plantes et optimiser la maturation des têtes. Plagron Green Sensation : Ajouté en faible dose pour booster la production de terpènes et de résine, tout en maintenant la qualité gustative. Le rinçage a été effectué avec une eau osmosée (EC initiale de 0,4 après ajout de Ca/Mg) et un pH ajusté à 5,5-6,0, parfaitement adapté au système hydroponique Ebb and Flow. Cette approche a permis de nettoyer les sels résiduels tout en préservant l’intégrité des trichomes et des arômes. Le système Ebb and Flow a brillé par sa capacité à fournir une irrigation homogène, assurant une fin de cycle sans stress pour les plantes. Observations des phénotypes Les cinq phénotypes de Runtz ont été un véritable festival pour les sens : Structure et taille : Certains phénotypes sont restés compacts (80-100 cm), idéaux pour l’indoor, tandis que d’autres ont atteint 130 cm avec une structure plus élancée. Couleurs : Des teintes vibrantes allant du vert vif aux nuances pourpres, avec des pistils orange flamboyants et une couche de trichomes givrés qui scintille sous les LEDs. Odeurs : La diversité terpénique est incroyable ! Selon les phénotypes, on passe d’arômes sucrés de melon et de fraise à des notes plus funky de fromage affiné ou même une touche surprenante de pieds (merci au caryophyllène et au limonène pour ce spectacle olfactif !). Les trichomes sont à leur apogée : environ 70 % laiteux, 20-25 % ambrés et encore 5-10 % transparents, signe que la récolte est imminente. L’observation au microscope révèle des têtes de trichomes bien gonflées, prêtes à offrir un maximum de puissance et de saveur. Les principaux terpènes identifiés (limonène, caryophyllène, linalool, humulène) confèrent à la Runtz son profil aromatique complexe : fruité, sucré, avec des touches terreuses et épicées, parfait pour une expérience sensorielle mémorable. Conclusion Ce run de Runtz pour l’Eternity Grow Cup Zamnesia x Plagron a été tout simplement exceptionnel. Les plantes sont magnifiques, avec des têtes denses, colorées et débordantes de résine. Tout s’est déroulé à merveille, du contrôle du climat (merci Trolmaster pour la précision chirurgicale !) à la gestion des nutriments avec Plagron et Terra Aquatica. La diversité des phénotypes a ajouté une dimension passionnante à ce projet, chaque plante étant une œuvre d’art à part entière. Un immense merci à Zamnesia et Plagron pour l’organisation de ce concours, qui a permis de mettre en lumière le potentiel de cette génétique incroyable et des produits de qualité.
