Hey guys :-) . Today the plant was sprayed again with neem oil. There weren't any more trips to be seen after the second application, but to be on the safe side, you did it again today get a cure. That's why the beautiful dark shimmer on the leaves :-). The ladies are developing well and have 1 week before I change the time to flowering. Normally I would let it get bigger and train because the tent only has 80x80 and 180 watts are available, so I will switch it over soon enough. This week it was poured twice with 0.8 l each time (for nutrients, see table above). Otherwise everything was cleaned and, as always, everything was checked. Flipped them this morning. Did 7 weeks of veg and flipped to darkness for 48 hours starting today. This will be a true test of “fast flowering”. If they take 60 days to finish I’m good! ✌️🏻💚

Well that was a special day, it always make me sad in a way, but this time, I enjoyed the moment a lot. As I wrote in a reply to a comment, things can always be better, and they are with good decisions at the right time. These are the smallest and the biggesr plant, one seed didn't germenated and that's why I had to put a Red Gorilla. Not sure I will try a main mlinning on auto flowering strains any more.... but I think I did it wrong, first I took the one that seemed less strong for the experiment, and having 2 other plants to compete for lights. FIM is definetly a technique I will reuse if needed. It's so nice to have these genetic contrasts, colors, aromas, shapes. Many thanks for all the help you gave, precious. 19/04/2024 lower popcorn buds seems dried already! But still branches don't crack on bends. Will check again on Monday. I finally have received, lately a portable microscope, will be more ususeful next year! But this confirms that lower buds might have need more maturity but did the choice to not over complicate by harvesting in 2 times, my indoor tent is also my drying tent, and I wouldn't have any other place to dry the upper buds separetly while allowing the remaining to harvvest with more maturity. In general I think I might have began the Final part too early. BTW, we smoked the popcorn bud, and it's very promissing, we liked it.

The plant is looking extremely healthy and vigorous, with explosive branching and a very open structure after some selective cleanup. Stretch is still ongoing, but she has already formed a large number of bud sites across the entire canopy. The overall structure developed beautifully with LST only, creating many evenly exposed tops and strong light penetration throughout the plant. Bud formation is now clearly accelerating, and the plant is transitioning fully into productive flower growth.

The buds are beginning to put on some weight and thicken and she is still growing upwards. I’ve been having to re-tie her every 2-3 days. Still got a ways to go but I’m really proud of her so far!

Hey everyone 😀. 2 days ago the light was set to 12 / 12h, because this time I don't want to use either topping or LST, and will leave all 8 plants in the system as a test to get many small trees . From next week we will start counting the correct flowering days :-). The plants themselves develop very well, the back ones a little faster than the front ones, but that doesn't matter at all. Until next week you will continue to get some Aqua Vega fertilizer for the stretch, before Aqua Bloom is used next week. Overall successful grow… will try to get bigger buds on my next grow for sure with different techniques…. Other than that 42fastbuds is legit

Day 43 and for a plant this age they’re looking well. All other Plants looking all healthy too. Now looking into it i should of done some low stress training. Im having abit of temperature problems but its all good. The max it gets is 29 degrees Celsius.

this went basically as bad as i couldve expected for a first harvest. i didnt flush, it obviously is very harsh, but actually not as bad as i expected. to yield a gram though, i mean i had some serious issues and inexperience. but i hope to try again with expert seeds down the line

ENGLISH VERSION BELOW Wie ich im letzten Update geschrieben habe, fällt dieses hier etwas größer aus und enthält auch mehr Fotos und Videos. Die Pflanzen haben sich gut entwickelt, waren aber mittlerweile zu groß für ihre kleinen Töpfe und zeigten Anzeichen von Wurzelstress. Ich habe sie daher in 9-Liter-AirPots umgetopft, die ich noch von einem alten Projekt übrig hatte. Als Substrat verwende ich eine 70/30-Mischung aus Canna Coco Professional und Peligran Perlite von Knauf. Ich liebe dieses Zeug – man kann es praktisch nicht überwässern. Die Wurzelballen habe ich mit etwas Mycotrex von Biotabs bestreut. (Mycorhizzae) Um ehrlich zu sein: Ich war einfach zu faul, neue Stofftöpfe zu kaufen, also dachte ich mir, warum nicht die alten AirPots wiederverwenden :-) Mal sehen, wie sie sich darin machen. Ich habe die Pflanzen auch in ihre „endgültige“ Umgebung gestellt – ein 120x120-Zelt (4×4 für meine imperialen Freunde ;-) – und ab jetzt werden sie über meinen geliebten Ebbe-/Flut Eigenbau versorgt. Ich habe es vor 10 Jahren gebaut, und es ist immer noch ein echter Segen. Einmal am Tag werden die Pflanzen mit Nährlösung aus einem 200-Liter-Tank (52 Gallonen) geflutet. Leider bedeutet das auch, dass ich euch nicht mehr sagen kann, wie viel Nährlösung jede Pflanze genau bekommt – sie nehmen sich einfach, was sie brauchen. Das neue Zelt wird mittels eines AC Infinity Controller 69 klimagesteuert, sodass ich die Bedingungen deutlich besser im Griff habe. Ich versuche, einen VPD von etwa 1,2 zu halten. Die Klimaanlage ist auf 22 °C (~71 °F) eingestellt und der Luftbefeuchter hält die Luftfeuchtigkeit bei etwa 62 %. Offtopic: Ich musste eine große Lemon Orange-Mutterpflanze räumen, um Platz für die vier Humboldt-Mädels zu schaffen. In den nächsten Tagen werde ich sie zurückschneiden müssen. Was demnächst ansteht: In den nächsten Tagen werde ich die Pflanzen toppen. Die abgeschnittenen Spitzen werde ich versuchen, als potenzielle Mütter zu bewurzeln – vielleicht ziehe ich ja ein DNA-Los :-). Meine Frage an euch diese Woche: Mit welchen Substraten und Bewässerungssystemen habt ihr schon herumexperimentiert – und was hat euch am meisten überzeugt? The plants were coming along nicely but the were to big for their tiny pots and showed some root stress. I transplanted them into 9 Liter AirPots which I had laying around from an old project. The substrate is a 70/30 mix of Canna Coco Professional and Peligran Perlite from Knauf. I love this stuff. You basically can't overwater it. I sprinkled the root balls with some Mycotrex from Biotabs (Mycorhizzae) Tbh I wast just too lazy to buy new fabric pots so I thought why shouldn't I use these old AirPots :-) We'll see how they perform. I also placed the plants in their "final" habitat which is a 120x120 (4×4 for my imperial friends ;-) and from now on they get fed by my beloved DIY-Ebb and Flow system. I built this 10 years ago and it's still a charm to have. Once a day the plants will get "flooded" with nutrient solution from a 200 L (52 gallon) tank below. Unfortunately this also means I can't tell you how much nutrient solution they received anymore as they just take as much as they need. This tent is climate controlled by an AC Infinity controller 69 so I should be able steer them way better. I try to keep them at a VPD of around 1.2. I have my AC set to 22°C (~71°F) and my humidifier keeps the tent around 62%. Offtopic: I had to evict a big Lemon Orange Mom to make space for the 4 Humboldt girls. I will have to cut her back in the next days. Upcoming: I'm going to top them in the next few days I will try to keep the tops as potential mothers if I hit the DNA lottery :-). Removed nearly all big fan leafs to get maximum of light penetration to the lower buds and more airflow to prevent mold. Should have weared gloves because it was a sticky mess :D getting more and more smell. I think i will start filling up the bucket only with clear water for one or two more weeks to flush. Think its harvest time soon. Eventually i will swap the whole solution to clear water coming week. ——————— Nahezu alle großen Blätter entfernt, um den unteren buds so viel Licht wie möglich zu geben. Hätte Handschuhe tragen sollen war auf jeden Fall ne klebrige Sauerei :D Stinkt jetzt langsam auch ordentlich die Pflanze. Denke ich werde die nächsten Wochen nur noch mit klarem Wasser ohne Nährstoffe auffüllen um ein bisschen zu spülen. Denke in ein bis zwei Wochen kann geerntet werden. Eventuell tausche ich auch die ganze Nährlösung gegen klares Wasser aus im Laufe der Woche.
