Week 3 G14 everything is great I've increased the biobizz to 2ml still adding nitrozyme once a week and a little cal mag I've tied the top in a pony tail for 24/48hrs so branches underneath stretch I used a covid mask string very handy 17th added a net but the holes are a little small and it increases humidity so I've removed it.if your running a mars or any Chinese lights as you know they run hot and increase humidity check out video for a simple hack.

If a q-tip with some rubbing alcohol can't scrub it off... maybe heat-related? Possibly, either something from air or singed a bit? beginning of rust? again, reaction with O2. process of elimination.. not too many likely possibilities i don't think. Is it under warranty? send a note to them if so asking what to do.

Did it recently. Not educated in electronics etc... It was easy, if not a little anxious turning first one on. Bar lights... single strip of diodes.. the point is to spread out light, not bunch it up, again. Due to availability or cost, 2-strips or more may end up being viable.. not the end of the world, but won't be as even blanket of light. the width should nearly span your grow area. This is important as the 90-120degree spread will only be meaningful in one direction. The point of a bar light is to have even blanket with low current, i.e. low heat. You have this sort of light 8-16" away. It runs at a low current and won't need active cooling. In fact just good circulation may keep it nearly cool to touch, but likely need a fan pointing at it to achieve that. Because you run tham at lower current and only 8-16", you don't get much spread on coverage beyond the fixture's size... ~5-8" between would be best in most cases. Diodes you want White - LM301 B or H 3000k 80cri is fine/more efficient. 660nm red - Cree XP-G3 photoboost red the 660nm chip is only ~4-5% of total diodes. added 5000k white chips is not necessary for a bloom light. May help with vege area as it has a bit more blue. I use a 3000k in vege and have no problems getting things bushy. Slap a meanwell driver on there... use some extruded aluminum, double sided heatskink tape, some wire, some wegos or similar... If you go with the diodes above, or at least the samsung with some other 660nm chip, you only need about 30-40w per square foot. You'll want your watts per diode under 0.4. Check out LEDGardner videos on drivers and wiring. Green Gene's garden is another great spot for information. also, he sells some led strip that's a bit on the pricey side, but difficult to find someone that uses the cree photoboost red diode (most efficient red diode paired with samsung's most efficient 3000k white). REgardless, his light build videos can be a roadmap for building any light.

G14 week 4 I've increased the biobizz to 3ml she is really starting to fill out and it's only in a 7ltr airpot I used a 11lrt last time and it seemed to stretch alot and couldn't see any difference imo just the height fastbuds always grows perfectly uniformed.

G14 week 5 it's been a unlucky week for me my Dehumidifier broke the little ts600 started to run realy hot and burning on the board I contacted mars after 30 or so emails and me going to Consumer rights next day I got a email saying we will replace the light for you they said I could add extra to get a better light but giving a bank transfer to a Chinese company I think not so I took the light sold it to a friend for &50 mars gave me a discount 5% then I spotted the sp150 on sale so I added the money and things are much better the light hardly heats up the plants have suffered quite a lot so I repoted gave them a little water with rizatonic a few days latter added some big bud and 3ml of biobizz some defiolation and they have bounced right back and started to put on some weight Thankyou to @nobodysbuds for the advice on building a light much appreciated I've now got a little strip of 6 Samsung lm301b double chips 3 UV and 3 Deep red running at 13wt bar style I've been putting it on in mid cycle for about 8 hours each day and it really helps definitely see the difference the first 4 pictures are without the booster bar

any 120£ big dehumidifiers should get the job done, buy one with a big tank so you don't have empty it too often. good luck and stay lit growmie. plant's looking great.

Week 6 G14 I've started to add pk13/14 late last week shes looking amazing Very strong fruits flavour ive kept the biobizz at 3ml per ltr and 2ml of bigbud she is real sticky to the touch I don't know if its because of adding a better light or the presence of the UV 🤷‍♂️
