They really took off I was doubting the size of em a few weeks ago 😁 Really struggling with RH tho, not done much defoliation, didn't wanna upset em had herms the last 2 runs so treading lightly. A fair bit of air movement in there hoping that'll keep mold away 🤞

Day 70 - 01/12/19 This is going to be a lot bigger than my last harvests :) the colas are getting bigger each day and even the side colas are bigger than my last plants main cola. Smell is still weak/normal with that lavender/weed concoction :) hoping it gets pretty strong in the next couple of weeks! Plant hasnt gotten any taller as its finished its stretch. all thats left now is watering and waiting :) this beauty should be ready to chop down just before christmas. might have some buds dried by christmas day ahah. Main cola refuses to snap even after being bumped off the grow lamp etc. rhizotonic is definitely doing its job at strengthening stems. I added a few photos to show progress from last week. really excited for this one :) hopefully the buds will be much more dense and tighter as i will give this strain all the time it needs. ive also been watering using the full 1.8L can. the plant is drinking this and drying out in the space of 24 hours. im definitely going to give it as much water and nutes as it wants lol. Same day update: Was taking some pictures to show off LST on my other diary and they just looked great. my quick one is towering over the other diarys plant and the colas look beautiful! i posted the pictures on this week also. take a look! Day 75 - 06/12/19 Most fan leaves are yellowing and crispy now so im assuming its near the end. im going to check the trichomes in the morning to see whats up :) chopped a small bit of bud from the top of the main cola and smoked it. nice little stoned high from it :) Il probably start flushing in a few days time :) plant should definitely be ready for a week 12 harvest! i get more and more excited for the harvest of every plant i grow. im learning and improving every time. Day 76 - 07/12/19 Quick One turned into a Fat One compared to 6 days ago. im gonna start flushing tomorrow and try to harvest around the start of week 12. a nice smell of lavender and colas are thick and sticky. a definite improvement over my last diary! Medium: Yep - still gonna beat on the DWC drum. It just gets better and easier every run. Almost religiously changed out the res. every week and this was definitely overkill. Could’ve easily gotten away with every 10 days to 2 weeks. Stuck with peroxide this run again instead of going with bennies via hydroguard or hygrozyme. The results speak for themselves on a 6 week veg. That’s for sure. Still save’n them dolla bills on the nutes too. Minimal nute mixing (as well as simplistic regime) and for what we’re using in each res. - gotta be easily a 50-60% savings on nute consumption vs. more traditional methods. Honestly makes one wonder why organic soil grows are seemingly all the rage. I’ve found terp. Profiles, structure, plant health and of course yields to all be just that much better in straight water. What more can I say, we love our DWC. Method 🎚️🎚️🎚️ The dueling methods were the whole point of this grow. Our best attempt to illustrate the differences between LST vs. LST/Topping ie. just how significant is the difference in terms of overall production? The truth of this test is a bit of a double edged sword. On the one hand, topping does have a significant effect on overall yield. This fact is regardless of whether or not from seed or clone.That said and when it comes to clones, you still have to be mindful of the drawbacks of further dividing (and thus reducing nug size for) main branches. Our topped clone #2 is a perfect example of this. While the structure demonstrates significantly more branching, the nug sizes are also significantly smaller. As you’ll see in the yield details it does somewhat make up for this through a higher overall weight but it was also a much less manageable plant than #1. Root mass on the topped plant was heavier and bulkier, drinking much more water than its counterpart. And in late flower half the plant was pretty much falling over. While some of this is attributable to the extremely hollow stems (and thus a carbon deficiency), making the most of the grow light proved difficult with the topped plant as bushy as it was. Basic summary - if ur cloning for profit or efficiency, stick with straight LST and grow a whole bunch of em. If I had to do it again I don’t think i would’ve bothered with topping - just for the sake of greater ease🤔🤔🤔. Then again, I’m greedy as fuck when it comes to my yields so I Could totally see myself trying to max everything out and go for broke🤙🤙. 3/5 volume bars for the rating - we accomplished what we were trying to. Yield/Harvest🌴🌴🌴🌴 Awwwwwe yeah - down to where it counts and these girls were champs💪. While internodal spacing was longer than necessary and overall bud size was smaller than average; these plants pushed out some solid weight👍😎👍. Ran er through a 7 day dry and all jarred up on a slow cure. Final numbers: Total yield - clone #1: 5.14oz = 143.92g Total yield - clone #2: 6.01oz = 168.28g Approx. est. yield: 600g/m2 divides by 4.8, multiplied by 2 (approx. for 2/3 the cabinets sq/ft) = 250g per 0.41m2 Actual yield: 11.15oz. per 0.41m2 = 312.2g per 0.41m2. That is some seriously good production right there😎👍😎. The high end avg. for this strain is 650g/m2. When you crush that out to my space and the numbers above, it works to about 270g per 0.41m2. Our actual yield still destroys the high end avg. by almost a zip and a half👍👍👍. The cree cob does it again. Fuck’n jazz hands y’all🙌! With results like these you could really give the whole grow a 9/10. It’s only an 8 in my book because it’s not my preferred high. Otherwise, any time you’re north of 5+ oz. per plant, it’s a good day at the office👍👍. Props👊👊👊 No choice but to shoutout Humboldt genetics. These beans have treated me so well and I can’t say enough Good things about the strains this organization puts out👌👍👌. Other than that, thanks to everyone who dropped by for a look and a comment. W11F7 8/17-23 HARVEST 8/19 This past week has been rainy and overcast from a tropical storm with temperatures mostly in the upper 80s. We had Hurricane Erin with wind gusts of 30-40 MPH. While we won’t be directly hit by the storm, we will get the outer bands of heavy winds and rain. To protect my plants, I brought all the girls inside on Tuesday in preps for the storm. I inspected each one for bugs, rot or anything unusual. I did not find any bugs or bud rot on AK47. The leaves have some wind burn but that doesn’t affect the plant in any way. Auto AK-47XL is 59 days from germination. Divine Seeds indicates it is ready for harvest from the end of August to early September. 8/19 AK-47XL Auto grew outside until harvest today. I put her in the 3x3 in the dark for 3 days and cut her and hung her on August 23rd. Trichomes were mostly milky with only a few amber so it was time to harvest since AK47 is sativa and I don’t want a sedative effect. The smell is woody and piney with only a hint of citrus. From what I see and smell AK47XL should be a nice wake and bake vape. I can’t wait.

This past week has been a blast! After getting these ladies nutrition straightened out, they are thriving!💚🌱💚 I gave defoliated wayyy more than what I see other growers traditionally doing. After the "3rd and final haircut" I defoliated two more times 😅 Thank you the GD community for the support and resources along the way 🙏 My only concern now is the tent actually becoming too crowded.😆. Week 30: Trichomes are cloudy and clear. I’m hoping the buds that look “leafy” fill in and stack with calyxes but they are taking quite a while, idk if the plant may be stunted. I’m considering going till September 16th, which will be the 16th week of flower but if I don’t see any noticeable differences by the 9th I’m chopping.

So as i said , this is a great strain that i love so much ! He grew so good , so comfortable , all the way from tge start to the end , 0 problems ! I had some work on the scrog net all the way on the first month of flowering ,but it was worth it ! For sure !

Going to get some soft plant ties and begin pinning to the smartpot. Forgot to take pictures. Day 51: Maybe approaching flowering? Day 52: Looking good. She's getting real thirsty. Day 53: Pretty Day 54: Added a gallon of water with nutrients, Man she's getting thirsty. Day 55: Posted timelapse but no glamour shots Day 56: Added one gallon of pH 6.5 water without nutrients.

The nodes are gettin’ tight, leaves spreadin’ out nice and wide, takin’ all that light. I hit ‘em with a little scrog, just a lil’ bend here and there, makin’ sure that light hit every corner of the canopy. You already know I’m tryin’ to maximize that potential. Stems got that thick structure, and no signs of nute burn or nothin’. We’re talkin’ flawless execution, fam.
