9/6/17 A couple VERY LARGE buds tipped over and i didn't notice immediately. I found them and i think i staked them back to health in time, no noticeable damage, more blindsided while realizing the volume and coming to grips with the next step. the reality of the bounty of my garden is dawning on me, and i am a bit intimidated. by the dry, as i am in low RH. by the cure, as i have never done one before. by killing my girls, as they are lovely
to ease my anxiety, i ordered 20 hydrometers and increased my jar count from 36 quart jars by adding a dozen 1/2 gallon jars. it is obvious some of the buds need bigger jars to stay intact during the cure. i skipped the boveda packs for now. they are amazon prime away in an emergency, but i figure my attentiveness will be enough, at least this first grow; plenty of people did it right before me without the boveda packs, and when i can pay less per hydrometer than boveda pack... it becomes an interesting decision. i choose old school... for now (mind subject to change)
end game is WAY more intimidating than dropping that seed into that cup of water. no one told me it would be this stressful!
i hope i do them well during this next phase and these next few weeks. they certainly appear to have done me well
9/7/17 I have a confession to make. When I thought the plants got stunted by the heat, I considered pulling the plants and starting over. Boy an I glad that I didn't. I didn't know what I didn't know.
What stopped me was reading a forum post somewhere and a guy was frustrated with his grow and was thinking of pulling it (i think he only had 1 plant).
Someone responded to him with very prolific questions. "And then what? Plant another and make the same mistake again? Why don't you finish her out so on your next grow you know better what not to do?"
Bingo. He wasn't even talking to me, but he was speaking directly at my situation (or so I thought). I decided to finish them, even if they were stunted dwarfs (SPOILER ALERT: They aren't, I was wrong, they were anything BUT stunted)
I am really glad I found that advice because who knows if I would have went through with it if this gentleman hadn't given me a moment of clarity.
So if you are frustrated by your first grow, I would advise to finish the grow no matter what (unless, obviously, its a male or moldy or something that DEMANDS the plant be culled) and learn what to do better for next time. I thought mine were gonna be bonzai plants. Not even considering the money wasted and the time wasted, I would have missed out on what the plants have taught me and a tent full of superstars.
Now, as I am approaching the end, I need some advice. Aside from trics, is there any other way to determine approx how long left in the grow? I need to change my nutes to end stage stuff (adding dry koolbloom, phasing out unneeded nutes, and finally the flush. ) I am super worried about getting the timing right. Besides trics, are there any other clear signals that we are rounding the corner to the final stretch? Thanks in advance.
Also, I live in a dry environment. A desert, actually. For real. It seems like dry trimming will be very important for me if I do not want it to smell like alfalfa after the cure. Any thoughts on dry trimming? I know it is more work, but the results seem better. My plan, so far, is to hang the entire plant upside down in 1 piece to dry. The only question is, how many of the large fan leaves to leave on. Some leave all, some leave only the small ones in the buds. Any thoughts will help me decide along with my other research. Thanks!

so here we are right at the end, smelling of beautiful fruits and some gassy fuel and cherry and orange aromas making it feel christmassy already, fading beautifully as i lowered the temperature and started to feed with only water! so in a few days ill chop this girls maybe weekend maybe after! whenever it suits because she is about 85% ripe! a little behind her clone sisters but nether the less shes nearly ready!

😸Week 4!! (a day early, Sunday plans etc..)..
We've been feeding lightly with every watering (we're in promix) but we may throw some EWC in their pots..the mainlined plant is sporting new growth and building symmetrically, she had almost no recovery downtime to speak of, i couldn't be happier 😻..the low stressed plants
are starting to fill out, we've been doing a lot of leaf tucking with those 2. thanks for reading if you made it this far lol, we'll update midweek..happy growing folks! 😽💡🌱❤️

The new growth seems to be coming light colored, they're definitely getting enough to eat for their size..idk..ill just keep doing the same routine and make changes if/when it gets worse..ty for stopping by ❤️💡🌱

I’m in love with this plant! Beautiful huge colas, awesome color, terps are like sour cherry candy and gas it’s ridiculous how good this plant smells! Harvest is gonna be sickkkkkk.

Removed the 2 Xs 1500's (300watts) & replaced them with 2 P1000 (200watts) lights, now running 680 watts.
These lights fit in better & have air space all around to help cool them, these lights run a lot cooler than the xs 1500s & only get warm not hot.
Started some clones.

Die Pflanzen wurden erneut bewässert. Das Düngerschema in Blütewoche 2 bleibt unverändert und entspricht weiterhin dem der ersten Woche. Mittlerweile konnten bereits einige Triebe der Clementine Slush in das SCROG-Netz eingefädelt werden.
11.11.2025 – BT10
Da mir das Bewässern mit meiner Akkulanze aufgrund des starken Wachstums in der Blütephase zunehmend auf die Nerven ging – und ich die Pflanzen derzeit nicht entlauben kann – habe ich mir eine kleine Bewässerungshilfe gebaut.
An jedem Topf wurden vier Bewässerungsdüsen angebracht. So muss ich nun nur noch den Knopf der Akkulanze betätigen, und das Wasser verteilt sich gleichmäßig im gesamten Topf.
Die Akkulanze konnte ich mit dem Bewässerungssystem koppeln – mehr dazu demnächst!

Plant is starting to bloom. It's 16 inches from soil to top of plant. The way it is lst'ed it is about 10 inches from soil. Hoping I caught my tds and ec being extremely high quick enough. We will see come harvest.

Well My friends gave me a bigger tent so I got a little more time to let them develop!
I'm very ready to take them down just waiting a bit longer for a few more amber trichomes.
I'm still feeding them ripen but i wish last week i'd given them a feed in addition too.
They look nice in the new tent, there is loads more room, and while the lighting didn't go up as much as I'd like,
They have a nice big fan oscillating on them now and room to stretch.

i think it will make em a bit better for these 2 extra waterings! Probably gonna chop them soon!!!!

Day 141 - Made the decision I am going to chop Sunday morning, and giving 24 hours of darkness before. The net was cut out of the plant, and the light removed from the tent. I wanted to wait a bit longer, but there were bright yellow tipped sugar leaves trying to poke out of the buds, so I figure it was time. She was set to be watered Saturday, but that will be foregone and chopped Sunday morning. The tent is going to double as the drying chamber.

1 sour livers is smelling sweet and lemony other 1 smelling like a zesty liver🤔. Cant quite put my finger on the aroma coming from the northern hog but shes possibly in the best condition she ever has been.

Since the time was changed last week, the lady has grown really well 😌👍.
Today I added 2 g GHSC Powder Feeding per l cocos.
in 2-3 weeks she will get another 1 g per l coco.
In the next few days I will remove the lowest shoots so that the energy doesn't go to waste for the weak ones.
Otherwise, as always, the tent was cleaned every day and the humidifier refilled.

So time flew by these last couple weeks and the girlies finished nicely. I harvested last night and they doin their thing under the cover of darkness. They all had some amazing color when trimming. I can’t wait to see how colorful they become. The 🦍 Glue pistils started with almost an orange sherbet like color and were almost like a strawberry milkshake color when I trimmed. Once again the only disappointment was me 😔, for many reasons. They outperformed my expectations yet again. I’m amazed still, that even if you find your girls face down in the dirt, you still gonna bag something……which is always better than nothing 💯

Started flush now. I'm adding Nature Delight Active Sugar Boost as it's been recommended to boost terpene production. No idea if it will work this late into flower but trying anyway as apparently it has no need to be flushed and is fully organic.

Day 32 - The girls are good , I put them out on day 29 and after a night out they get back into the tent. In less than 24h out the Gp#1 made a big stretch so I need to check her height , the Gp#2 is starting to get bushy. The 2 girls are experimenting a nitrogen excess due to the last and 1st feeding last week : you can see it on the dark green and almost blue colour of the leaves so they will only get tap water until flowering.

Great week inside this tent. The girl got her topping and then recovered over the week. There were already some good side branching and now they are being trained even more. Flipping to flower now.
