Ginger Nut cookies & Aussie music Videos Grow Diary update 27th Feb 2020 The preflowering Stretch has well and truly begun with every branch that wasn't tied down , shooting upwards a few inches. The plant itself looks very healthy and content. Once flowering starts I'll begin to add P+K to the feeding regime. We have had bugger all sunlight here for over a week and also we have had lots of rain and wind. Daily max temps have been around the 24-25 celcius range and the minimums around 15 c. RH has been high 67% on average. That is about it for this weeks plant update . Now for the weekly Music videos. ** Last week I posted the links to three different artists who were picked by fellow growers thru the Grow question that I posted asking for requests. ** This week is back to just the one featured Artist from Australia. This week's artist is Mr Paul Kelly who is an Australian rock music singer-songwriter and guitarist. He has performed solo, and has led numerous groups, including the Dots, the Coloured Girls, and the Messengers. He has worked with many other artists and groups and is considered one of the finest singer songwriters to have come from Australia. Once again I couldn't narrow it down to just one song as he's had many great tunes but I have chosen the two with the best Music video as that is the main criteria for my Diaries Theme. So please prepare to enjoy some of Mr Kellys finest The first song is a brand new one called Sleep Australia Sleep in which he evokes many emotions and anger with his poignant ords and the haunting images of destruction of our beautiful country thru both natural and man made disasters such as the recent horrific bushfires and floods, plus also the damage to our ecosystem from pollution, rubbish and envionmental terrorism performed in the name of industry ( mining, oil drilling coal power stations etc etc This song really touched a nerve in me being a true blue Aussie and passionate Animal lover so I urge you all to actually watch the video and listen to the song. this is the video link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-hY1w_c7nO4 the second song is on a much lighter note & is called "Dumb things " https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZR-eTR3Dcps which apparently was quite popular in the US at the time of it's first release. Thank you for reading I will continue to update once they are drying and ready for cure. I have cut down in jar everything the wait was 91 grams please consider that when they comes to my scale weight i wait until the main stem breaks with a loud crunch and the buds are really dry to the touch reason for it I have a very busy life and at the end of the day this is just a hobby so I cannot be opening those jars many times a day at most one in the morning and one in night so I want to avoid mold on them.so I push in a Boveda pack to keep them nice. After three weeks in jar that smell has incremented a lot be aware if where you are it's not allowed to smoke because once you open that bag or container everybody knows you open one of those buds it is incredibly powerful smoke and it is very very smooth great strain to have. A week of wonder watching all the bud sites emerge. Lots of training keeping leaves under not blocking areas. Now can see the benefit hopefully soon to be flowering in bloom.

Week 10 Ending with 72 Hours of Darkness No water after Lights Out

Mainlining was too stressful on these plants. Changed my mind to just lst and small topping. Size and color of each plant are varying making it difficult to choose what to feed. Just started adding gro nutrients. Some look like they need more and others are getting too much N. Not particularly impressed with this veg at day 43, but i knew it wouldn't be the easiest grow considering the strain. Still excited for flower and to smoke it at the end of this summer.

Happy GrowingHarvested at 15 weeks and the royal runtz will be a staple in my tent from here on exactly what I like to smoke the taste the buzz is perfect high and I'm a Head 💯 since birth so. The plant was a bit hollow didn't produce much all my errors I'm pretty positive but damn It is good . I also ran a sherbet queen . It is the opposite of what I really like I don't care for that cookie lemon mild high on the other hand it produced double and is still good smoke just for my preferences lacking ice got it hanging in a dark closet ac blasting and small fan circulating air . Then I'll jar it and maybe if let it cure a week or two if I can . Maybe also sherb top was 100 gs fresh and Runtz top was 60 gs fresh cut also I think I really did damage more than good in the flush process

day 32🌱 things are going very well 👊the girls are in shape I made a change of solution👽 and I am very happy👨‍🌾 with what I see. I'm perfectly in the middle of the flowering🌻 period if things go this way I expect a great harvest💚🔝💪 Day 33 I had to open the tent for a check during the hours of darkness (suspicious noise) I took the opportunity to take some photos that without HPS and much better .... 🌻😍💚

D65 Just a few days until the harvest, I'm checking the evolution of the trichomes and buds, we'll see what happens, I spent a lot of energy and hours I hope it will be worth it, meanwhile in my house there is the scent of ripe oranges and strawberries I hope to find the same aroma in the smoke. D68 Tomorrow early morning I will harvest Purple Lemonade, no words for describe this magnificent plant! D69 Tomorrow early morning I will harvest Banana Purple Punch and Cream cookies

Flowering day 59 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) The lady is slowly coming to an end 😍. The buds start to swell extremely . The trichomes mature day by day. Good week. Everything seems to be going as planned. Ill have a microscope tomorrow to check trichomes. Getting to the end now. Letting it go the full 10 week flowering.

Hello growers and tokers! 👋 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾.🔥💨 Hope you had a great week because these ladies sure have! 😍 They're starting to get that sweet aroma this strain gives off, her aroma will be over powering my tent in full flower. Love it! Pictures and info were taken on day 12 of flower. I put 71cm tall because that's the average between the three girls. CC 1: 78cm CC 2: 68cm CC 3: 68cm CC 1 is killing it with the double main colas. 💪 💪 🤩 CC2 is my favorite. She's got a perfect shape, nice evenly distributed canopy. Took LST great. For me that's the goal when I do LST. CC3 doesn't fall behind in any way, she's looking great. There's a bunch of new growth everywhere so after 21 days i'll be doing some pretty heavy selective defoliation. Feeding 1,5L each, every other day. Will be increasing as they ask for more. How do they ask for more? When feeding if the soil is drier than normal I give a 150-200ml increment of water. I do that until they stop feeding so much then i just maintain that amount. I start reducing if it takes longer to dry. That works good for me. The old finger in the dirt trick. 👍 Nothing like knowing exactly what your ladies need first hand. They've got a lovely green lush color. It's a delight growing this strain. I'll have to get me some more seeds for next run because this is a strain that will always have a spot in my garden. 😍 😍 Hope you enjoyed this week's update and stay tuned for next week. The aroma of wood and lemon is over whelming as I did a light defoliation during the start of the week, this will aid in finishing up the lower bud sites.. Super close to harvest now but she is still throwing out fresh white hairs so I know there's some fattening up to do. Counting these last fleeting days can always feel so taxing don't you agree? Anxiously awaiting harvest time now, patience in all good things. 💪

This week was nice. Really beautiful hues coming through, great structure , no f ups. The smellsAre amazing. I have started the ripener and cut back on nutrients - after heavy calmag week before and full feed. Aim to do this all this week ready for the flush week
