the topping has taken away the plant's power to grow and unfortunately the sun is not shining often at the moment. in the greenhouse the temperatures are still fluctuating between 10 and 36 degrees. depending on the sunshine time. i hope that she will grow more in the next few days.

The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures stay above the mid 40's℉, at which point she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes, and then let the fun begin!🤪💚 ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 4/4- Here we go into the second week of life for the FastBuds Wedding Cheesecake FF, and she's doing really well! All I'm doing right now is making sure that her medium remains moist, watering only when necessary. I'm checking her root development daily and she will be ready to transplant outdoors any day now! 4/6- Today is TRANSPLANT DAY! I moved the Wedding Cheesecake FF outside to her prearranged 'new home' which I had previously prepped by adding some Coco/Perlite into the soil to improve the texture and drainage. I then pre-amended the soil with Gaia Green 4-4-4 All Purpose slow release dry amendment along with 3g of Wiggle Worm castings, 2 cups of ground Alfalfa and 1/4 cup of Extreme Gardening's MYCOS. After which, I kept the soil moist to allow the microbial colony to populate for a week. To transplant, I first made a hole then placed a Solo cup in it to make sure that the depth was adequate, then packed the medium up against the cup firmly which leaves a nice Solo cup shaped hole in the ground. I then wet the inside of the hole that I formed and coated the hole with Extreme Gardening's MYCOS root enhancer, after which I removed the Wedding Cheesecake FF from her Solo cup and placed her snugly into her new home! After planting her in the ground all that was left to do was lightly water her in... Let the fun begin!🤪 4/8- The Wedding Cheesecake FF from FastBuds is doing extremely well in her new environment. To be quite honest I was slightly hesitant to place her outside this early as we are only getting approximately 13 or so hours of sunlight daily. Based on my experience last year growing a Gorilla Cookies FF, which was placed outside at a similar time and did extremely well, I went ahead with the transplant, confident that she would be just fine. 4/11- I'm watering around every 2-3 days right now using water straight from my well through a garden hose... super simple! I do not worry about PH as long as the water isn't chlorinated and is good enough for me to drink, it's good enough for my plants and the microbial colony in the soil will adjust the PH to where they need it and at the same time provide the nutrients that the plant requires... again, nice and simple. Well there goes two weeks for this little lady. Welcome to the next round! Not that much to post, it's all in the video(s). I had a small air pump lying around and decided to use it from the start, so it's a "normal" DWC now, not a Kratky. I like the Kratky system because it is easy, cheap and it works, but it is limited with bigger plants. I will be away in 3 weeks and with a pure Kratky I would only be able to fill about 1.5l in, for a bigger plants thats obv not enough. The light is at 100% due to another plant in flower in the same tent, I hope she will get used to it. Depending on how fast she will grow I will top her or try a adapted main line or something. I live in Germany and we are only allowed to have 50g at home, so it's not about maximum yield. That said, I dont want her to look like a twig also. So we will see. Let me know if you have any questions or hints, and also if you guys like the videos or if you prefer photos.

The only bottled nutrient I use is silica's 5ml per gal every other week. Other then that I use the EM-1 and ferments I make my self to water and spry the plant. I’m mainly relying on what’s already in the soil and what I’ll be top dressing the plants with as they grow and need more food.

This week (yesterday) I cut them down and turned on the AC. They will need to Dry for at least 12 days so i‘ll post an update as soon as I get to smoke them. I read that terpenes and canabenoids are synthesized during light hours and some people let the lights on for 24 hours before harvest. So I did exacly that. Thanks for reading my diary 🙏😊

Day 22, 01.05.2024 - Not much to do but to further guide Erika II by imposing LST for better light usage of lower leaves Day 23, 02.05.2024 - Again a slow day. Just put in some wooden pins to provide some more light to the lower leaves - soil is again getting bone dry. Since I only water with about 10% of the pot volume I think it might be time already tomorrow, maybe in the afternoon / evening - also raised the lights to ~30cm above canopies again - Erika II is catching up in height - maybe I can remove the lifting box in a couple of days Day 24, 03.05.2024 - decided to give the ladies some water inkl. a fertilizer cocktail (~500ml each) - bought a couple of longer wooden sticks to guide the leaves & branches. May install a scrog net just for better organization/ handling - removed 2 leaves in total - also I am now positive: Erika I is definitely going into flowering Day 25, 04.05.2024 - Erika II catched up to Erika I in height so I removed the lifting piece. Now both plants are leveled on top and bottom (more or less) - Decided to remove some leaves. I removed every leaf that a) pointed inwards plus b) covered other parts of the plant - soil is again getting dry. Thinking about watering them in the morning Day 26, 05.05.2024 - Gave a round of water & nutrition: 500ml each Day 27, 06.05.2024 - Judging from the timelapse of the past days (see video!) I recognized: 500ml each second day might not be enough (mind you: it is only ~10% of the pot volume). Also after feeding the growing seems to explode :D (I fed for example on 05.05., ~17:00 hours). So I decided to give another round of drinks this evening (400ml each inkl. Fertilizer) at 20:45 which is around 24h after the last feeding. - Just realized: I did not measure their heights in quite some time. At end of week 4 both are clocking in at 27cm from top of soil. - Both showing now that they are ladies clearly - so I declare "End of Veggie" Day. - Removed 1 small bud on the lower part of Erika II. Also removed 1 leaf at Erika I that pointed inwards & blocked light. - Raised the lights to match 30cm above canopies again Day 28, 07.05.2024 - not much to do but to watch the ladies explode in height: they gained about 4cm in 2 days :) - watering is going to happen tomorrow This day also concludes week 4.

Week 6........... Getting frosty Edit: on day 41,I already have amber but it's still packing on weight. I don't know what to do at this point.

Sticky has survived another night outside in my greenhouse..it was very cold this morning,; 10 C 😠! She hasnt grown much this week, only 5 cm but that has to do with me topping her, last week🙏 Tonight im gonna use heathing mats in the GH.. so maybe it will stay little bit warmer (waiting for my extention cord 2b delivered today✊) But maybe i will just put them inside again tonight, on my windowsill .. i dont want them to get sick🙏 the temp. at night is just too cold..heating mats in Greenhouse outside is not gonna help much i think.. But now she is on my garden table waiting to catch some rays from the sun..and then im gonna give her a good fotoshoot! forcast of today is very sunny so 🙌 But i will put her in my greenhouse this afternoon, so she can hide from the strong winds.. I already see some sighns of pre-flower coming up.(so shes still happy!)
