This week was a big week for the candy cush. I noticed upon watering her to run off, that in the same day the pot would go super dry and light weight. I also noticed stress in the leaves and roots poking out the bottom of the pot. It was time for a transplant. So far so good! Upon transplanting i performed more LST to help her fill in the pot. She went from a 1 gallon to a 5 gallon. She was also defoliated thia week.

Started defoliating and removing little satellite larf buds, and she’s looking picture perfect! Stoked that I have another seed, hopeful that it’s the same pheno. Feeding full strength and riding it out from here on!

Fed compost tea on Wednesday with added Bio Pk. She is still really bulking up and throwing out new pistils everywhere. She will be getting harvested shortly, first I will be chopping Stilton Special then Toof Decay then following that it’ll be Stilton.

I have finally realised that this experiment is horribly going side ways at the moment, however I wonder if it is due to the Winter season, growing outside or in my makeshift greenhouse, (when I say makeshift I mean, recycled plastic sheets, pallets, etc, I think all that aside, my forth cycle is going to memorable… currently I lack grow lights and fans, luckily I made my greenhouse self ventilate, though I am waiting for August(AwwDust) the windiest time in South Africa, if it remains standing and still self ventilating, I would consider it a victor.) growth would be slower than the warm seasons. To make conditions even harder, I do not have grow lights currently however an obstacle that I’ll correct, going for solar lights and solar fans, electricity tariffs are booming, luckily I use rain water stored in a 1000lt tank, no one is complaining water consumption, I feel like people don’t stress the cost of growing, if you don’t pay the bills and you want to become a grower, look for cheaper methods of growing, like for now… I am going to use the sun as my main light source, will get fans to induce positive stress.

Second week of flower and I defoliated again. There are small bud sites starting to form at the end of week two flower. The apple fritter has fascination which is making the stems grow interestingly with lots of bud sites.

Week 13 for Gigi! Fifth week of flower: Buds are fattening up and trichomes are becoming milky...Guys if you try to grow this genetic, keep in mind this thing: use a good filter! This plant smells a lot and amazingly good 👍 Day 86: Watered properly with all the nutrients. Rh is about 50/55% and temperature 25°C. Day 90: Watered again with half the nutrients. She drinks a lot. Guys, now it's time to talk about the disaster happened with the lamp 3 weeks ago. The lamp crashed on the main branches snapping them...but Gigi simply doesn't give a s*** about it and flowered. We've had showers on and off every 2-3 days which has taken care of my watering chores which I won't complain about. 5/11- I'm continuing to monitor the leaf damage and am keeping up with the Neem Oil applications to mitigate as much further damage as possible. I still have yet to put eyes on the culprits responsible for the damage to the leaves. Tomorrow I'm going to top dress the GG4 Sherbet for the first time since transplanting outside into her pre-amended soil mix. 5/13- Yesterday, I top dressed the GG4 Sherbet FF with 2 cups of Gaia Green 4-4-4 All Purpose and 1/2g of worm castings. After top dressing and working the amendments into the soil, I watered them in via garden hose with well water. 5/15- There's six weeks of veg for the FastBuds GG4 Sherbet Fast Flower and, with our weather finally cooperating, she's beginning to really take off! Week 24 October 10 - Daylight 11h : 8h20 / 19h20 Temperatures 14° C to 23/24°C - globally rainy weather during the end of September and beginning October. Rare sunny moment but cool temperatures: best conditions to develop mold or diseases. Even if the plants are in a protected from rain and ventilated area. It’s why I harvested 2 plants ( Break Pad Breath + Flash Back #2 ) before losing the yield destruct by botrytis. Royal Moby and GMO x Zombie Kush are still flowering. RM: interesting sativa flowering, productive and resilient. Lot of resinous flowers; maybe it will be some seeds inside appearing after an autopollination. No mold for the moment. Impressive refreshing Lemon smell. Ready in 10 days max. GMO x ZK: ending the flowering cycle in a good way: pretty dense flowers, covered by resin. Spicy and flowery aroma. I had to cut a little bud attack by botrytis. Ready soon. Last weeks just add pk13/14 + Bud XL and overdrive + enzymes Start flushing now.

Chunking up rather nicely right now, and smelling incredibly potent! As you can tell from the picture several bud sites, two mail cola's and a few other primary cola's that are dominating the canopy of the plant! Cannot wait to harvest this sucker!

Week 6 flower, half way there! Buds are starting to fill in now and getting some decent frost. A couple of tops are getting more light than others, and fattening a bit more and looking real nice. It looks like there is some purple starting to come out at the tops. She is strong and will go as fast as the soil and environmental conditions will allow her to. Hand watered in Gaia Green Soluble Seaweed Extract 0-0-17, otherwise water drip is running on same schedule. Just using straight tap water that sits in a 30 gallon reservoir with a submergible water pump running 24/7 breaking surface and aerating water. Water comes out the tap @ 7ph and less than 15ppm. I started germination of 3 Crystal Candy fv beans on 29/12/2020. I pre moistened my rockwool cubes with ph balanced water to 6.4. Made sure the plugs were just damp and not soaked. Using a small wooden dowel I increased the size of the plugs pre made holes. Than I sowed my beans into the holes. Ripped off a small piece of rockwool and mulched it up. Lightly filled the holes in with the mulched rockwool. Than stuck the plugs into a misted humidity dome, to complete germination. Shouldn't take anymore than 4-5 days to see some sprouts. Once I see some cotlydon leaves bursting to the surface. I will get the plugs planted into some 1 gallon pots. Plus get these ladies situated into their home. Cant wait! This is my first look at this variety so I have no background information on experience for this one. But I will get some from this grow, and if shes blessed. There could be a second run in the future.

Love this 1st grow. Even though its small. Hope I got good weight out of this. Smells great whenever I open my cupboard. Cant wait for my next grow green gelato auto. 😁
