Not much going on just checking the trichomes on the plants daily. Gave them some seaweed extract with their last watering. All should be coming down around day 70 of flower. Currently on week 9, day 3 of flower.

Day36, 37, 38: Seems to be growing a set of leaves per day now. Super growth! Stretching to the top. Day39: I had a hiccup with the camera. For some reason it stopped responding at 04:30 in the morning. I only realized it much later. I still don't really know why, but reseating the data ribbon fixed the issue. Day40: After fixing the camera, I decided to take this view again. The Lady is starting to show some nice growth and this view will show it best. If you look carefully, you'll see that her branches are not green, but rather reddish. Definitely related to genetics :) Everything else is within limits. Plus, the leaves look super healthy. Day41: Here you can see the stem colour better.

day 7 Flowering: Hi all . It has been the start of their flowering this week and the initial stages of their stretch period. Time to exploit the burst of growth and set them in position for full light absorbing relaxation. The less stress to get light , the more focus on creating the beauty in flowering hopefully. I took some time to do a clear out of the small scrappy growth low down the stems to focus on the happy growing bud sites higher up. With their shape and size , the flowers would have been within the ball shapes and unable to develop properly. The shape of the plants from the tip spreading is very helpful now. I am able to tuck the really big powerhouse fans , underneath the developing lowers. This supports the lower growth to head higher but also keeps the main stem powered by the very important big fans. As these are autoflowers and able to use the available light through the huge fans , it can only be beneficial to keep them as long as possible while they are not blocking anything. The difference between the strains is noticable more now with the Strawberry Pie wanting to spread her branching more . Tip spreading has kept them smaller but their nature still has them wanting the long node lengths and cluster bud structures as opposed to long donkey di#ks. The other strains have benefited more from it and in particular, the #2 Six Shooter has an amazing amount of hopeful mains all fighting for focus so should be a good example of how tip spreading really works to create productive , squat beasts. Fingers crossed.lol They are still being fed just water with no additional boosts beside the last top dressings. I will be watering again with the biosys tea but they look so happy and green that I wont be adding any other products unless I notice a need. Cal.mag being the exception as I want to avoid the expected deficits from using l.e.d , before it can slow anything down in repair/recovery. The light is covering them all perfectly and with the height still to be lowered after the stretch is done , I know from previous Mars lights, the big solid nugs will appear.... I have used a video to show the past weeks growth rather than the usual pics and hope this will be more interesting than having to scroll pics. I also noticed a few leaf miners among the other plants and suspect we have some migration here too. Not too serious as yet but before it gets too bad , I used a store bought spray ( organic) to hopefully get to grips before they do. Failing this , a good smoke bomb might be used. Some new vertical growth but also some yellowing of the leaf tips. I see some people's diaries and their plants look so lush and green in comparison. Hey ho, not gonna mess with it else I'll make it worse!

Updated the official lab result for this specific plant... thank you spliffseeds, its great to know what youre smoking... Its amazing how a 55 cm plant can yield 120+ grams of dank dry buds, important here was the training and filling the cannopy, scrog net would help me in terms of supporting her coz as you see on pics i harvested her after 3 days of no liquid and she just fell down coz buds were to heavy... and throughout the process i had problems with holding branches in one piece lol so i had to do all the funny bondages with green wire, sadly i dont have pics coz i couldn make a clear photo of how and what did i connect together.

Es gibt nicht viel zu berichten. Ich habe sie einmal gegossen und ein Blatt abgezwickt. Der Duft im Garten ist sehr angenehm. Sie hat einen betörenden Duft, der im Gesamtbouquet der Gartenkräuter deutlich hervorsticht, sich aber so einfügt, dass es nicht auffällt. Ich liebe den Duft.

12/6/22 Day 49: Starting to see preflower she is really starting to stretch now! She doesn't like to be fed very much actually less than anything i have grown so its been kind of a learning curve 🙃. Fed yesterday with nutes but will probably use plain water next 3 waterings... ph has evened out to about 6.2 and ec runoff is 2.8 and ppm is right at about 1390

Haven’t updated recently due to work/getting my forklift license, long story short I passed and now onto the plants. The gelato are looking very well so far, switched the lights to 12/12 half way through week 4 so should be another week of stretch and then we will have the flower production (my favourite part) I’ve seen some weird marks on some leaves, not sure what they are or if their a problem but they don’t seem to be spreading etc so idk what it is but they seem healthy imo.

Having some issues with get ppm levels down just switch them to 5 gallon buckets and ppm been reading 1800 To 2300 with no nutrients and Just use ocean forest with clay Pellets in the bottom

This plant did not need a lot of defoliation if any at all. I just trimmed some of the lower nodes off as they would not get all that much light once it started to stretch and tied back some of its branches so it was a bit more even. The growth pattern on this plant vs the others in the tent this aorund is completely different. its so floppy and bendy, I have a feeling I am going to need to break a lot of branches come flower time to keep it from sky rocketing to the top of the tent. This will be the last week they are in Veg and switching to flower cycle next week with a 12/12 photoperiod. I was going to try a 13/11 but I wanted to test out the automatic light functions on the Medic Grows Minisun-2, So this will be relieved next week. Been having issues with PH in the medium again and some nutrient uptake. I am thinking I will switch to another brand I have to use up, trip tonic from my last grow on the balcony. Its a bit more complex and not as easy as mix into water and feed but I think its going to help me solve a lot of the issues I am getting. Given this update is a few days late some of these pics are not from today. the clones in the photos above are from the beginning of the week when I potted them up. They have not done well at all and may not make it. can only hope for the next few weeks they pull through.
