Both Barbarian (=AK-47 x Barbara Bud) plants are filling up more and the first pistils start to get brown, which shows the plants start to ripen and go towards harvest time. The smell they exude is STRONG now and VERY PLEASANT. The aroma is sweet, peachy with sandalwood undertones and is MOUTH-WATERING. The plants are TRICHOME MONSTERS and are covered in crystals, any little touch and your fingers stay sticky for hours.

Weekly update on these beautiful ladies. They're starting to stretch upward and started the preflower stage. Seeing no issues from the transition from Athena Grow A&B to the Bloom A&B with some added P&K. I did a light defoliation taking off the lower fan leafs and really anything at the soil level. Day 85 - first day of Week 13 and she is going into darkness for 48 hours. Hasn't been watered since 2 days. Even though she looks the least done of all three, her trichomes are now a good 20-30% amber with the rest milky and some tiny bits of clear. I checked her buds on the calyx all around, from top buds to middle to bottom. She really shows a lot of heavily swolen calyxes, which I have never seen like that. I can now add that to the things I learned/experienced: calyxes swell a lot before the plant is finished. Let's see. My Girl Scout Cookies does not look like she even has calyxes. Funny individuals. Happy wedding cake day, almost 😍 Day 88 - out of darkness. She was in there for 2,5 days. Opening the drying tent she gave off a really strong smell of hash 😍wow. She has some nice looking buds and looks def. more done, but below her dress, she has some light fluffy buds. I have hung all of them now in the dry tent, after I removed some of the bigger fan leaves. One part of it, I think I want to low and slow dry in the fridge. I am interested in finding out about the difference in taste, when a more wholesome profile is retained. I bought a small tent (40x40cm), a small oszillating fan hung over the buds/on top of the tent. Due to size limitations, I have the filter on the bottom with the duct leaving the tent at the bottom connecting to an exhaust fan. Inside the tent I have a humidity sensor from an Inkbird Humidity regulator. Connected to that is a mini-dehumidifer and a humidifier. I have set it to 20°C (68F) and 50-55% humidity. I'm excited to see how long my dry will last this time. My first grow was drying way too fast in the middle of the heat wave last year with 30% humidity. The overview added to the pictures, I started making over Christmas. It was when I noticed, that I'm a so impatient, and that something must be wrong, especially in the first weeks. I get so obsessive, that I tend to overcare. Which she showcases beautifully in this overview. I hope this will calm me down the next time. Oh my haha Let's see what the final dry weight is. 09/20/2019 Going into week #6 flowering starting to plump up!,fade is starting as well. Gave her a tbls of gypsum,and ditomacitious earth as her last inputs,water only from here on out.

Day 50 Flower: So far the last few cold nights have kept any 8 legged pests away: fears averted. A couple Hoverflies have been patrolling. After a quick google search I read they eat aphids so I think we're friends. Night time temps dipped as low as 5c while daytime temps were 22-24c with sunshine 95% of the time. I keep it indoor until 10am when it warms up so that morning photosynthesis isn't inhibited. I am aiming for 100g in 100 days so these last two weeks w may be tougher to keep her happy as temperature is rising into the high 20s(c). The one day i let her sit in the sun at 28c i noticed the top calyxs suffered UV damage and caused minor fox tailing. From then on if temperatures peaked above 26, my procedure is to shade it. I've made more frozen water bottles to circulate in and out of my reservoir every two hours. Root health has improved they are looking pretty good and the water is always kept cold to touch. I haven't used h202 in a few days. She smells more and more everyday! The smell drenches fabric and my darkroom smells for hours after taking her out for the day. Day 52: Temps hit 32c high today. I had to put the plant in the porch shade by 1230 when it peaked over 26c. Circulation fan on full blast keeps her happy and fox tail free (knocks on wood) She's drinking like a sailor close to 5 litres+/- in this heat. When i refresh the reservoir i give her a heavy dose 4ml/L. Then when topping up the reservoir I only use 2ml/L. Day 53: Trichrome inspection with a loupe confirmed its mostly cloudy with over 25% still clear as glass.

Seemed like everything was moving slow these past few days then boom the recharge kicked in and put the girls in over drive really liking this recharge I deffinitly recommend it to anybody

Hello growers and tokers! 👋 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾.🔥💨 There has been much change this week!! First there was a big defoliation done, I cleaned the bottom of the plants. All the growth that wouldn't amount to anything because the light doesn't penetrate that low. Also took off the biggest fan leaves to give more light penetration. Then finally switched to 12/12.. After just 36 hours after the defoliation there wasn't much change Some new growth..the colas are stacking nicely which is good. Hope they stretch some more still.. I'm still watering every other day, After the defoliation I watered with only Enzymes 2ml/L to clean the roots a bit then started with the nutrientes again. I dropped the amount of grow nutrients from 3ml/L to 1ml/L and started adding bloom nutrientes 2ml/L for now. I'll slowly be upping the bloom nutrientes and after week 2 I'll no longer add grow nutrients. That's it for this week. Stay tuned to see how they flower. Stay safe!
