Week 7

Start of week 3 looking good starting to get frosty fan leaves which has never happened in my soil grows so this is very interesting. Definitely enjoying the ease of this system it's almost annoying how easy it is. And floraflex has been a dream of a fertilizer holds pH very well not chasing the pH constantly. All I do is top off 33% strength nutrient solution once a week, 33% strength silica calmag and hydroguard once a week then top off with just regular pH tap water. Water from my tap is 98 ppm so I'm not worried about getting a ro system.

Day 36 Done nothing just let them grow and trimmed a few leaves Day 37 - watered them with feeding. Decreased the amount by 25% except the base nutes. Added 12ml CalMag on 4L water by request of the community. If leaves curl down more, I will consider a flush. Day 38 No feed. Color changed from the middleone overnight, I think that’s a good sign. Maybe someone can comment on that 💪🏽. For me it looks very good, I know a few leaves show signs of nutrient burn but I decreased already and no new signs appeared Day 39 No feed until tomorrow. Day 40 Fed them with very low amount of fertilizer. I aimed for a ppm of 1000 but I went a bit higher until I have osmosis water . Runoff ppm was 2000, but I have to say I am measuring ppm since this week and will fix this problem Day 42 No feed

Still in the HPS tent but now they are under the LED again and doing pretty well as the roots are filling the pots out they are eating faster. Did a couple foliar feeds with the Growzyme at less than 1 ML/Gal which they seem to like. Hoping to get a little more vertical growth before they kick into flower. Also been doing some bottom feeding which I have been experimenting with a little bit. It seems to increase rate of growth and the plants seem a little happier when I do a few feeds like that in a row. 🌸 Week 4 Flower Report: Growth, Challenges & Big Changes! 🌸 Hey, Grow Diaries Fam! ✨ We’re here at Week 4 of Flower, and what a week it’s been—packed with challenges, adjustments, and exciting progress! Before diving into the details, let’s start with a note on my flowering timeline. While this is Week 4, I don’t start counting flower days the moment I flip to 12/12. Instead, I wait for the plants to show true signs of bloom. It’s a small but significant distinction that keeps things accurate and aligned with the plants’ development. 🌱 Defoliation: Timing is Everything! Defoliation is a critical part of the flowering stage, and I typically wait until Day 21. However, this week, I tackled it earlier on Day 17 because: 1️⃣ The room was simply too full. 2️⃣ And most importantly—the Papaya Zoap had other plans! She’s a fighter—determined, defiant, and constantly reaching for the moon. Despite intense training like super cropping, she’s still pushing upward, nearly outpacing the LED lights. Challenges like this remind us of a simple truth: gardening mirrors life. It’s about resilience, adaptation, and unwavering determination. 💪 This week, I added a second SCROG layer. While this net will support the flowering colas, it’s also there to strategically manage the Papaya Zoap. Why? Because experience has taught me that if she grows out of the LED’s range, she won’t finish properly—and that could disrupt the balance for every other plant in the tent. It’s all about teamwork, even in the garden. 🌟 Defoliation was intense, removing nearly all the leaves with stems to clear space and boost airflow. The tent now looks dramatically different! My ladies were suffering from light stress but i solved the issue before any real damage was caused. I have two pheno types here & you can clearly see the indica / sativa I'm feeding one on greenhouse feeding bio base feed & enhancer And the other is being fed exclusively on SHOGUN Both are still doing amazing in their own ways. No problems. Just happy veggies 💚

The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures stay above the mid 40's℉, at which point she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes, and then let the fun begin!🤪💚 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 8/13- Week Two of flower is here for the FastBuds Wedding Cheesecake FF, and I must say how thoroughly impressed I am so far with this strain! It has withstood attacks by insects (leaf hoppers and Japanese Beatles), intense heat and humidity (110℉ heat indexes with 90+% RH) and multiple splits of two of her main branches at the trunk, and yet has grown into the 'Beast from the East' reaching over EIGHT feet in height and spreading her branches out to an enormous SIX foot diameter! Our weather has cooled off after last weeks tropical system passed and it's nice to have a much needed break from the heat and humidity! 8/15- I am continuing to water daily with 5-8 gallons of well water from the garden hose. Today, I top dressed the Wedding Cheesecake FF with 3 cups of Gaia Green 2-8-4 Power Bloom which I watered in with well water from the hose. I then applied 1/2 gallon of a nutrient mix I made up in 2 1/2g of well water consisting of: 1/4 cup Neptune's Harvest Seaweed(kelp) plant food and 2 1/2 tsp. of Plantonics Amino Bliss. While I was under the canopy I also removed a bunch of scraggly small, thin branches that were anywhere from 12" to 20" long and would never had amounted to anything worthwhile. 8/17- We had a couple of passing light rain showers today which didn't provide a lot of rain so I went ahead and watered the Wedding Cheesecake Fast Flower with approximately 5g of well water just to make sure that she didn't get thirsty. 8/19- Thunderstorms yesterday and today have taken care of my watering duties and all I really had to do today is to remove some yellowed and dead leaves throughout the canopy. Hi guys A bit late on this sorry guys been a mad week. So they grew big and are starting to explode with new growth. I bent over all the fabric pot plants other than 1 cheese that is a slow grower so ill leave her alone the rest will be getting lst as they grow three the week. Both pot noodle mine and wifeys have been fimmed and lsted. Wifeys plant is doing better than mine but I dont mind both are looking good. I'll keep you updated Happy growing guys 👌💪💚

Day 23 - Annoyingly, one of the main shoots snapped off after I pegged it down. It was fine when I left it, but as it is such a vigorous grower, it snapped off under the pressure of its own growth. All is not lost, as I will top it 4 times instead of my usual 3, to make up for the lost buds. This plant appears to be a BEAST so I think she can take it no problem. I should end up with 24 glorious main colas and a load of b-grade for the hash making pile! I gave her around 2 litres of treated water (see germ page for details). Around 500ml directly into the base of the plant, and the rest spread around the pot. It's important during this late vegging stage to water into the edges of the pot as much as possible, and encourage maximal root spread. Big roots = big fruits She's starting to smell earthy! Day 28 - she doesn't need any water today. The pot is still heavy. She's growing fast, so I'm confident I can top her one more time. I've pegged down 4 of the arms into a circle shape around the edge, and tied two arms together pointing vertically straight up. It should look stunning in a couple of weeks!
