CannaArchive Light Schedule:
24/0 (LED, low intensity for seedlings)
Environment:
Temperature: ~22–24 °C
Humidity: initially high (around 70–85% RH), later reduced
Watering / Feeding:
Only very light watering was done during week 1 to keep the medium slightly moist. No nutrients were used. A small amount of CalMag was added after transplanting.
Observations:
All three seeds germinated successfully and entered the seedling stage. However, early development showed mixed results.
One seedling looks healthy and stable so far. One seedling is still questionable and shows weak development. The third seedling is declining and may not recover.
Issues observed include weak stems, slow growth, and yellowing cotyledons on some plants.
Reflection / Learning:
In hindsight, the combination of new coco tabs and high humidity for too long may have caused early stress.
Notes:
This week was mainly about observation and damage control. The focus moving forward will be on improving early seedling conditions and avoiding the same mistakes in future starts.

CannaArchive Environment:
Seedlings were kept in a warm and stable environment with gentle airflow. Light intensity was kept low to moderate to avoid stress during the early seedling stage.🌤️
Watering:
Watering was done very cautiously. The medium was only lightly moistened when needed, making sure it never stayed too wet. No nutrients were added during this week.💧
Observations:
Germination itself was successful, but Week 1 turned out to be more challenging than expected.
Out of three seedlings, two plants were lost during the seedling stage.❌🌱
They showed very weak early development, limited root growth, and instability shortly after emerging from the soil. Unfortunately, both seedlings collapsed and could not recover.
The remaining plant stayed alive and showed better stability, although overall growth is still slower than expected for this stage 🤞🌱.
Notes:
This week was mainly about observation and learning. It became clear how critical the very early seedling phase is.
The issues seem to be related to early root development rather than feeding or light stress. The germination process will be simplified in future runs to reduce stress and improve consistency going forward 💪🌿.

The plant was grown in a 1 L pot and watered carefully with around 300 ml per watering, depending on pot weight.
Only water + CalMag (Advanced Nutrients) was used during this week. No base nutrients were added.
Observations:
During Week 2, the Jelly Donutz was moved into the grow tent, which helped the plant recover very well from the difficult seedling stage. Growth stabilized quickly, and the plant continued its development in a much more normal and healthy way.
Leaf color looks healthy, structure improved noticeably, and overall vigor increased throughout the week.
Even though temperatures were slightly cooler, the plant adapted well and showed no further signs of early stress.
Training / Work Done:
No training was applied. The focus was fully on recovery and establishing stable vegetative growth.
Notes:
Week 2 was an important recovery phase. With stable conditions and gentle feeding, the plant built a solid foundation for stronger vegetative growth in the following weeks.

CannaArchive This week marked the full transition into active bud development 🌸
The plant has completely finished stretching and is now focusing its energy on building buds and increasing resin production.
• Final height stabilized around ~100 cm
• Stretch fully completed
• Energy directed into bud growth and trichome production
Bud sites are now clearly developing across the canopy, though they are still in the early stages of stacking. Trichome production is steadily increasing, with a light frosty layer already visible on the sugar leaves ✨
Canopy management was adjusted this week. After a light defoliation in the previous week, additional leaves were removed and the plant was lollipopped to clean up the lower growth ✂️
Toward the end of the week, branches were gently spread apart using wires to improve light penetration. This significantly improved light distribution:
• Each main branch now receives ~800+ PPFD ☀️
• Reduced shading compared to previous weeks
Light intensity remains high and well tolerated, with light praying still visible, indicating the plant is comfortable under the current setup.
Water demand remains high:
• ~4L every 2 days based on pot weight 💧
Feeding this week:
• 1x Orgatrex
• 1x Greenhouse Bio Enhancer
• Otherwise water + BioBizz CalMag
Environment:
• ~24,8°C temperature
• 47–50% RH 🌡️
Aroma has developed noticeably this week. The plant now produces a very sweet, jam-like scent, something unique and very pleasant, standing out compared to previous runs 🍓
Overall this week marks the beginning of real bud formation, with increasing resin production, improved canopy structure, and a very promising aroma profile 🍩🔥

CannaArchive The plant has now fully transitioned into mid flower and is focusing entirely on bud production and resin development 🌸 Vertical growth has completely stopped and the structure remains stable at around ~100 cm.
• Stretch fully finished
• Bud production increasing steadily
• Stronger aroma developing throughout the canopy
Light intensity remains high at ~1000 PPFD ☀️ and the plant continues to handle it well.
Water demand stayed consistent:
• ~4L every 2 days using RO water 💧
Feeding this week was intentionally kept very simple:
• BioBizz CalMag only
• No additional nutrients
Environmental conditions became slightly cooler:
• ~24°C temperature
• 50–55% RH 🌡️
Bud development is progressing nicely. Instead of becoming extremely wide already, the flowers currently seem to be developing more in length, giving the plant a very unique structure across the canopy 🌿
Trichome production continues increasing steadily and the aroma became significantly stronger this week ✨ The smell is difficult to describe, very sweet, somewhat jam-like and fruity, with a unique “confiture” character unlike previous grows 🍓
Overall the plant looks healthy, balanced and fully focused on flower production. Resin and aroma are now becoming a major part of the grow experience 🍩🔥

CannaArchive This week the Jelly Donutz clearly entered the heavy resin and terpene production phase 🍩✨
Buds are stacking nicely across the plant and the overall flower formation became much more pronounced.
• Stretch completely finished
• Focus fully shifted toward bud swelling and resin production
• Spear-shaped flowers continue developing across the canopy
The structure remained unchanged at around ~100 cm, confirming that vertical growth has fully stopped. Instead, the plant is now investing all energy into flower mass and trichome coverage 🌸
One of the most noticeable changes this week was the increase in frost production ❄️
Sugar leaves are now heavily coated and trichomes continue spreading deeper into the buds and surrounding leaf material.
The aroma also became significantly louder 👃🔥
The terpene profile is difficult to describe but extremely unique, sweet, fruity and very reminiscent of jam or fruit confiture, with a candy-like background typical of the Jelly Donutz lineage.
Light intensity remained high:
• Top colas receiving up to ~1100 PPFD
• Lower canopy still receiving ~800–1000 PPFD ☀️
Despite the strong light intensity, the plant continues handling it well with only minimal signs of stress.
Water demand remained stable:
• ~4L every 2 days 💧
Feeding this week was intentionally simple:
• RO water + BioBizz CalMag only
Environmental conditions stayed consistent:
• ~24°C temperature
• 50–55% RH 🌡️
No major training or defoliation was performed this week.
The branches were only slightly adjusted and supported with stakes to improve spacing and light penetration through the canopy.
Overall the plant looks healthy, increasingly resinous and very aromatic, with the flowers now entering the stage where density and terpene production begin accelerating noticeably 🍓🔥
While I have not tasted this genetic yet, the smell that comes out of my tent is out of this world. You'll sure have fun with it. Good fortune und happy growing! 🌱
Love to see J. Donutz. One of the best smokes since i'm showing my grows here. I would say after Strawberry Lobster, the Jelly Donutz is on the second Place. And she had some great others Strains to beat. I hope your Lady will be fire aswell.
@Stony_German, Appreciate that a lot 🙏 Jelly Donutz really seems like something special. After hearing that, I’m even more excited to see how she turns out, hoping she’ll be just as fire 🔥
@Kushycat, Their purpose is to reduce evaporation, keep moisture in the substrate, protect the soil surface, The felt/vlies material is breathable and water-permeable, so it doesn’t suffocate the plant or block airflow, air still reaches the root zone normally.
got it frome the site I purchased them, hope i could help. 😊
@CannaArchive, Ah, okay, I see. That's right, the water runs out there too, so of course it has to be possible to transport it in the other direction as well. I hadn't thought of that.
