🇺🇸 Week 9 of Growth – Mother Gorilla 🇺🇸 Hey everyone, we’re back for Week 9 of growth for the Mother Gorilla from Royal Queen Seeds. This week wasn’t great—the plant struggled to recover after the defoliation. I had major pH fluctuations all week, which really slowed down growth. Now at Week 9, I really want to switch to flowering, but the plant isn’t developing well enough. For the past three weeks, things haven’t been going smoothly, and it’s frustrating. This morning, after returning from the weekend, pH had risen to 6.4, which is way too high for hydro at this stage. So I flushed the reservoir and started fresh with a new, properly adjusted nutrient solution. I kept all the nutrients the same, and all other parameters remain unchanged. Now, my main focus this week is keeping the nutrient solution stable so the plant can resume healthy growth. Nothing else to report—just pH fluctuations and slowed growth. The plant really needs to regain strength before flowering, or it’ll be a problem. See you next week! 🤘😎

The Seriously Old School strain from Serious Seeds is a hybrid created by crossing two renowned cannabis strains: AK-47 and Warlock. AK-47 is a Sativa-dominant hybrid with a complex genetic heritage involving Colombian, Mexican, Thai, and Afghani strains, known for its potent effects and sweet, earthy aroma. Warlock, on the other hand, is an Indica-dominant strain derived from Afghani Skunk genetics, offering a relaxing experience with a fruity and spicy flavor profile. This hybrid strain is feminized, meaning it produces only female plants, making it a reliable choice for growers. It has a flowering period of about 8–10 weeks and can be cultivated indoors or outdoors, offering moderate height and yielding dense, resin-rich buds. The combination of the AK-47’s uplifting effects with Warlock’s calming properties makes it a balanced strain that appeals to both recreational and medicinal users. If you're interested in growing or learning more, you may explore resources at Serious Seeds or reputable seed retailers.

Ventilation - Cloudline Heating and fan - Ceramic heater Aroma - Carbon Filter Organic soil - includes 3 month of feeding just add water ONLY when the pot is dry otherwise you will be flooding the plant with nutrients. Lights - LED 1000 Watts ( True Draw Power is 140watts). LED if you are worried about cost and heat, it does not emit heat like HPS. PH meter and dry and wet meter for the soil. Temperature and humidity gauges PH Up and PH down to fix the tap waters PH to 6.2 before watering. (If your using tap water you must let it sit for 24 hours with lid open before watering plants. Notes: Do NOT allow humidity to reach more than 60 percent in the room. Mold will grow on your soil. Temperatures is high I need to bring it down to 71-75 Pots - 7 Gallon Pots Growing two Auto seeds in one 7 gallon pot 🤞 Low stress straining

📆 [27.08. - Day 1] 💬 Going to change the light cycle to 18/6 tomorrow, i want good temperature during the night for MC 2 to pop. I hope she will do so tomorrow... 💬 MC1 is looking healthy. 💦 Watered 10ml filtered rainwater per plant 📆 [28.08. - Day 2] 💬 Looking good so far. Im going to be taking clones anyway, so it would be fine with having just one plant. We will see if MC 2 makes it. - Adjusted lights from 24/0 to 18/6 cycle 💦 Watered 10ml filtered rainwater per plant 📆 [29.08. - Day 3] - Nothing - 📆 [30.08. - Day 4] 💦 Watered 10ml filtered rainwater per plant 📆 [31.08. - Day 5] 💦 Watered 20ml filtered rainwater 📆 [01.09. - Day 6] 💬 Noticed low temperature (23 Celsius). Raised the plant up about 20cm. 📆 [02.09. - Day 7] - Nothing - 💬 Waiting for root development before i start watering (probably around Day 10-12)

WEEK 3 of flower, A lot went on this week. The watering's in between feeding were made up of CAL MAG and SILICA and I boosted the P & K in the feeding, another round of defoliation and a deep watering after the feeding dried up from last week. I have seen a minuscule amount of nutrient burn only on a few leaves, 1 or 2 at most. It looks like the increase in canopy can handle the extra food, If you see the time lapse it was in 8 days and the stretch is very apparent a super speed version at the end ala Gary Numan,

👉I used the seedling solution 3-4 days too long and the plant looked like it was starting to have issues. I mixed some early growth solution and amost immediatly the plant looked happier and started to take off. It got no stretch so I anticipate the plant will be another short bush.

So this plant is phenomenal with her recovery abilities. At this point, she recovered from her previous topping only 7 days ago, and grown the final 2 inches I was waiting for. As of 4/26, she is now on 12/12. Additional nutrients will be added to her for her flower period. Time-lapse again had an error, this time, I swear, it was not me. Looks like the camera and server stopped communicating until both were restarted. So as a reference, this plant is now 10 weeks from seed. She has been topped 3 times for a total of 8 crowns. I expect harvest to be approximately 10 weeks from now. But we all know how far expectations can take us.

Hey two weeks ago me.👏monitor👏and👏correct👏your👏PH👏 Over the past week we've gotten our ph back in balance and have had an explosion of growth. Shes so shaggy at the moment but shes definitely enjoying all those lush leaves and the photons they gobble up. I did pick up on some red stems which led me to micro-nutrient deficiency so I picked up some Dutch Science Nutrients Cal-Mag and will be adding that to every plants feeding plan going forward. I'm gonna let this one stay shaggy for a bit the light doesn't seem to have any trouble penetrating and reaching the flowers so let her enjoy the locks while she can. Soon...... snip snip. In adjusting some LST I accidently broke a stem and topped her. I don't think it will make that much a difference at this point. At least I hope not.😎😎😎
