Week 3 is done and this girl had an interesting week. I noticed her yellowing tips on day 17 but only on the older growth? I'm stumped, surely it isn't the light intensity, still only at 450ish umols. The pot is always weighty, could it be an over water? Her sisters don't seem phased at all. As for environment, today I've turned the ventilation fan on 24hrs with no breaks. I started getting paranoid that hour on hour off is not doing them any favors and I'm just gonna have to suck it up and bare the brunt of the power bill. This will also drastically reduce the RH, which I'm not totally sure of the effects it will have on the girls. Low RH has got to be better than RH too high, right? 🤷‍♂️

Great week,.. put some real size on and can honestly see the buds growing daily, check and feed in a morning and at night and can visibly see a difference,.. ones gone purple ones stayed green but both look healthy, really happy so far, roll on next week 👌

6 Blütewoche: In der 6 Blütewoche habe ich bei zwei meiner Ladys Cal-Mag Mangelerscheinungen festgestellt, die ich mit jeweils 1.25 ml cal-mag Lösung in 1l Wasser gegeben habe. Ansonsten wachsen und gedeihen die hübschen, die Buds fangen an frostig zu werden, ich hoffe das in den letzten 2 Wochen der Blüte die Buds noch an Größe zunehmen. Ansonsten bin ich sehr gespannt wie sich die Ladys noch entwickeln werden. Ich werde euch auf den laufenden halten, viel Dank an euer Interesse. Bis next Week

Favoritas de momento: La #MerryBerry 3 huele muy muy diferente. No la he acabado y creo que ya quiero repetirla 😅 Cultivo fácil, estructura, mucha resina. También top la #BlueberryMuffins 1 apuntando buena estructura, producción y resina! La #weddingcake 2 y 3 mejoraron tras la apical y en Stretch juntaron nudo, 2 con con más resina. La #ChocolateMintOg 1 solo es porra principal, pero parece tirar bien de resina. La #Gorilla está por ver, pero también tiene un olor peculiar desde hace semanas.

Didn't have a lot of time this week so she missed her waterings for a couple of days, also didn't empty the dehydrator so humidity was up a few days. Installed a second cheap blurple led on the side, but doubt this will really help much. Having some trouble keeping temps up as winter is coming and I dont have a heater in my garage

Now that the plants are in full bloom the scent is getting stronger by the day. I'm already picking up strong fruity aromas, filling the room each time I open the G-Tools. It's nice to see how the different pheno's develop. Trichome Queen is definitely a hash plant. The resin is growing everywhere, also on the bigger fanleafs. She will be an excellent candidate for a nice rosin extract. The other two just focus on growing buds and looking awesome at the moment. I'm easing up on the nutrient this week as I detected some brown spots on the top leafs. Might be nutrient related but it could also be due to the distance of the lamp. It's raised to the top of the growbox but still too close to the canopy in my opinion. Maybe I should have done some more LST, or maybe I need to get less greedy and not try to cram three plants in a small growbox 😅. Let's see what happens in the coming week. Welcome to my Fast Buds sponsored shootout and living organic soil v coco side by side. I also plan to use this grow to my full advantage regarding a few age old nagging questions about methods. I have had a keen interest in L.O.S ( supersoil) since reading a few threads a while back on how amazing and productive it can be. After too much research and procrastinating I had to give it a go. I have been a decades coco/nft grower and recently threw my hat in the rdwc ring too. I have avoided soil due to the overwatering worry ( heavy handed chimp brain !) and the best potting soil/feeds. Catching up on the advances in indoor soil gardening and organics led me too subcools supersoil recipes to name a few but being a town dweller with farms everywhere around me still drew blanks on a lot of the ingredients needed and where the hell I could even begin to get them from. Thankfully , commercial savvy has now made buying it in ready to use and with a full range of beneficial bacteria ect available in amendments from a grow shop here in the uk. ecothrive have realised the potential for us to dive into this medium with all the mixing , measuring and resourcing. I bit the bullet and £150 later I now have 4 x37Litre pots that will be used for as long as I want to feed the soil for without EVER needing nutrients again potentially. The coco has also had charge mixed in to encourage the bennies to colonize there too. I will be using the shogun nutes that I know do the business with coco to compare with for yield , growth and taste. I have 3 seeds each of 4 Fast Buds Strains to use as a control for the grow and am journaling each strain in their own diaries. This statement will be used to start each one as the information is identical at this point but following this I will do them individually. I am now starting their second week since opening the seed packets , straight into soaked and shook root riot cubes and into the heated propagator. They had all showed their heads by end of day 3 and a couple needed helmet surgery to open up without being hindered . I have has them in the prop for a few days but they needed to get settled as they were popping roots out all over the cubes. They have now been in their final pots for 2 days complete and starting their 3rd today at day 8 since planting in cubes. I am impressed with the speed and success of these girls already (12 of 13 germinated) . Well done fast buds. So here we go folks , any comments , ideas ,questions , advice are always welcome and I hope we can have some fun experimenting with defol v non defol , topping v fimming v bending and any other curiosities along the way.
