Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Day 84-91 (Day 3F-10F) (Day 6F) I’m giving a final foliar spray of Velokelp tonight before I start to see buds develop. Forgot to water today as I didn’t have any RO and bbb#1 was slumped and droopy. I decided to just water everything with tap water. I’ve been doing quite a bit of research on using city tap water with organics and it shouldn’t disturb the microbiology very much at all. And it will actually help smokability and ash color because of the extra CaCO3 in it. The higher 7.8 pH will also lockout heavy metals like aluminum as well. (Day 7F) Plants look just fine and the pH fluctuation didn’t make any difference at all. I’m going to discontinue the use of RO water for the rest of my run and all subsequent runs. (Day 8F) I’m defoliating small amounts of leaves and sucker branches but this thing is out of control. Every 12-18 hours I see noticeable growth. I want to do a heavy strip around day 21. Starting to see budlets and pistil clumps form! These plants don’t seem like huge stretchers but I’m still anticipating quite a jump in the next few weeks. (Day 10F) Everything is looking just perfect. I’m surprised how fast these 10 gallon pots are drying out now. They go from soaked to light and airy within a few days. Hopefully I can make it the next 2 weeks without seeing any N or Mg deficiencies.

Hiii guys!! Everything's going! Flowering .. bud sights getting bigger. Plant stopped growing more leaves .. isn't getting any taller. BDM 1 has more bud sights but they are smaller and BDM 2 has bitter bud sights but there are less. So you guys can see a comparison between the all natural and the stress training . Let's see if BDM 1 catches up! Stay tuned fam!

Day 64: I've been on vacation for four days now. However, I was able to keep an eye on everything remotely using the spiderfarmer app. They look great. The Pink Cookies and the Purple Kush have grown quite a bit taller. The buds have generally grown larger and the first frost is visible. I watered all the plants with 2 liters of water mixed with fertilizer and Cal Mag. More shoots have also woven into the web. Day 65: Not much has changed since yesterday. The plants look healthy and happy. I lowered the light by 10 cm. I hung the fan over the lamp and set it to a faster speed. The flowers look beautiful. Since the Pink Gelato is growing taller now, I had to adjust the humidifier a bit. What varieties are you currently growing? Day 66: The girls are doing well! Today I defoliated the plants again. I decided to remove some of the leaves so that the top buds would grow nicely and I'd have as few popcorn buds as possible. I hope it wasn't too much. I also watered all three plants with 2 liters of water mixed with Hesi-Bio-Bloom and Cal Mag. Unfortunately, it's still quite warm in the tent. Do you have any ideas how I can get the temperature down? Day 67: Everything's still going well. They've taken the defoliation well so far and look healthy. Day 68: Today I gave them another 2 liters of water with fertilizer and cal mag. They look beautiful and have another 5-6 weeks to develop the flowers! Day 69: Today, all three girls received 2 liters of water with fertilizer and Cal Mag. I also raised the Purple Kush and created a raised area underneath it. I also increased the humidity to counteract the heat. Day 70: Today, all three girls were given 2 liters of water with fertilizer and CalMag. Otherwise, not much has happened. The buds are getting bigger and bigger. Unfortunately, it's still too hot in the tent—I hope it cools down soon!

Today we are into week 5 of bloom with this queen in the 2x2 I am lovinng and let me say that againi loving this grow this plant just everythuing about the 2x2 and the living soil! I went ahead and got risky giving th plant some light nutrients this week wirth the tastey terps from advanced nutrients, just giving her a little extra organic vitamins. From here on out I'll be giving her just water. but let me say this toooo. I am in LOVE with Roots ORGANICS baby the top soil feed ive gaven this plant has been awesome she is loving it every day, its been a game changer for me. much love happy growing

Virtually no larfs, only the very first lower buds.. this trim was way more easy and the yeald pretty amazing for the plant dimension.

3rd week now about to setup filter and extractor fan also will be starting LST in a day or 2. Everything is going well so far for a first grow hope it stays that way. Also added the humidifier at the weekend which has upped the humidity 15-20%

Only just cut them down so will update on taste and effects in a couple of weeks 💚 So the sherbs are dried enough to jar still stinking of sweet candy and she is still very sticky 😁👌💚 got 28.4 grams from this grow as a beginner I'm very proud thankyou for following and supporting me throughout growmies 🙏😁💚

So i never ended up doing the nutes i had. I waited until seeing pre flower and top dressed with natures living soil autoflower concentrate. So far so good. I do think they were cal-mag starved prior to adding this because they did start to yellow a bit in between veins. Going all organic from here on out and doing super soil.

Sakura season has begun, I hope everything goes fine. Strawberry Pie is going to have a tough time this week, let's hope it survives, meanwhile there are signs of heat shock and sunlight, it's developing 3 point leaves and strange ramifications but maybe I'm wrong. D38 Defoliation, I hope I haven't overdone the pruning D41 First week of flowering, I think it couldn't have gone better, it's growing visibly, let's hope it's like this until the end, maybe shortening the timing, we'll see. on the contrary strawberry pie has stopped growing, I have to thank that she survived, who knows what will come out of her, I wish her a sweeter climate... D42 Defoliation is limited for what I did last night, I literally deforested, I did it because the humidity was sky high and the vegetation was too thick covering so many peaks,,, the fascinating thing is that they recovered within the night, if I may say that 6 hours of darkness relax the plants just as if they were on vacation.

Pictures are taken at the end of the week. Did not add KMPS for 2 days in the end, will begin again next week. Added Universol Yellow (High P) and Calcinit 1:1 to increase EC and root growth, no ml values, used the fertilizer to reach stated EC values. Roots are now clearly visible, turned of the sprayers for photos. Changed light hanging height to 50cm and intensity to 50% midweek. Turned off the exhaust at night to increase RH and Temp, at this stage this is great, later not so much. The Plant is kinda slow growing on top but roots are doing good she will probably accelerate top growths soon. Values are average of the day.
