This plant was a dream to grow, wish I'd taken cuts. Halfway through dry at 7 days. Drying at 55 - 60 % RH and 17 - 19 degrees C. I anticipate she'll be done between 10 - 14 days total dry time and I'll then trim and update weights on this Harvest. 133.75g total after trim. She's a nice smoke, very happy.

Finally the Cal Mag Xtra arrived. Couple days after the feeding, the signs of it started fading. Later in the week I placed the net on them. I minimally trimmed the bottom half of the plants. One plant had started flowering already, others where smaller and behind. I also do not have any clue if what I was doing wasn't setting them back. So I held back a bit. Let's see what happens.

Day 64 - Beginning of the Final Flowering Week 🌱 Hello, my grow friends! We’re entering the last flowering week, and it looks like I’ll be harvesting the plant around Friday, which will be roughly Day 68. 💭 Harvest Decision: It’s a tough decision because while the buds are still growing, the trichomes in the middle and lower parts of the plant are already about 80% milky and 10% amber. I’ll keep an eye on things and plan to check the trichomes again on Day 65, two days before harvest, to make a final decision. 🌿 Trichome Considerations: I have a feeling that even after cutting the plant and hanging it upside down to dry, some nutrients might still move into the buds, potentially causing them to swell a bit more. This is something I’m curious to see. 💧 Humidity, Water, and Temperature: As I mentioned in my last update, I flushed the plant yesterday, just before the start of the final week, with 4 liters of water. This should help flush out any remaining nutrients, and I likely won’t need to water again before harvest since the pots are thoroughly soaked. The humidity and temperature are holding steady between 52-58% and 20-24°C, which I find ideal. I’ve got my exhaust system and fan running continuously to ensure no mold develops. 📸 Final Updates: I’ll check in again with an update just before harvest to let you know how things are looking. Remember, I’m posting new pictures and videos of my plant every day. 🌱 Day 70 - Last Day Before Harvest 🌱 Hey Grow-Friends! 😄 Today marks the final day before harvest, and I couldn’t be more excited! As planned, I’ve kept the plant in darkness for the last 48 hours and haven’t watered it for 6 days. My goal is to let it sit in the dark until this evening, when the time finally comes to chop it down. 🌿✂️ Drying Decisions 🌬️ After much research and considering several factors—especially the high humidity in my tent—I’ve decided to go with wet trimming instead of dry trimming. I know dry trimming is often recommended for better bud quality and taste, but my main concern is avoiding mold at all costs. So, to play it safe, I’ll wet trim the buds, get them into the right size, and then place them in a drying net for about 7 days. Timing Concerns ⏳ I’m still figuring out the best timing for transferring the buds into curing jars. Since I’m wet trimming, I won’t be able to rely on the classic “stem snap test” to check dryness. But we’ll figure that out as we go along! Final Reflections 🌟 It’s been an amazing journey, and although I could push the grow a little further, I believe this is the perfect time to harvest. Hey So I had to harvest a little earlier now because I'm going on vacation, so I'm done with everything 2 weeks before :) It was quite easy to grow it has a very strong smell and generally a strong effect it tastes sweet/sour/woody It is sticky and the buds are quite heavy I harvested 146.5g dry weight from a plant :))

This strain is a dream to grow, if you haven't tried it yet, it's amazing, it's easy, it's lush and vibrant, full of energy from seed to smoke. Great for organic grow styles and a fun plant to grow. The smoke I will update in the smoke review! I do not have words for the quality of this strain. In everything. Grow this and be absolutely amazed by its performance. I had won the seeds with the Halloween give-away but they are a sure winner and a keeper. @SweetSeeds congratulations on a champion auto-strain. I've grown auto's before, only outdoors, but nothing like this, nothing this big in such a short time, and this resilient for not only mistakes but everything. This plant will perform even if you were to mess it all up. Keep to 20 liters grow bags for best performance as you could see with my two plants. One as more developed, although everyone says over 15 ltr makes no difference, with organic coco hybrid super soil, it does. It is the difference in buffering of nutes, PH, heat, and moisture. Way less hassle in the bigger pot and this was an excellent learning curve. This grow started out as a match between Forbidden Runtz by Fastbuds and XL Runts by Sweetseeds. But since the playing field was uneven (pot wise but also heat and fresh air wise), the results do not count in my opinion. But my guess is (since I haven't weighed the Forbiddens) that the XLs for now won. But as I said it would not be fair. We will do the contest again when said playing field is level. Day 58 - Adding Big Bud Coco to the nute mix, seems that it's doing its job 😁 (Yes, I need a bigger closet 😅) Keep on growing 🙏😋 Day 63 - Haf some problems with my EC pen the last days, it wasn't clean so I overfeed a little bit but I noticed almost immediately so I've cleaned it and re-done the nute solution. Just a few tips of Gelato's leaves were burnt, nothing to worry about. I think 4 weeks from now and the Purple Lemonade will be ready for harvest, so other 5 days of Big Bud and then I'll switch to Overdrive for the final boost before ripen and flush 🙏

The girls have chilled right out growing up and are growing out an phat , I’m seeing some purple there . Big defoliation coming up as soon as I can move that auto out which is looking chunky as but a bit on the small side prolly due to the 12/12 , still odds on to have some fresh Chrissy smoko .

Captain’s Log (I know that’s a different show) Today was my first day on earth and Willie got me straight to work mixing and digging preparing the soil. I would add 2ltrs of Plagron lightmix, 0.5ltrs of perlite, then 6grms of RQS Easy Boost, 1grm of Mycorrhiza mix, 0.5grms of Rhizobacter, mix it up and then keep repeating these steps until the pot was full. I feel like I could sleep for a whole light year. Seed was soaked in ph’d water for 24hrs before planting. I’ve got a lot of thinking and soul searching to do before I can decide how much Lightside and Darkside I want in my strain, or Sativa and Indica as they call it here on earth. I think I may need to try contact the ghost of Obi Wan for some advice on this one.

Today is day 36. I had to tie up some branch’s this morning. The colas have been slowly leaning in every direction, and I wanted to get them back standing straight in the light.i will flush her for a few days seems last batch of nutes burned her a little. I also believe there is to much nitrogen in her roots as some leaves have started to yellow up top. This is just my opinion from what I have been reading. I know Leaves will yellow during flowering, but from my understanding it is usually is the lower leaves. Any feed back would be appreciated.

420 Fastbuds Week 9 Gorilla Punch Auto Week 9 for these two ladies. I decided to give them some added nutes a few feedings back and boy did they not like it. Over all the flower are still maturing nice and no other apparent issues besides the burnt leaves. Almost finished for the one but still a couple weeks on the other. All in all Happy Growing.

Just waiting it out now. No added nutrients, just water. Bubba and Black Dog have exceeded their expected flowering time, and both are at 95% cloudy with 5% or so still clear. Chemdawg and The New can take up to 70 days or more so we’ll see if they’re late too. Bubba is a foxtailing machine. It was one weekend in early Flower when heat/humidity got out of hand while I was away for 3 days. She hermied a bit and I’ve had my eye out for bananas ever since (find a few every so often). Taking a risk to keep her in the tent with the others but if I catch them early enough the others should be ok. Interestingly I found a YouTube video of a guy that ran bubba and had the same foxtail development (also the same scent description and look overall). Nothing like the gorgeous fat purple budded girl I had last year but the citrus smell on this lime green bud pheno/version is impressive. Curious to see how the smoke compares. Scent combo from all four plants is amazing!
