This week has been the week of explosive growth, she has shot up out of literally no where, she's now been topped twice, going to top maybe 3 or 4 more times let her veg for another 3 weeks then flip, happy growing and stay green ✌️ 💚 👌 😀

Compost tea turned out well, let it go for 26 hours total and geared it towards fungal. Also took some soil samples several days later around the stalks and found a lot of nematodes and protozoa which is what you want to see. Lots of different types of nematodes so what your looking for are the bacterial feeders (there are charts online that show you how to identify them). Mycorrhizae can be identified by it's dark colour, uniformity and segmented nature. Testate amoebas live in a translucent shell like a snail and are easy to spot but hard to spot moving due to my shitty microscope, but look for the tentacles. Also found some eggs with movement inside, no idea what they are but they have vacuoles and flagella. She is really getting sticky and smelly now; berries with herb notes. You can see the resin stretching over the trichomes in the last pic. No signs of senescence yet so I'm not going to feed them, they should have plenty of food anyway as this is a second run of the same soil.

She is still small but lots of flowering. Her ruderalis side is really showing. Have to watch out for that next time. Not so much fan of that. 🤔 so no🌲🌲🌲for me 😔 but love her shape.

Weekly Update: Aug 6th Textbook grow, no significant issues to address, super resistant to high heat which is consistent with the pheno's under high power FS-LED's. Dolomite lime top-dress early on has kept root-zone pH under control, due for another top-dress soon. 10% Runoff @ 2 gal (will be going up to 2.5 gal for 15-20%): 1900ppm, pH 5.5 (meh).

Room full of clones that I’ve ran before no surprises…1000w x6 room, 6 plants per light…stripped the big fan leaves of hung whole plants up. After the 7 day dry gonna bring in the crew of trimmers and get this done in one day…I hate trimming and I need room empty again so I can plant clones I have rdy to go in so it’s faster just to pay trimmers…I’ll report back with yield…I can already say it’s gonna be 12-15 packs I’m always hitting 2+ a light with these strains….I don’t weigh it wet it wold take too long and wet weight don’t matter none unless you running some fresh frozen and need to do math on yields

This smell ... sweet, very sweet, like sweets, lemon smell slightly noticeable at the very beginning, but when you touched her... on your fingers start to appear sticky and rich smell of juicy lemon. It is unbelievable that my babie can smell and look so great. I just can't wait... :D

Small pot has slowed development considerably I believe. Runoff has been in range so it has to be the roots bound up. Hope it fattens up a bit before the trichomes amber out.

Let's start the week: Flowering day 49 Both plants were checked for health and the trichomes were checked with a microscope. (70% milky, 20% amber and 10% clear. Flowering day 50 Today both were poured with 1.2 l each, of course now without any sewing material so that she would use the rest until the harvest 👍. Flowering day 51 Today both were checked, the humidifier refilled and fresh osmosis water filled into the tank. Flowering day 52 Both were checked for their health and in the end time for mold, everything looks great 😍👍. 8/21/2024 Added two fresh gallons with week 4 nutrients to bring the reservoir up to 750ppm. Will plan to do a more substantial water change in the next few days. Both plants are booming! Added the trellis netting to begin training the plants to fill the tent! This week should be interesting. 8/24/2024 Both plants are looking good up to this point. Have continued to add fresh nutrient water as they are drinking much more now. I have a second trellis net on hand as I believe it will be required for an aditional layer of support as they stretch into pre-flower. Looking like a 4.5 or 5 week veg before flipping. 8/25/2024 Noticed Plant B water level was only a few inches in the bottom of the bucket. Had a pump flow rate issue with most of the feed from the reservoir diverting to the closer bucket. Working to rectify the issue, but Plant B is definitely stunted, unfortunately. 8/27/2024 The water level issue was remedied by putting a separate pump and feed line in place for each plant. Continuing to defoliate as I prepare to take clones. I will likely run this week of veg a few extra days to allow Plant B to recover a bit from the water issues. Additionally, after taking clones I will give 1-2 days of recovery for the plants before switching to 12-12 and starting pre-flower! 8/29/2024 Raised the lights to drop DLI to about 30. Continuing to monitor water level issues. 8/30/2024 Did a final pruning on both plants before flipping to flower tomorrow. Started topping reservoir with bloom nutrient blend. Shortened light cycle by 2 hours to not shock the plants into flower. Added a second layer of trellis netting. Plant A (larger of the two) is absolutely thriving, plant B (smaller of the two) is bouncing back from the water level issues earlier this week! Both plants are looking ready for flower.

Week 19/2 - 25/02

Not a ton to report as I switch them to flower. The first day they went to the 12/12 light schedule I chopped the shit out of them, taking probably 100 fan leaves from the 4 plants all together. They're just too bushy and I feel like I'm asking for problems letting them grow into each other. Of course when you try to grow four plants in a 2x4 tent, that's an expected problem. They looked blended, bomb-out and depleted when I finished chopping leaves and pulling the main growth tips apart from each other and through the scrog net. I was a little worried that I overdid it, but 12 hours later they had more than bounced back. I'm a little leary of hard defoliation in flower, but pistils have hardly developed and the plants clearly need and respond well to it. I'm sure I'll take about the same amount from them a couple more times. A couple concerns: small amounts of white mold growth on the top of the coco of a couple plants and the sides of a couple bags. Very faint and not growing much. Also no signs of it on leaves or stems of the plants themselves. I've been spraying with a water/hydrogen peroxide mix. Also a few leaves here and there on a few of the plants look chewed up or torn. There are no signs of pests, so I think they're from some minor abuse during training or from the fan blowing. Will definitely be keeping an eye on mold/mildew and pests, especially going into spring locally.
