Another week has flown by! The girls are doing great, cruise control this week as I have just been monitoring RH and temps. Trying to keep them as low as possible, I’ve been getting as low as 74 during the day and 68 at night. I finally took a look a look at the trichomes with my jewellers loop, lots of cloudy, and a few amber around the leaves and top colas, but still lot’s of clear trichomes. I’ve ordered myself a wireless/usb digital microscope to assist with the process, and looks like it will be here just in time to determine harvest day. 😎🎄 I started by eliminating the nutrients at the beginning of the week. I typically allow for 3-4 pure water feeds before I harvest, and at the rate they have been drinking, this should be enough to get through the 7-12 days they have before harvest. I don’t flush, but rather “rinse” with normal water amounts, allowing the plant to use up the remaining nutrients in the soil. This also allows me to recover most of the soil from my grows and reuse ♻️ with other soil mix. There has been great debate and a great deal of bro science out there for many years, but the recent studies suggest there is no difference in end result when it comes to flushing or using nutrients right until the end, if a proper dry and cure is performed. Die erste Woche ist gut überstanden. Alles i.O. Noch ohne Düngung. Da die Erde leicht vorgedüngt ist, nur Wasser aus der Leitung.

Chopped her on day 83 from sprout. Discovered some Bananas on Christmas, the plant looked due anyway so no worries, wanted to chop her anyway, guess I was right with the timing and the plant showed me it is done and did a last attempt to pollinate itself, normal behavior in my opinion, also the Bananas were blanks, didn't see any pollen. Overall great strain, will use this strain to test the limits of the prototype of my new hydro system. No mold or anything, vigorous growth, easy to train, stems did bend and not snap but are stiff enough to hold their weight. Buds are very dense, some might think the buds are a little small but there are a lot of them, good sizes in my opinion, perfect little ready to take with you buds. Even the buds are the bottom are dense, I had lights at the bottom but even inside the canopy with little light they are dense! Plant turned purple wherever there was intense light on it, visible on the short clip I took of a top branch where below the bud where there is shadow from the bud above is the branch is green and a little lower where light reaches it turned purple. This purpeling in my opinion is a great and normal feature in plants overall, probably do not expect a purple plant unless you go with intense lightning and high CO2 values to handle it. 9/10 because it hermed at the very end, didn't hurt the result because the plant was done but it would be nice if it wouldn't do it to maybe let it go some more and trade THC for more CBN and even more yield, total yield is good as it is but more is always better :) Whoever reads this at the very bottom... I hope this diary helps you out for your next grow. I hope this diary also shows that fertilizer brands are more marketing than anything, my fertilizer costs me ~ 1/5 compared to Canna, Plagron etc. etc. and it works great. Yara is used for example by Demecan a medical Cannabis producers, if they use it why not you? This is no advertisement for Yara, use Haifa or whatever just maybe don't buy overpriced fertilizer with big marketing and rather put that saved money in good quality genetic seeds. Update: dried weight is 320g total, smoked a little besides that so maybe 330? didn't count how much so I didn't add that to the total, but it was a little more. Tastes like Wrigley's Spearmint gum! Will definitely grow this one again, so far my #1 from what I've grown, just dense, frosty and good tasting, can't really complain. 🙏 In case anyone from Mephisto reads this, make this a permanently available Strain 🙏

Another solid week of growth!! The two big plants nearly doubled their height and both had a lot of undergrowth this week! I plan on trying my hand at LST tomorrow. I added more soil into the pots yesterday. I still feel it is too low but I don't want to shock the plants too badly. I watered after lifting the plants up some and adding the soil. I plan on feeding them tomorrow night. The first white pistils have sprouted and there is a distinct aroma of marijuana in the air!! I hope they hold off another week before really start to flower. It's amazing how fast a month can go by! I may not keep the little plant past this week. We'll see if she makes it that far... Here's to another week of healthy growing!! Peace!

Some mold formed on the rockwool, I rubbed a papel towel with alcohol. High umidity this week... I'm afraid of losing my plant. The buds are getting big, I can notice a small odor of pine, it's gooooood! I think there is some mildew forming too, so I sprayed neem oil. Let's see what's gonna happen

UPDATE: Day 2 of week 12 - Friday 6th Nov: Nutes in today, haven’t really had to do much else, as the girls just seem to be concentrating on fattening up the buds at a nice steady pace. Oh and this week I’ve finally got a hint of a fruity tropical sweet smell from the buds.. It’s truly lush.. My thoughts are now at when to flush the ladies and how many weeks are left? I’d like to time it all perfectly but as this is my first grow now sure exactly how long they have left! Trichomes are still looking clear and pistils are still mostly white but don’t wanna get caught out and miss the best time to harvest and flush.. Keeping a close 👁️.. UPDATE: Day 4 of week 12 - Sunday 8th Nov: Nutes in again and all looking good, except for the girl that got really wilted last week, she’s doing ok but no way near as nicely developed as the other 3 girls. She has one main cola that’s taken off more than all the other colas which I think may be partly due to topping not working as well as is did on the other 3 girls, she still has one really thick stem compared to the other 3. However the wilting did really slow her down on top of that 😞.. Apart from that I’m pretty happy, Christmas 🎄 is coming and it looks like I will have my first ever home grown smoke just in time.. 🙏🏼❤️🌱 UPDATE: Day 7 of week 12 - Wednesday 11th Nov: Nutes in and a small amount of defoliation. Girls weren’t quite ready for a feed yesterday but this morning they were super thirsty and leaves 🍃 were slightly droopy, nothing major but they were all really ready for a drink. Put an extra 18w 2700k LED strip (from an impulse buy at the beginning of my grow journey) in last night to try and boost bud growth. I think my Viparspectra 300w LED alone wasn’t cutting it. I know it’s only a small increase in watts but the extra 2700k flower lighting for the last week weeks of flower can’t be a bad thing right? .. My DLI was 32 before adding the light so I hope this works positively. Looking at the girls at around 10 hrs after adding the additional LED and they look great so let’s see what happens.. ✌️🏼 & ❤️🍃🌱

Feb 11th Week 8 is off to a good start. - lite-cycle; 11.5 hrs on, 12.5 hrs off - reducing rapidstart / CaliMag - increasing molasses - Reducing Volume of water > 14L next feed. Only 4 feeds till flush if all goes well. Feb 13th - USB scope shows that there is still a lot of development to come. Trichomes still showing clear in many areas. - 3 areas were checked & it’s 50/50 with clear / cloudy trichomes. Week 8 of Flower from a proposed 11-13 -no food tonight, soil still damp 15th - Lite cycle down to 11 hrs on, 13 off Feb 16th - reduced UVB time by an hour. Using 5 in total ( 2x 2.5 hrs ) - down to 3 feeds; before flush. Trichomes will be checked 1st - raised light a bit ~ 19” from closest Bud - planning Flush -targeting 40% RH 18th - finishing week 8 of Flower with a proactive move on shortening the lite-cycle again; 10 On - 14 Off. Goal is to promote Resin production, Bud-filling and hopefully bring the show to a tidy finish, on-time. - Took a few pictures last nite, posting later today - Calyxes really seem to be swelling and filling in

I stopped giving them Bio Grow since the harvest is near.. I cut some yellow leaves and they all look beautiful :) Can't wait until harvest :D

Week 5

Okay so I'm trying something new, since I've gone away from a switch to water for the last week flush I harvested the tops and best smalls and packed the cannatrol full. I'm giving the under growth a bit more time to rippen before I harvest that for the the freezer. If this turns out to be a bad idea I'll not do it again in the future. The last long video is what's left in the tent right now. Let me know if any of you have experience doing this. Updated with a bunch of pictured of dried and cured. Ended up with 186g of beautiful flower. 72g of untrimmed smalls I'll make into RSO, I have a lot of back and nerve pain and RSO hands down the only thing that brings me actual relive, I'm late to the party on this one but I set a side part of the grow for it now. I let the under canopy and shorter tops go another 10 days feed at half strength and I'm glad I did, it ripened up nicely and definitely got a lot of color. I forgot to get pictures of that harvest but I will when I pull it from the freezer to wash. My test jar of this washed at 4+% (the last picture). Last update will be results of that wash. Last update on this one, I added a couple hash/rosin pics at the end. She washed from plant to rosin at 4.03% the terps are musky skunk, sweet pastries, and fresh Linen. I'd definitely grow this one again.

Welcome to week 7 of veg life! The lady’s took around 4 days after there transplant to find there growth rate as they would have been filling there pots with roots. They have come on strong over the last 5 days really filling out and keeping there nodes really tight as they grow in height. They have been getting 2ltrs of water every 2 days. This is not giving run off but that will come when we get into flower. We have been feeding the lady nutes twice a week and keeping a eye on there tips as I think out nutes are rather weak. They have shown nothing but love for the larger amounts of nutes so far, see if it bites me on the butt I guess. We will run them another week in veg and switch them from there and see how we go.
