I was on vacation for 9 days, unfortunately I discovered some budrot on the S.A.D. despite the dehumidifier and air conditioning. It is probably also due to the fact that the flowers are extremely compact and hard. It is of course on the side facing away from the fan. It shows once again how important good air circulation is. Apart from that, it has not been fertilized for a week and has only been watered with tap water. The plants have not had any water for 5 days and are on the verge of drying out. The harvest will take place in the next few days. I will report further.

She has suffered some root damage due to lack of co2 at the root zone so I dried the cup out before I repotted her to give the roots some space. Good news is she seems to be bouncing back. She now stands at 7 cm

From 3 plants, from seed to harvest, one of them took only 74 days, the other two, took another week for 81 days. On their last days I Kept them under 48hrs of light instead of 48 hrs of darkness. Overall I’m happy with this harvest, white widow from fastbuds never disappoints 😉

Today is Day 50 !! We have started flower an they are just looking amazing! We have switched up the nutrients for flower, instead of 1 tsp bloom and 3 tsp of veg , we just swap 3 tsp of bloom and 1 tsp of veg !! Can’t wait to see what these laddies do this week!!

01/28/2020 Switching to flower schedule today 12-12, doing a little defoiliating, and stem cracking then get ready to watch the show. I was looking for a female Unicorn, it looks like it's a male Unicorn He has all the attributes of his sisters that I like defoiliating doesn't bother him, quickly recovers from LST Stinks way more than any of the females that I have grown, out my hands get sticky just picking the fan leaves, I've got 2 clones starting for future use. Question is do I finish my diary on a male( Unicorn ) plant hmmm🤔 will anyone appreciate it? Will he carry on these attributes in his offspring? I guess I'll flower him out and see if he lives up to my hopes. I Will harvest his pollen and test his offspring to see how he contributes to the next generation. If all goes well I got a good breeder.

A lot more happening this week! As shown in the pics, and as suspected, I have a manganese deficiency. I've been keeping my pH level at 6.2 in coco, manganese is taken up best by the plant below 6.0 pH. Dropping my ph level to 5.8 pH, and flushing with lower pH, hopefully it will solve the issue over the course of a few days. I made a new frame for a SCROG, with a "custom bend" in the CPVC pipe on both ends. The bend will allow me to take advantage of the slack material in the sides of my 4x4 tent. I'd previously taken 4" out of all the upright poles to shorten the tent so it would fit in the room due to low ceilings, meaning I had extra slack in my tent walls. The bend in the net frame pushes the sides of the tent out to 5 foot wide. My first SCROG net was a 6" mesh from Amazon, immediately knew I wanted a smaller mesh. Next time around I built my own with a 4" mesh and used the 4" for several grows. This time I decided to go with an even smaller, 3" mesh, and already I like it better. I don't really see myself going much smaller than 3" mesh though. It seems to work well, and any smaller and it may be too tight trying to work the plant through the opening sometimes, which if not careful, will damage the plant. I usually use a & gal cloth pot, grow off rules stated we 0had to use a 5 gal pot. Seeing as I only had 7 gal on hand, I was stuck picking up a Root Farm 5 gal cloth pot locally, as you can see, the roots didn't really stay contained, nor did they "air prune", i had to tear them off before installing the net above. On the last day of week 6 I finally got my net installed, and the plant SCROGged. I should have put the net in place a week or two earlier, it would have been easier to manipulate the plant, however the plant will still have a week to recover. I tie the net in place above the plant, and slowly lower it down, as I bend and super crop the main stalk over parallel to the net, and work all the branches underneath and spread them out. As the plant grows I'll continue to push branches back down through the net and moving them out to the next hole. This will greatly increase yields by allowing light to more bud sites, keeping all buds the same height and thus the same distance from the light. small budsites on a vertical branch, will transform into their own cola once the branch is laid on its side. Instead of a Christmas tree type of plant, with one large main cola, and smaller and smaller buds as you move further down the plant, you end up with a bunch of colas that are all close to the same size, and more importantly, the same level of maturity. The SCROG method, combined with super cropping, and defoliation has greatly increased my yields. As the plant is getting worked into the net, I'll defoliate where necessary, ie a huge fan leaf covering bud sites, however for the next several weeks I'll be defoliating so mush every night or two, systematically trimming off all fan leaves, and stripping everything below the net, and any small bud sites that wont produce well. Usually by the time I'm half way through the flower stage there are no big fan leaves left to be found. It helps with light penetration, which results in a higher quality, higher quantity yield, as well as airflow, which will help prevent White Powdery Mildew and other molds etc. Once a fan leaf is 14 days old, its ability to photosynthesize light, starts to degrade. Once it reaches a certain point, the leaf drains more energy from the plant, than it's giving the plant. My best yields have been from heavily defoliated plants, my last grow I couldn't physically defoliate quite as heavily as usual, and I ended up about 25-30% less bud than expected

Die erste Blütewoche startet. Eigentlich wollte ich vor Einleitung der Blüte alle Männchen aussortieren, aber der Plan hat sich wie so oft geändert. Zum Ende der Woche habe ich 7 Männchen aussortiert, es bleiben also 6 Weibchen. Ich habe versucht die entstandenen Lücken aufzufüllen. Es sind 3x Red Mandarine dazugekommen. Leider musste ich die Wurzelballen "anpassen" damit alles passt - mal schauen ob sie den Stress verkraften.

Hello Diary, Purple Lemonade has reached its fifth week of flowering, I am now very close to harvest. I would say one more week and it will be ready for cutting. The appearance of Purple Lemonade is amazing and it would be a shame not to take a picture of her on a black background now that it is the grand finale. The flowers are hard to the touch, sticky and full of trichomes. Especially the main cola which looks impressive. This week I started checking the trichomes with a microscope and so far they are still transparent. The smell is very intense at this stage, the whole room smells of plants when I open the grow box. Watering is still every two or three days. This week I stopped adding nutrients, I just lower the p.H. to 6.0 and water the plants with clean water. Here is what the previous week looked like. 13/09/2024 - Day 51. Watering. I prepared 9 liters of water, lowered the p.H. at 6.0 and I watered all three plants on the farm with that amount. 16/09/2024 - Day 54. Watering. I repeated the same procedure as three days earlier. 18/09/2024 - Day 56. It's the end of the 8th week, taking pictures of the plants. Temp & Humidity still controlled by my Mycodo System. VPD range still set to 0.4 - 0.8 for now. 08.04. Week 2 of Veg begins and the plants really start to grow like crazy. Especially the Strawberry Lemonade and Fullgas seem to be bigger every day! I had a little PH issue on the last watering, but it should not be too worrysome. 10.04. I‘ve noticed some yellow tint starting to form on the newer leaves of the Strawberry Lemonade. For now I will stay on the lookout, but I hope it‘s nothing too dramatic. I also switched the VPD to be around 0.8 - 1.2 which it doesn‘t completely hit for the moment as i do not have a dehumidification option but the additional humidification was stopped. 13.04. Week 2 is nearing it‘s end and things are going great. The discoloration has vanished and the plants are growing steadily. VPD at around 0.7 kPa.
