As you can see I started noting some brownish tips in some leafs what got me a little bit worried but guess it was just a little overfert. Back to using only biobizz nutrients Besides that, not much more to say. Just have to sit back, relax and wait for the lady’s to fat up 😂

I've got a problem with my air system, So I was around 80% humidity and 28*C, I've bought a new fan and carbon filter this end week and now 24/25*C Day 20/21 night 60/70%HR. Well this week I had to give the girls a fairly big trim they were beautifully bushy but they were struggling for space so I cut back the heavy shade leaves that were covering bud sites I am also adding bloom to there feed from now but they are doing really well and the smell in the tent is devine. 💚🙏🌱🙏💚🙏🌱🙏💚

Fruity pebbles auto is doing good. She has a nice start into the solution. I clipped the tips of her long root to help keep root base closer to the basket. Also makes them spread out wider vs longer. Everything is looking good. De nuevo se actualiza estas red hoy cookies de sweetseeds. Tercera semana de floración, y es que vaya tonalidades más bonitas comienzan a mostrar. Se hizo una defoliación, hace unas semanas hubo temperaturas bajas, lo cual para controlar esas temperaturas abrí las puertas en su periodo nocturno , estrese a los ejemplares y estos en este caso fueron las más afectadas en cuanto a hermafroditismo, aun con el problema rocié y elimine todos los posibles plátanos, y seguiré adelante y seguiré observando que no salgan más , los cuales seguiré eliminando. A mayores sufrimos una pequeña carencia en N que con un buen aplicado de alimentación se soluciona. . La humedad esta al 45% la temperatura está entre 21/25 grados , y como siempre el ph , ya que es de lo más importante,está en 5,8/6,0. . Buds growing dense, this week I added 2 uvb-a lamps to help increase resin production. Smell is also great, like sweet lemon tart.

Do-Si-dos auto is doing well. She had been growing really good. I did a solution change on her 2 days ago. I switched her to blooming nutrition then. She is looking ready to stretch and flower. This week I noticed I overdid it a bit with the fertilizer, so I just watered it. I also noticed that this lamp in a 60x60 can't be too close as per the manual, but you have to keep them at least 60cm apart (at least in my case) to avoid damage or light stress. As for the rest, I have to say it's doing well! 😍

Once again, this week starts where the former one ended. With the exception of all the cables you can see in the first picture. I dared to install a minimalized version of the Raspi control only controlling the self-built humidifier and one blower/fan combination. I was very pleased to see how easily the simple diffusor can hold optimum VPD as long as temperatures are high and humidity tends to fall below optimum VPD. A single 10 seconds evaporation can hold the level for about 2–3 minutes. I am not pleased to see the Monsanto blowers rather underperform. It’s impossible to reduce humidity or temperature with both running on full speed, while a lifting of the tent door will bring immediate changes. With the Raspi/Arduino success so far*, I am thinking about using old Power Mac fans which are WCM controllable and use 12 V. At least one to increase air intake, and maybe even the blowers. * It wasn’t any problem at all to have the Arduino collect CO2 and soil moisture data, so after some more cable manufacturing (aka helpless soldering), I could extend the Raspi control. I’m still uncertain about the camera module (@trelorny impressed me with his time lapse videos). I don’t want to put the hardware into the tent with its not so electronics friendly climate, already risking some rare outages of the temp/hum sensor. But the camera module cannot be placed far away. So maybe I’ll use the 3A model I own as a spare part as a camera driver. Any maybe, if it works, invest in a better camera module. Mine is generation 1. Oh, and the ladies! Gave them slightly fertilised water yesterday, and even it or the better VPD yesterday or a combination of both make me believe bud growth is a bit more visible today. The smell in the morning when I open the tent to release accumulated humidity is outstanding. They were already thirsty on day 57 again, so pure RO + a bit of tap water until it spilled out of their pot’s bottoms. Many fan leaves turning autumnally now, and the smallest Sherbet suffered a bit from over-fertilisation as I wrote. But it this stage I don’t go for leaf beauty anymore. Just another learning: Don’t use differently sized pots anymore. Hard to feed them individually this way. VPD was mostly in best range yesterday, and I have the feeling it really supports their bud growth. I added an "Evening time" option to my Raspi control that allows the humidity to sink a selected time before lights shut down. That made it possible to have humidity in best range for most of the night time too. They were even dry again on day 58 morning. Another time just water. The blowers cannot cope with the flowers’ smell anymore, and so sometimes my flat cannot hide who shares it with me. Day 60 presents me with a problem: I’ll leave on Friday for a few days. Considering the microscope pictures are not from the tops buds: Would you say it’s safe to give them another week? Problem solved on day 61. Only clean water from now on, and next week will be their last. You won’t see any new pictures for some days now. Me too … Something I wanted to share with you before I leave: I just finished to update my grow box control with a new PWM fan hat that keeps the Raspi cool, while at the same an infrared sensor can now measure real leaf and additional ambient temperature. Setup is much cleaner and more robust now, but I wish my flux would not make the solder stick to the tip of the machine instead of making it flow and stick at the tiny tiny spots I have to hit …

23.08 The Drainmaster moved into the tent to control the drain. Defoliated and lollipopped them. 25.08 First run with the drain system. Nutrient Solution (Tank): Volume: 8.5 L EC: 3.05 pH: 5.5 Nutrients: Advanced Nutrients Micro/Grow/Bloom + CalMag Irrigation Run: Pump time: 30 minutes Total Drain: 5.0 L (≈ 60%) Drain EC: 2.6 Drain pH: 6.0 🔎 Observations Drain volume was far too high (target is ~20%). Drain EC lower than input EC → medium was relatively “empty”, plants absorbed nutrients quickly. pH drift from 5.5 → 6.0 shows some buffering effect left in the reused substrate, but limited. Substrate behaves more like coco than soil now (low buffer, fast response). 💡 Insight / Lesson Learned 30 minutes pump time is way too long → resulted in 60% runoff instead of 20%. For 8 × 1 L pots, a single irrigation event should be ~1.0–1.2 L total, with ~200–250 ml runoff. Solution: shorten pump time to ~5 minutes and re-test runoff. Better approach: run shorter, more frequent irrigations (daily) with a lower EC (2.0–2.2), instead of heavy feedings (EC 3.0) only 3× per week. This will keep EC more stable in the root zone and prevent salt buildup in the tiny 1 L pots. 27.08 Adjusted the pump timer to 5 minutes, gave the first dose of PK13/14.

So today I started the flush, is the first time I used a product to flush, I have read and basically, the community is split in half about to flush or not to flush, I will see first hand if actually flushing creates a better quality.
