No issues. Been doing quarter strength Cronk. Doing a light top dress this week to bring them home. Already seeing fading on one mbr x gp. Still no tip burn….. Day 39: I think the Pablo’s are going to go longer than 8 weeks. Mr big runtz smell the most. They’re both on the citrus/lemon leaning smell. Went against my better judgment again and didn’t top dress. Instead I’m doing half strength Cronk and alternating that with a molasses feed.

Day 1 of week 7–this would make the largest plant 43 days old today. Things are going great as far as I can tell. I used very minimal nutrients during this week. Will add some flowering nutrients on the next feed. Looking to see some density on the buds in the upcoming weeks.

March 17, Day 76: As written I collected the last three plants. At the moment I got a partial of 224 grams from the first three plants and I think of doubling with the last three. Among the latter is the plant with the largest bud which obviously becomes my favorite. This time I managed to take photographs of the plants before cutting them. With these last three plants I got the most productive plant, the one with the largest bud and the one with the longest bud 😉 For a final report on this strain: The Gorilla by RQS is an excellent strain for anyone who loves a high THC content and I particularly recommend it to growers who pass for the first time from photoiperiods to autoflowering. You will grow very large and very productive plants very similar to photoperiodic ones. This strain branches out a lot and must be defoliated and de-branched. You can grow it well with the SCROG technique, but if like me you have no space problems you can also use the Sea Of Green technique. First I have to say that I am very satisfied with the total harvest, from the last three plants I got 369 grams which added to the 224 of the previous harvest make a total of 593 grams. I started this diary with 8 Gorillas and 2 Cheese. 6 Gorillas completed their cycle in the same time frame, the 2 remaining gorillas showed a photoperiodic genetic predominance, one of them is in an advanced flowering phase while the last one after three months still shows only a few pistils. I'll probably kill her, and move on by putting new seeds in the soil. Unfortunately, where I live is illegal to grow marijuana, otherwise I would have simply moved outdoors, but I can't and must be ruthless. Regarding the two cheeses there is not much left at the end of their cycle and I started to give only water to one of the two plants. Good and happy growth to all! 😜

It’s been 5 days since my last post, but from here on let’s count it as 7 days—the plants are developing much faster now, so I’ll be sharing updates and videos more often to make it exciting! This week I finally got my hands on Terra Bloom, and today I also introduced PK 13-14 for the first time. I started light, at 2ml per 10L, and I plan to gradually ramp it up over the next few waterings until I reach about 6ml at peak, then taper off and stop before the final flush. The buds are swelling nicely, and overall the plants are thriving. The third plant is still a bit behind the others, but I gave her the same PK 13-14 dosage as an experiment—I want to try new approaches and see how she responds. Really happy with the progress so far, and it’s getting more exciting every day as the flowers start stacking up!😋😋

Week 3 update and all systems go for launch. We’re flipping to flower exactly 21 days from seed and so far, the mix looks to be impressive. Counting about 4 males (one that won’t make the cut), 2 indica leaning phenos and the rest are sativa leaning. Side branching has also been impressive so we should be able to pull some rootable cuts within the next week or two. If we got the sexes right (it is a little early to be certain), then the dutchy cabinet will be full up for bud testing👍. Next week will tell the tale🤟. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. Day 65 (12/31): no change. Day 66 (1/1): I'm thinking the plant on the left will be finished before the plant on the right. The leaves seem to be fading and the trichomes seem to be more mature on that plant also. 11pm: just watered the plants nutes. Same as last time. Left plant 6mL micro 12 mL bloom. Right plant 8mL micro 16 mL bloom Day 67 (1/2) Day 68 (1/3) Day 69 (1/4): just got home from a trip. Plants seem to be doing fine. Nearing the end I assume. Plants will probably need water tonight 10pm: just fed my plants nutes again. Both plants received 8mL of micro and 16 mL of bloom. Day 70: (1/5) Day 71 (1/6): plants look good this morning. The left plant is definitely nearing the end of its life. The plant on the right still could have another week or more. Just posted a video: plant on the left definitely doesn't have very large or dense nugs but it has a lot of them. The plant on the right has some super dense nugs. I'm excited to see what they both yield.
