What to say in the end, even though things were not ideal, the outcome is better than expected. 🙏 My only regret is that it has not reached its full potential, although the buds are beautiful, dark purple, full of terpenes that stick to your fingers like honey when you touch them. 😋 The outcome is in the end 56 g. which is more than it looked before the harvest. 💪 She dried along with her two roommates Purple Punch for a total of 14 days. My wife, although not a consumer, enjoys trimming which suits me great because I can take photos during that time. After trimming, we put the dry tops in jars where they matured for another 20 days. Sometime in the future I would definitely repeat Watermelon, I know it can do even better. It’s great that it’s summer, it fits perfectly with the Watermelon joint on an afternoon summer evening with a book and the sea. 7/19/2021 - Fed her with a mix of veg + bloom + worm castings + insect frass. We're 'bout to flip her. Unsure of the rate of application, going with feel. - Irrigated with a mix of water, coconut water, and unsulfured black strap molasses. - Decreasing the light timer by an hour each day to gently bring her into the flowering stage. - Defoliated again, she gets bushy fast. 7/24/2021 - Been defoliating this one every other day, she get's bushy reaaally fuckin' fast. - Lights finally reach 12/12 tonight. 7/25/2021 - First day of 12/12, gave her ANOTHER trim loll

This week went very well, the Cream Mandarine Auto doubled in size from 12" to 24" which is exactly what I was hoping for. I think I have about one week left of vertical growth, then I will be transitioning her to flower nutrients. All the training and toppings are done, so just minor defoliation from here on out. New environment set up will be transplanting into bigger pots Friday then watered in. Day 25 - Today I transplanted them in to 12.5l super air pots and moved them to there new home fed them ph’d balanced water only and will leave till Monday again as the coco has added charge and I’ve seen good results when potting on in the past :). I also activated the exhale Co2 bags to maximise photosynthesis. - I leave the lights on 25% for the first couple days so they and raise over the 3 week of vegetative growth. Day 27 - Gave them a little trim removing and large fan leaves covering bottom branches as I don’t like removing main branches so try to get them to come thru as early as I can, won’t touch them from now till 1 week before the switch when I’ll top and defoliate. They will be on same nutrients now till the switch aswell watering as and when they need it.

Still Hot AF! We’re at 100F everyday. All except the jelly rancher seem fine with it. The banana mango isn’t bothered. It’s interesting the heat difference on strains. All were planted the same time July 24, for the first time high today will be 90! Not 100! Shooting up like rockets! July 27th - supercropped the banana mango and it’s crazy wide and like a huge solar array! It rained yesterday! Real, soaking, non-drought rain. The plants loved it…

Grow going well, hand watering as needed for first 2 weeks. Plants germinated quickly. I soaked the seeds in solution for 4 hours then wrapped in a piece of paper towel and planted directly into coco with a small glass cover to trap humidity. All seeds germinated within 60 hours. Keeping HLG 600Rspec at 240w.

To preface this grow. This is my second run ever and my first run on Coco DWC using autopot system. My first run I ran a basic amended soil with no real target for soil ph set. Just simply organic compost and about 12% castings. I ran full manufacturer's dosing recommendations on city tap with high tds to start with. I had some serious nute issues late veg early flower. I suspect the issue was compounded due to ph swing, high ec, over watering and ph rise in soil due to infrequent watering, as well as ph rise in reservoirs from poor aeration and no beneficial microbes. That all being said I have new targets this run mainly consistenting of monitoring and targeting of PH and EC. I was at a bit of a loss in regard to the ph rise in my resevoir so with some research I have decided to try out TorusHydro perfect ph inline edition for my 25g dwc reservoir. I am running RO water made by my smallboy 150ro by Hydrologic. I have noticed some manufacturers recommend daily water changes for Coco nute solutions. I am going to attempt to do new water as infrequently as I think is acceptable as reflected by total ec in my feed water. I am using week one solution target EC of 0.5-0.7 and PH 5.5-5.7 for germinating. I added some bonus photo's of a homemade grow room I constructed.
