En cuanto a nutrición, sigo con XpertNutrients y esta semana he continuado aplicando Sticky Fingers, que ya está dejando huella: se nota una mayor explosión de tricomas y un incremento claro en la intensidad aromática. La planta está respondiendo muy bien, sin signos de saturación ni estrés. La iluminación de los Adlite sigue siendo clave, permitiendo una distribución homogénea de luz que está ayudando a formar cogollos compactos incluso en zonas medias. Clima controlado: 22-25 °C de temperatura y humedad en torno al 55%, pero con buena circulación de aire para prevenir cualquier problema. Los aromas comienzan a intensificarse, con notas dulces y un fondo terroso que promete una flor final muy sabrosa. I accidentally used distilled water in the the Gelatos waiting around 6 hours to see any changes.. Checked PH of distilled was 5.79. Before that errors it has been water with a PH of 6.65 and have been doing very well.

Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. All 3 zushi going strong. Gelonade to be seen sprouting. Moved them all to pellet and soil in the same time. Currently all of them are in small greenhouse 27 temp. Humidity around 70.

Asal got a trim to open up the air flow and a LST to spread the canopy a little more. Thinking I am done with the lateral spread at this point. Benesh got the same treatment. Asman has been taking the hits when I have overdone the LSTing. Thank goodness for masking tape and time to repair!

Yeah this strain finished in 9 weeks just like the guidelines say, tons of golf ball sized nugs. I could have got a better yield if I topped her earlier but I'm really happy with this grow. $20 investment and a quarter pound of weed in return. Outdoor plants really require very little to no maintenance, so if constantly pruning and training isn't something your interested in then go outdoors mate. In terms of how I grew this girl I just used a bit of cal-mag and amended the soil with organic nutrients before flowering. The organic notes saved my ass for flower. The yield may not be as much as many outdoor plant but again my first outdoor grow. I'm happy with the quality over quantity too. Thanks for all for stopping by!

This week saw an increase in flower sites and the start of the bud formation. Really good to see her take her strides. I have been mixing GHE Flora coco series and following dosage for 15L but using 20L of water so almost 3/4 of recommended dose and found that it was dialing in nicely. Included calmag from GHE starting this week to give extra dose of calmag since growing under LED lights.

Little bit of a delay. Wanted to get climate perfect before the flip. Upgraded ventilation and have the tent dialed in well at 74 degrees and 60% humidity during day and 70deg/ 55% at night. Started a second scrog on Day 42. Nervous about the stretch but hopefully I can maintain it (I wish T5 lights could flower...) Did extensive trimming underneath clearing pretty much anything that will never reach the ceiling of green above it. Day 45 marks last day of Veg Day 46 marks first day of flower AND. HERE. WE. GO.
