Day 54 update. Gonna give her about another week maybe to let her ripen before I chop but it’s getting close! Buds look and smell fantastic. Leaves are taking a beating from something or another.

I switched her to flowering. After returning from my Holiday I decided I would be moving cities. I wanted to veg her longer but switched the bulbs at 8 weeks. I am finally able to sleep in the dark! This rocks! Ive also been removing a lot of the excess leaf growth just to keep her fresh and not too crowded. The cardboard screen was removed and I used 4 chopsticks to press down on the lower branches and press the tops a little further apart; This really helped to space the branches out wider and allow light to breakthrough on some of the lower nodes. I started feeding her a little bit of molasses in her water, just to aid in the flowering. I also added wood ash to the top layer before watering. Also a little compost tea every now and then.

Harvest Notes ✂️ • Harvest Timing: Papaya Zoap was harvested at day 63, with select buds taken earlier at day 56 due to mold concerns. • Drying: After careful trimming, the buds were dried for 12 days. The quality and aroma during drying hinted at the stellar smoke to come. • Density & Yield: Buds were rock-solid, delivering an excellent yield with perfect density for storage and enjoyment. Terpene Profile & Aromas 🍋 • Primary Aromas: A tropical explosion with sweet papaya upfront, complemented by creamy, soapy undertones that make her truly unique. • Complexity: As the buds cure, a hint of citrus zest and exotic fruit emerges, creating a full-bodied terpene profile that’s simply irresistible. Cultivation Experience 💡 • Highlights: Her uniform growth, heavy trichome production, and response to super cropping made her a delight to grow. She thrived under careful spectrum adjustments and defoliation, showcasing her adaptability and vigor. • Challenges: The dense bud structure made her more prone to mold, especially in a high-humidity environment. However, proactive monitoring and swift action mitigated the spread. Verdict: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 (9.8/10) Papaya Zoap is a strain that commands attention with her beauty, aroma, and unstoppable growth. While her susceptibility to mold required extra care, her overall performance, yield, and quality were nothing short of exceptional. A grower’s dream and a frosty masterpiece! So, I keep my EC around 1.9-2.0, that represents about 3ML/L of sensi bloom a and b I thought I had some big bud left, but no, I'm tempted to use it again, because as much as I'm a fan of Advanced Nutrients, the price and the volume of fertilizer to use in their systems make them a money pit. So I'm thinking of using Athena for the RDWC and keep AN for my drip system and coco. To replace I think of the booster PK of Athena which is applicable from the 21 -th day of bloom. For the LEDS, I went to 70% intensity, or 1000 ppfd. All good, I will go to 80% MAX recommendation of SANlight without c0² in week 3. I put a first net, I placed about 1 apex per square and I will now let it grow, I don't "knit". I will install a second net at the 21 -th day of flowering which will be used as a stake.

Our little plants had such a big growth spurs, little but of a smell but not to bad, just defoliated a little so the middle and bottom gets more light. Just added nutrients and can't wait to see what they produce.

Got these plants as rescues, they were infested with powdery mildew, and under a bad light cycle causing them to flower prematurely. I cleaned up the dead growth over a period of a week or so after planting them into my yard, as well as weekly misting with a milk based spray to combat the PM as they returned to vegetative growth.

4/1/2023 Week 7- Day 1 of Veg (Day 59 overall) Water Change Day!!! Water was really low it was just above the hump in the Res cutting it close to not having enough water in the system to keep it going. They drank a lot making it close going the full 14 days. I am still going with the previous grows and adding 36 Gallons but even looking at the root I think the SILICA is working and the roots are further along at this point than in previous grows. This next two weeks will watch how much they drink and how low my Res starts getting, and will make a decision on changing the water weekly from here on out or still keep on the plan of every other week until Week 4 of Flower. Added 36 Gallons Mammoth SILICA= .5Mil/Gal = 18Mil CALMAG= .5Mil/Gal = 18Mil Root Drip= 1Mil/Gal = 36Mil FloraMicro = 5.4Mil/Gal = 194Mil FloraGrow = 4.2Mil/Gal = 151Mil FloraBloom = 4.6Mil/Gal = 166Mil ORCA = .5Mil/Gal =18Mil PPM= 536 PH=5.84 PPFD=500 Tent Temp= 76.5 Water Temp= 71.4 Humidity= 58% 4/2/2023 Week 7- Day 2 of Veg (Day 60 overall) Not much today, PH was at 5.81, I brought that back up to 5.90. I took care of some badly needed defoliation in each of the back sides .. I was able to see some really good clone material to use on the lower backside of each of the plants. I will be taking two clones from each to breed over the next few weeks depending on when I am going to flip them. 4/3/2023 Week 7- Day 3 of Veg (Day 61 overall) A little FIMing, A little Topping, and a Little bit of defoliation. Might have to take my clones during the week this week, I am trying to wait until Saturday to hit week 8 but again they are getting all over the place and I need to trim some of the sides and lower areas. 4/4/2023 Week 7- Day 4 of Veg (Day 62 overall) I decided to take my clones and clean up the lower half of the plants. I took 2 clones from each plant to go into the cloning machine. 4/5/2023 Week 7- Day 5 of Veg (Day 63 overall) Water Temp is sitting at 73. Right in my ideal range for my setup. Ideal range 70-74 My Temp Tent is my ideal zone75.6 Ideal for this grow 70-78 The lights are still waiting the switch to flower to get maxed out... The Humidity is coming in right at 60% I love it.. I took so much off yesterday I figure it was a good day to let them rest. 4/6/2023 Week 7- Day 6 of Veg (Day 64 overall) I needed to Defoliate some and I topped a little. The plants might force me to flip them soon. Next Wed is the 10 week mark half way through the 20 weeks. The net is Bingo... Which means that If/when the plants hit the net I will have to flip them. The Net is set to the max height that I can let them get based on the Breeders Stretch report 75%. 4/7/2023 Week 7- Day 7 of Veg (Day 65 overall) #3 is 22 inches Tall, #2 is 19 Inches Tall. Net is set at 24 inches. Net is also set as my Bingo point, if they hit the net then I have to flip no matter what to account for the Breeders recommended 75% Stretch allowance. I think I am going to have to flip right at the 10 week mark of the Competition which is Wed 12 Apr. I topped a little, I de-foliated a lot to start getting it ready for the anticipated Flip.

Cherry is quickly making me forget all about the tragic death of her sister. She is really bulking up and starting to really put on the frost even some fan leaves are starting to become frosty. She may have started slow but MAN is she making up for it now.

14º Semana 9º 12/12h. Week 14 9th 12/12h Flush week, watering every two days with only reverse osmosis water. This week they continued to show a more accelerated color change. By day 59, they already had a high percentage of amber trichomes, more than enough to harvest before day 60. A simple and uncomplicated grow: the plants are truly rewarding, not so much for the quantity of trichomes as for their growth, yield, and aroma; an aroma that suggests it will be delicious, possibly earthy, sweet, perhaps pine, or who knows, even with a citrusy touch, like lemon. Something like that. What I can say for sure is that it smells incredibly strong; it's not recommended for grows that want to go unnoticed. Después de 61 días, cosechar y secar en el armario.

Compost tea turned out well and if your curious about the microscopy, check the comments on my GMP grow. No signs of senescence yet so no feed needed, they are in a second run of the same soil so there should be plenty in there from before. Not very resinous or smelly, with weird wide stumpy buds. Definitely my least fav pheno of any plant I've grown so far, but it's the end product we're after so she may yet surprise.

It's amazing how quickly the weather can change. Just a few weeks ago we were bundled up in our warmest coats, and now it's finally starting to feel like springtime. With temps in the 40s and 50s, it's the perfect time to get outside and enjoy the sunshine. My pound cake plant is finally getting somewhere. It's totally weird, because the stems turned this super cool purple color. Soon it's going to be covered in pound cake buds that'll be ready to eat. I'm thinking fancy frosting might be the way to go, but I'm also considering something fruity on top.

Turns out the weather was perfect for drying. This is my first time bending the plant waay over instead of topping, so it was all new, turns out to not be a lot of difference except the shape is more rounded. I was a bit worried that it was not going to be a good return, I thought I might struggle to get six zips. eight seemed a bit optimistic but in the end she produced over 13.2 zips. I've just been extracting resin from the lowest quality of the box of larf I have and she is returning what I'd expect from my best buds, so yes, this is probably heavier than she looks because of the resin. Nice and light golden with a spicy delicate aroma. I'll be popping a seedsman amnesia next, but the one following that will be another Lemon Pie but she will be topped. However I can't see that I'm going to improve on 13.2, but you never know. Nevertheless I am very surprised at the yield.
