This will be the last week until harvest. It has been a decent grow had a few nutrient problems but I am happy with the turn out. I snipped off a tester bud and it got me pretty ripped once it was dry. That immediately made me antsy for the rest of the plant. Lol ... I will make another update next week at harvest. This northern lights will have gone 13 weeks at harvest. That is 5 weeks longer than the breeder said on the pack of seeds. Even though it was longer than expected I'm still super happy, she is alot bigger than most autos so no complaints here.

😎☀️ Outdoor season ☀️😎 So with the Kosher Cake i will not aim for big weights, but instead it will be just a little test to see how it will react outside. Usually the sun reaches my house for not many hours so we'll see.. However, it will be a fun and new thing for me, growing an autoflower and outside are things that i have not done so far.. I think i will let her grow two weeks inside the tent and then move her outside for the rest of her growth.

So we are 8 weeks +1 day here now, around 8 days into flush and 6 days away from chop. I’m guna cut these at 9weeks so they will probably get another 2/3 heavy waters and then 48hours of darkness. Really starting to pack on weight now I had to support all branches as much as I could with bamboo and garden ties. I sampled a bud I took when I first started flush at around 7 weeks and it was so smooth and creamy. Real nice fruity and zesty taste to it. Smelled of fresh lemons with a hint of grapefruit. High wasn’t heavy as expected being so early but certainly felt a relaxation effect 1 hour after smoke so really excited for finished product. Just counting down the days now!!

Tough going first few weeks going to look close on the postmortem for the roots and see if I can tell what was causing the issues with Phos, Ca, Mg lockouts. Foliar saved the day Was very disappointed in the germination rate which caused delays in grow cycle and threw off my whole grow system. It forced me into 7 gallon pots to try and save the yield and THAT may be where the issues arose with the pots, I had to use another bin of soil for the extra soil. Still I should have known better and just stuck with the 5 gallon pots but was trying to get yield. Worked too on Layla and Maggie, nothing was going to help the stunting on Brandy which I dropped from the grow. So 60% germination is not acceptable unless its tomatoes... Dont get me wrong though, this strain has a LOT of good qualities, it not only survived my foul up but produced one excellent plant and one monster out of the three that germed. May try it again next year, think it would be stellar in coco. Beyond that a quality product, just had issues. Patience is in fact a virtue. I tought she was near, but to my surprise, she had a growth explosion, a lot of new calyxes! I'll wait another week, keeping a close eye.

5th September It will be a few exciting days. Thunderstorm is coming. She was trimmed for airflow and has good support. Lets hope for the best!

To grow shes a pleasure , looked healthy all the way to crop ,, solid buds what absolute stink , its air dryin at roof hight and im still convinced everyone can smell it ,,,, honestly am drewlin knowin i got the summer time chedder

Day 70 has arrived. Did my first flush yesterday. Ppm on runoff was still 1450. Other growers have harvested this strain around day 75. Also cut a bunch of fan leaves yesterday. Couple more flushes and maybe try the 24 to 48 hour dark period to fatten buds up a lil more. Waiting on trichomes. Very happy with 1st grow! Stinky and sticky!

Welcome to week one of flower!!! This should get super interesting super quickly! With all the males pretty much weeded outta the room we got left with 9 plants that im 99,99% sure are female. The ladies are coming along very nice. I had to defoiliate them once cause they blew up and I needed the lower branches to get the light. Now it's time to start training these girls. Some but not all will be trained. I'm so pleased with the outcome so far. The banana blaze is super easy to grow as well as the Colorado Cookies. They are on their stretch mode now.
