Tag 14 Die erste Woche der Keimung war… sagen wir mal, eine echte Herausforderung. Und auch in die zweite Woche starten wir mit einigen Schwierigkeiten. Der pH-Wert im Gießwasser tanzt immer noch Tango und will sich einfach nicht stabilisieren lassen. Alle sechs Stunden muss ich ran und nachjustieren – ganz schön zeitaufwendig! Auch die Temperaturen sind noch ein Thema. 27 Grad sind einfach zu hoch, und da die kleinen Pflänzchen noch keine schattenspendenden Blätter haben, heizt es ordentlich auf. Ich habe mir aber mit Kühlpacks beholfen und das Gießwasser auf angenehme 22 Grad runtergekühlt. Hoffentlich mögen das die Wurzeln! Immerhin: Die Wurzelbildung scheint gut voranzugehen, jede Pflanze hat jetzt schon ein kleines Wurzelnetz entwickelt. Um jeder Pflanze die besten Startbedingungen zu geben, habe ich ihnen jetzt jeweils ein eigenes Licht spendiert. So kann ich die optimalen Werte für jede einzelne einstellen. Ob das alles so klappt, wie ich es mir vorstelle, wird sich in den nächsten Wochen zeigen. Aber wir starten optimistisch in Tag 14! Was steht heute auf dem Plan? Ich werde die pH-Werte im Auge behalten und schauen, ob die Kühlpacks die Wassertemperatur stabil halten können. Außerdem werde ich die kleinen Pflanzen genau beobachten, ob es ihnen gut geht. Plants have been scroged and are almost covering the hole net , knowing that they are going to strech for the first three weeks of flower, I'll be switching lights to a 12/12 cycle on the upcoming days . Happy growing y'all !

What’s going on lady’s an gentleman. GSC auto is going on w/8 an is killing in bud production! Had slight cal/mag issue got that fixed using roots organic cal+mag @1.5 tbs in a gallon of water an top feed. Rest of the week she got bottom feed. She is currently closer to the light an getting 49 DLI, RH@55%, Day temp is 81-82 degrees. Night temps is drop to 70-71 degrees. Other then that I’m stoked to see this girl finish she about a week or two out. An sofar just slaying it. That about all for this week Happy growing everyone an happy holidays

This gorgeous beast is so damn heavy I've had to support every single branch with plant yoyo's. There are no joke about 15 of them on this one plant. Even the little branches need support because the flowers are so big and dense! Not to mention this girl smells so strong of gas, sour funk, and a little citrus!

Week 4 Flower Diary: The Generative Pivot & Structural Reinforcement ​Phase: Mid-Flower / "The Bulking Engine" Light Intensity: 950 µmol/m²/s Environment: 28°C / 52% RH (1.56 kPa VPD) ​1. Environmental Governance: Chasing the VPD ​The primary focus this week has been the pursuit of the "Perfect VPD". As the Invisible Sun intensity was pushed to 950 µmols, the atmospheric pressure was increased to match the metabolic demand. ​The 1.56 kPa Target: Raising the VPD at this stage is a form of Generative Steering. By increasing the "atmospheric pull," we maximize transpiration velocity, ensuring the raw materials from the Biotabs and Bactrex are pulled efficiently into the developing flower sites. ​Heating Optimization: Introduced a Vivosun W70 heater to replace the bar radiator. This provides a more distributed thermal lift, eliminating the risk of localized root zone damage on inner-facing pots while maintaining the 21.2°C root-floor temperature needed for microbial stability. ​2. Nutrient Strategy: Structural Reinforcement ​With the PK Tea currently on a 36-hour bubble, the substrate was buffered today to support the high light load. ​Silicium Flash Top-Dress: Applied a top-dress of Silicium Flash to provide a slow-release mineral foundation. The added Silicon is critical at 950 µmols; it reinforces cell walls and helps the plant regulate its stomatal aperture under high-intensity stress. ​Top-Watering Protocol: Established a weekly 500ml top-watering routine. This serves two clinical purposes: it washes the Silicium Flash into the rhizosphere and prevents the accumulation of salts in the top inch of the media—a common issue in bottom-fed Autopot systems. ​Microbial Maintenance: Integrated a monthly Bactrex recharge into this top-watering schedule to maintain the microbial density required to process organic inputs. ​3. Photobiological Log: Spectral Steering ​The 13/11 photoperiod continues to drive high efficiency via the "Sleep Hack". ​Emerson Effect Efficiency: Running the Deep Red (680nm) and Far-Red (730nm) channels mid-day allows both photosystems (PSII and PSI) to operate in a synergistic series. This prevents the metabolic "bottleneck" that occurs when plants are pushed near their saturation point of 1000 µmols. ​UV Status: While the Solacure Flower Power arrival was delayed, the room is being coaxed into high gear at 1.56 kPa in preparation. Once the bar is deployed, we will initiate the UVR8 process, where the plant perceives 280nm radiation and responds by increasing glandular trichome density as a biological defense.its some interesting science goes on when you blast 280nm photons at a plant. Proteins do mad stuff which I look forward to going on about once the damn light arrives.. ​4. Observations & Baseline ​New flower site photos taken today establish the Pre-UV baseline. Stacking is dense due to the high Phytochrome Photostationary State (PSS) maintained by tmynlighting rig and the plants are currently praying to the light gods, indicating they have fully acclimated to the current 950 µmol load. ​Weekly Tasking: In 36hr Check PK Tea oxygenation and apply at the end of the brew cycle. ​UV Arrival: Inspect Solacure bulbs and program the 15-minute "Acclimation Pulses" for the mid-day peak. ​VPD Check: Ensure RH doesn't climb above 55% during the dark transition. Did some low stress training on the GC again. My Clone rooted and received a 15 L autopot, flipping to flower next week on the 3th to 4th June once the clone has some decent rooting, Reservoir running with 3.0 EC and PH 5.9. Plan for the next days: Dryback into irrigation Phase before i switch to flower next week in order to prevent salt buildups and a fair usage of already applied nutrients from the Reservoir.

Here we go for another run. I was recently made aware that a seedy I had germinated was not what i thought I was, so here I am making it right with a tastebudz seed directly from their website. 😁 The strain I have chosen for this run is moon berry. Germinated in a coco coin that has been soak in water with a little bit of mycroboost from living soils. At 25 degrees and between 70-80% humidity. This run will be an organic living soils run. Coco coin has been planted straight into her final pot, which is a 5gal fabric pot. Soil is previously amended but was only used for a week. Using Biobizz light mix and worm humus along side living soils amendments and beneficials. Mulch is made up of cover crop which was chopped dropped and reseeded. Soil also has worms in. Light is marshydro led 150 watt first week running only 1 at 25% 45cm away from soil. Light have been running 20 hours a day this week now dropping to 18 while the power is upped to 50%. Only one 4” fan running atm with no extractor this week and only this seedling is in the whole 80x80cm tent. I am buzzing to get this going. Let’s get this work! 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽

Day 31 of flower Basically the girls are on autopilot, with the autopots and Gaia green there really isn't much to do, both methods are super user friendly and the basic needs that need to be meet are just ph water in the reservoir every couple days and then watch them stack buds on top of buds...Occasionally I move a branch over to another square in the net to make room but Basically after the last top feeding it's just watch and weight, pun intended....

OVERALL: ~ Very happy with the grow, I really dialled everything in well this run. ~ She grew super fast, I put it down to the constant oxygenation of the rootzone along with consistent and constantly optimized light DLI and leaf to air temp variance. The extra Co2 helped push the plant to its limit in terms of heat, allowing it to push its hardest. ~ The lack of HST and Defoliation I feel let it finish faster due to lack of stress and stunting. The faster finishing time along with the big yield and efficient MarsHydro light, it hugely reduced my electricity costs per gram and freed up space much sooner for the next plant. ~ Turned into a very dense bush of buds, there is even smokable dense buds at the base of the plant due to the under canopy lighting (Not as dense as top canopy buds but still decent) ~ Ran a thin line between stressing the plant and letting it flourish. The buds came out big and very dense, also it's hard to see on camera but they're very frosty too (Prob from UVB) YIELD: ~ 145g (dry) in just 9 weeks from seed. ~ 753g (Wet) ~ 0.91g/watt GENETICS: ~ MSNL - Gorilla Glue Auto ~ my favorite strain, as you can tell by my username! STRAIN REVIEW: ~ Heavy hitter, like an indica but has some of that "feel it in your face" sensation of a strong sativa. Not as heavy or as strong as other GG#4's I have smoked, which would make me question the genetics used to produce the auto version. I will wait till after a cure and judge it again. TRAINING: ~ No defoliation or HST (Bar last week for pics) ~ A little LST and leaf tucking but largely just left the plant alone to do its thing. I felt chopping healthy parts off the plant would slow the plant down and leave it with less chlorophyll to photosynthesize the light. ~ I did prune by lightly plucking dead leaves away, when the plant was ready to let them go easily. DRYING ~ 20/21'C 50% RH with air circulation. ~ Homemade Drybox made using: 2 x Bankers Boxes ~ 2 x USB Desk Fans ~ 1 x Carbon Filter ~ 6 x Clothes Hangers UPDATE: Day 5 after Harvest: ~ Fast dried some small batches, as we couldn't wait to sample. ~ Chopped off branches as some are down to 12% moisture whilst bigger buds are up at 18%. Moving to paper bag for couple of days to even moisture out then transferring to jars CURING: ~Curing in jars 3/4 full. ~ Dark closet/18'C/50% RH ~ Jars burped once Hygro passes 65% and sealed when it drops to 58%. ~ Stabilised it at 62% and after 2 weeks I'll drop it some more and stabilise it at 58% to bring out more of the flavour. ~Sitting in jars with Boveda 62% at this stage. ~ Already tastes and feels great. WATER: ~ Condensed (Starting at 40ppm) ~ Disinfected prior to adding nutrients etc. (Using COOSPIDER UVC - 253nm & 187nm bulb) CLIMATE: ~ Ambient Air Temp = 29'C ~ 28'C LST ~ Leaf to air temp variance of between 1'C ~ Night Temp = 22/23'C ~ Day/Night temp differential 6-7'C ~ Under Canopy Temp: 26'C (Day) ~ 21'C (Night) ~ Relative Humidity = 50-60%RH (Avg. 55%RH) ~ VPD = 1.45kPa (Avg.) ~ Co2 ranges from 900ppm to 1500ppm (Avg. 1200ppm) AIR PRESSURE: ~ Ambient Air Pressure (outside tent) = Mean Avg. 1010 mbars (101 Kilopascals) ~ Actual Air Pressure (inside tent) = Mean Avg. 1005 mbars (100.5 Kilopascals) ~ Air Pressure Differential = up to 0.5 kPa range between inside & outside LIGHT: ~ UVB (High intensity @ 45cm) ~ 2 hours daily mid light cycle. ~ Warm White 3000K/White 5000k/Far Red (660nm) ~ At plant canopy = PPFD 900-1000umols/s/m2 ~ Lux 45,000-55,000 ~ Daily Light Integral 55-65 ~ Under canopy lighting ~ Blue (460nm)/ Red (630nm) NUTRIENTS: ~ Mostly Advanced Nutrients (For base nutrients and most additives, as only company I could find scientific data on) ~ Canna (For Calmag Agent and Cannazym) ~ Plant Success (Great White Mycorrhizae) ADDITIONAL GROW TECHNIQUES: INFECTION PREVENTION & CONTROL: Infection control practices i.e ~ PPE, Alcohol Hand wash ~ Gray room outside tent, ~ Carbon filter ~ HEPA filter ~ Plasma Ionizer ~ Inline UV-C germicidal bulb ~ Also using an additional higher powered COOSPIDER (UVC) 253nm & 187nm bulb, to disinfect the gray room outside of the tent once a week for 30 mins. ~ Ozone (o3) gas that is produced using the COOSPIDER, is then directed into the tent to further control any unwanted pathogens. ~ Ed Rosenthal (Zero Tolerance organic pesticide), sprayed once a week as preventative measure. On hand for heavier use (Once every 3 days before lights out for 15 days) in the case of an outbreak (No outbreaks yet, due to aforementioned preventative measures)

No major phenotypic differences so far — which makes this run especially interesting to follow. ⸻ 🌸 Week 5 overview — transition into flower This week marks what feels like the first “real” flower week: • Clear bud sites forming • Vertical growth slowing slightly • Side branches pushing up evenly • Plants staying compact and well-balanced They’re stacking nicely and responding very well to the gentle training approach. ⸻ 🌿 Training & canopy management No heavy interventions here: • Continuous leaf tucking • Gentle branch bending • Very light LST, only where needed to open the canopy No defoliation beyond what’s absolutely necessary. The goal remains: let the plant decide, we just guide So far, this approach is paying off. ⸻ 🍽️ Nutrition & irrigation strategy (important update) ➕ CalMag introduced this week Not because the plants are deficient — but because: • We’re using rainwater + dehumidifier water • These sources are very low in minerals • Calcium & Magnesium need to be present before demand spikes This also explains the EC adjustments this week. ⸻ 🚿 Hand-watered plants • EC: 1.43 • pH: 5.9–6.0 • Water temp: 22.8°C Carefully adjusted to support flower transition without pushing too hard. ⸻ 💧 AutoPot-fed plants (6 plants) • EC: 2.29 • pH: 6.01 • Water temp: 22.8°C AutoPots are running mineral-only inputs, as organic inputs don’t perform well in this system. Higher EC here is intentional and controlled. ⸻ 🔍 Plant handling All plants are regularly: • Taken out of the tent • Checked for weight, water demand, and overall condition • Then returned to their position This helps ensure each plant gets exactly what it needs. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment (winter realities) • Outside: ~5°C, RH 92–96% • Grow room: • Temp: ~21.8°C • RH: ~58% Not ideal on paper — but the plants are not complaining, so we adapt and keep observing. ⸻ 💡 Lighting • PPFD: ~700–850 (depending on plant size and position) • Plants are praying consistently, showing good light response We let the plants “decide” how much they want to push. No forcing — just monitoring. 🔦 Under-canopy lighting — phased introduction By the end of this week, we’ll be plugging in the under-canopy lights. The canopy has already grown past the main light plane, and the goal here is not to blast the lowers — but to signal the plant that light is present from all directions. Why we’re doing this: • Encourage lower and inner bud sites to stay active • Reduce the “shade shutdown” response • Support more uniform flower development • Improve airflow and plant posture as branches respond to multidirectional light Important note: This will start very gently — low intensity, just enough to be perceived. PPFD and intensity under the canopy will be increased gradually, only if the plants respond positively. The idea isn’t forcing production — it’s communication. We let the plant decide how much it wants to use. ⸻ Fungus gnats — honesty section Yes, we’re seeing a small fungus gnat presence: • Yellow sticky traps installed • More intentional dry-downs • Actively monitoring, not panicking Personal thought (not science, just observation): A mild, controlled pressure may trigger subtle defense responses. Whether that translates into anything meaningful later… we’ll see.
